"What's the matter, Assistant Lin? Just going to leave our little Nana behind? Aren't you afraid she'll be heartbroken?"
In Shen Peini's office, the woman sat behind her large desk, her creamy, snow-white arms propping up her fair, slender chin, her eyes brimming with unshed tears as she stared unblinkingly at Lin Fei.
"She's on her period, let her air out for a few days."
Lin Fei plonked himself down onto the chair in front of Shen Peini's office desk.
"You always speak so boldly and unrestrainedly, never knowing how to soften your words."
Even someone as mature as Shen Peini couldn't help but spit out a word of disgust at Lin Fei.
"I was born without a grasp of subtlety."
As he spoke, Lin Fei walked around the office desk and approached Shen Peini.
"Little brother, you really don't know subtlety, do you?"
Clearly, Shen Peini's words were not in jest.
Although Lin Fei knew it was likely a trap, he nevertheless felt a trace of jumping right into it.
