Su Nian groggily sat up: "What time is it?"
"If you don't get up now, you're going to be late."
Su Nian hurriedly got out of bed: "Baby, wait for Mom, Mom will take you to school."
"No need, I can get there myself, just look after yourself and don't let people bully you at work."
Looking at her three-year-old son acting like an adult and scolding her, Su Nian didn't know whether to laugh or cry. In this household, it seemed as if Su Bao was the head of the family. Not at ease leaving the two children alone, Su Nian changed her clothes and went downstairs.

Shen Hanxiu picked up Su Zhen and said to Su Nian: "I'll take the kids to school."

Su Nian quickly went back inside, and only after carefully checking her reflection in the mirror to ensure not making a spectacle of herself did she leave.
The Sheng Han Building was still as majestic as ever, Su Nian felt a shiver as she walked in.
From her time there four years ago, she was quite familiar with the company and went straight to the HR department.
She was still assigned to the finance department but was downgraded from the department head to a junior accountant.

Xue Qi's face lit up with a smile as she leaned in and boasted to Su Nian: "I took a break in between... to have Zisheng's child, our son is three years old now."
The "Zisheng" she mentioned was Su Nian's boyfriend from high school, his full name Li Zisheng.
