Fang Yi stepped out of the taxi and strode into the hotel. At the front desk, he asked for a room number then headed toward that room.
Arriving at the door, Fang Yi gently knocked three times. The door opened, and a man with thick eyebrows and heavy-set eyes scrutinized Fang Yi.
"I'm Fang Yi."
Fang Yi introduced himself and produced the token Bai Jingjing had given him.
With no further doubts, the man fully opened the door and stepped aside to let Fang Yi in.
Fang Yi walked into the room to find three people inside, including the man who had answered the door. He noticed another man who closely resembled the door opener in facial features and age, likely his brother.
The remaining man looked rather grim.
"My name is Liu An," the man who opened the door introduced himself. "This is my brother, Liu Lang." He pointed to the man who looked like him.
Just as he was about to introduce the last, grim man, that man spoke up, "I am Gu Zheng."
