"This is too outrageous!
I just had an indescribable dream in the cinema, so how could I be pregnant?!"
Emily Parker was stunned when she received the electronic test report—how could a single girl have a spring dream and get pregnant?!
Four weeks pregnant... Four weeks? Emily was taken aback.
Four weeks ago, it was Valentine's Day. That day, a friend gave her two tickets and asked her to invite her crush to a private cinema to watch a movie.
In the end, the person never showed up. She waited too long, fell asleep, and even had an indescribable "girlish dream."
In the dream, a man's nose grazed her back, his sweat dripped onto her skin, burning like fire, everything was crazy and passionate.
The dream was so real that when Emily left the cinema, her waist was sore, her legs were weak, and she felt completely drained.
But spring dreams leave no trace. She forgot about it afterward and thought the delay in her period was just irregular menstruation...
And yet she's pregnant? Could the man in the dream be real too?
"It's me."
Suddenly, a man sat opposite her, his voice cold and arrogant, interrupting Emily's thoughts. Emily was bewildered for a moment before remembering that she was in a coffee shop for a blind date.
"I'm Carlos," before Emily could fully recover, the breathtakingly handsome man slowly spoke, "your blind date."
Emily then remembered she was here for a blind date today. She quickly composed herself and looked up at the man across from her, just about to speak when her expression froze!
This person! This physique! Why did he look so much like the man in her dream?!
That night, the dream was hazy and chaotic, the cinema's lighting dim, she hadn't seen the man's face clearly at all.
But Emily studied medicine, her eyes were like measuring instruments.
The body proportions and that strong waist were exactly like the man from that night... Identical?!
"Have you seen enough?" Carlos saw that Emily was staring at him in a daze and frowned, "Are you Sophie Parker?"
The unhappy tone jolted Emily back to her senses and she apologized, "Oh, no, I'm Emily Parker, Sophie's sister."
This blind date was originally arranged for her sister Sophie, but Sophie inexplicably backed out and didn't want to come. Their father, fearing to offend the other party, pushed the meeting onto her.
This was how it always was since they were young. Only when her sister refused something would it come to her.
"It doesn't matter," Carlos seemed indifferent, "Sister, sister, they're all the same. None of them can compare to my white moonlight."
As Carlos spoke, his eyes softened a lot. His white moonlight, so delicate and beautiful, pure as a blank sheet of paper, instantly captured his heart.
But in the blink of an eye, the tenderness vanished. Carlos looked at Emily, curled his lips into a cold smile, his attitude extremely vile:
"So Miss Parker, now, could you please move your eyes off me? I have no interest in someone as ordinary as you."
Emily gave a speechless smile and immediately concluded two things—
First, if this guy had someone in his heart, he absolutely couldn't be the man from that night.
Second, she really didn't like this guy!
No wonder, she thought. How could her precious sister willingly give up someone with such a superior family background and good looks to her?
"Well, that's great," Emily said nonchalantly, "I wasn't interested in Young Master Carter either, so this makes the blind date easier."
Upon hearing this, Carlos let out a cold snort, "Liar! Trying to play hard to get, how low-level can you be?"
She'd almost glued her eyes to him just now, and still had the face to say she didn't like him?
There had never been a woman who didn't like him since he was young!
Already irritated by the inexplicable pregnancy, Carlos's attitude only worsened Emily's mood, making her frown with annoyance and pull out her WeChat QR code, "I'll pay for the coffee, but add me on WeChat so you can split the bill!"
She'd rather throw her money away than spend a dime on this lousy man!
Carlos laughed angrily at this woman! If she wanted his WeChat, she could just say so, what was she pretending for?
"Playing hard to get, liar, you're disgusting, dreaming if you think you'll get my WeChat!"
Carlos gave a cold laugh, turned, and left, while Emily, enraged, slammed her phone onto the table.
Neither saw Sophie Parker grinning triumphantly while watching the scene unfold from a corner outside the coffee shop.
Seeing them part unhappily, she curled her lips into a cold smile:
"My dear sister, the woman Carlos's mother originally favored as a daughter-in-law was you. This blind date was supposed to be yours."
"In my dream, I thought Carlos was some hot property, stole your blind date, and married this rich second-generation Carlos."
"Only to find out this useless man had someone in his heart, leaving me stuck in a loveless marriage and eventually dying from depression after an overdose."
"While you married your crush, soared high, and lived happily ever after. Why should it be?!!"
"In this life, I will trample you underfoot! Carlos, this useless man, I'll give him back to you, and that perfect crush of yours, haha, he'll be mine."
Sophie took one last look at the café, turned, and left.
Emily Parker, you're already having such a bad time with Carlos because of the blind date. Just wait for the suffering after marriage!
This time, I'll make sure to take your crush and smile while watching you struggle through life.
Sophie smiled as she left, not knowing that within minutes of her departure, in the café where Emily was sitting in a daze, full of sorrow over her mysterious pregnancy, Carlos returned with a stiff expression?!
Standing awkwardly in front of Emily, he said, "Uh... ahem... just now, it was my fault..."
Emily was completely stunned, "Huh?"
