Several miles away, lies a small village named Taohua Village.
Amidst the wilderness, peach blossoms bloom in profusion, spreading pink hues everywhere.
This should have been a harmonious and tranquil village.
But this night, the entire Taohua Village was eerily quiet, all lights out.
Only one household was brightly lit!
Red cloths were hung, and lanterns decorated the place, displaying a festive atmosphere.

Two elderly people in their sixties were pressed to the ground by a group of people.
Dressed simply, they clearly looked like villagers of this place.
But now, a delicate young girl dressed in a bright red wedding gown was dragged out from the inner room by two robust village women.
The girl, probably sixteen or seventeen, cried bitterly as she tore at her fingernails, which began bleeding on the door frame.
"I don't want to marry!"
"That's a demon!"
