The travel bus carried a total of eleven people: one driver, one tour guide, and nine passengers.
Ye Tian and Chu Yifei, Zheng Hua and his female colleague Zhou Li, along with two couples, and a single young man.
The bus quickly left Su Province and entered Tianyang Province.
Some of the passengers on board were resting, others were listening to music, and some were admiring the scenery outside the window.
Suddenly there was a traffic jam up ahead, and the bus came to a stop.
"What's the situation?"
The passengers noticed many vehicles starting to turn back and looked towards the tour guide.
"There's been a road collapse ahead; this route is blocked,"
explained the middle-aged driver.
"Can't we take another road?"
The tour guide looked towards the driver.
"Taking a detour would add six hours; we wouldn't reach Primordial Forest in Zangqing Mountain until tomorrow."
"That's way too long."
