Chapter 42 - 41. Exchange with Kyoto part 2

Chapter 41

While Itadori was melting from Todo's words, and the big guy himself was overly emotional from finding a guy he was ready to call not just a friend, but a "best friend", I saw how the rest of the Kyoto College team began to surround Sukuna's vessel.

It took only a moment for the shamans to decide to act, and it was this moment that Itadori had enough time to realize that he was surrounded, and the next moment he dodged the bullets fired at him by Mai Zenin, who, however, did not expect to hit, but only gave him a direction straight to the blue-haired cutie Miwa.

A circle could be seen around the girl, clearly indicating the use of a simple territory, although only those who can see the cursed energy can see it. As soon as Itadori was inside this territory, the girl, albeit with a little hesitation, launched a quick iaido strike, however, Itadori Yuji was a monster in the physical plane even before he learned to use cursed energy, and now, he was able to dodge the seemingly instantaneous strike at the last moment, leaving the girl amazed at such reflexes.

It was only natural that this was not the only attack of the shamans, because as soon as the guy's feet touched the ground, a strange ball from Mekhamaru was already flying at him, and Mai Zenin with his revolver and Kamo Naritoshi with a bow took aim at it.

In this situation, Itadori no longer had time to dodge the android's bomb, and although I could trust Todo, who would most likely, as in canon, save Yuji, I was a little tired of just watching, and it pissed me off that, knowing about my presence, they still decided to attempt on Itadori's life.

Instantly appearing in front of Itadori, I took the bomb blast into my infinity.

"I see you want to quickly finish this stage, well…" my planned pompous speech was interrupted by Todo, who appeared right behind the back of the heir of the Kamo clan.

- Hey, - the big guy began threateningly before striking, clearly intending to smash his classmate into the ground, who only managed to dodge at the last moment upon hearing Todo's voice, and a crater remained where he stood.

- I told you. I'll kill you if you get in my way. - Todo said with deadly seriousness.

- That's not true. You said you'd kill us if we gave you orders. - Naritoshi calmly disagreed.

- It's the same thing, get lost! - the big guy shouted angrily.

- Looks like we'll retreat.

- How stupid.

Mai and Mekhamaru expressed their opinions and only Miwa was clearly happy with this arrangement, although she tried not to show it, while the little witch who was flying in the air on a broom and should not have participated in the battle, being in this case reconnaissance.

- Kill him, - the heir of Kamo addressed Todo, starting to leave.

"It's bud…" Todo began to answer, but such blatant disregard completely infuriated me.

"Am I a joke to you?" I asked with truly cold fury, releasing the pressure on the shamans from Kyoto.

Feeling that things were heading towards beatings, all the Kyoto students except Todo scattered, but I wasn't happy with that option. Summoning Oz, I merged, only this time we didn't turn into a huge crow, but instead a pair of black wings grew out of my back.

- You won't go anywhere! - along with my furious scream, lightning struck in front of those running into the ground, forcing them to stop and turn all their attention to me. And the sky above us was covered with clouds, among which purple flashes of lightning sparkled. The first time I used my elemental explosion, I spent about half of my reserve to make one massive lightning strike, but now that energy is not a problem for me, I felt like the embodiment of an electro-archon, I knew that just one thought and my lightning would hit the shamans who provoked me, and the clouds in the sky accumulated more and more of the energy I sent.

- Todo, I was planning to give everyone a chance to prove themselves, but it will all end now. As a friend, I will give you a choice. Either you and these bastards will confront me now, or you will continue your fight with Itadori, I promise I will not interfere.

- Even though my blood is boiling in anticipation of a glorious battle, my best friend needs this fight.

- Hey, Todo! Are you going to abandon us for Sukuna's damn vessel?!" Mai was indignant.

"Unlike you, he was able to become my friend," Todo said before walking up to Itadori.

- Let's go my friend, soon there will be no room for our battle here.

- Eh... okay. - scratching the back of his head, Itadori followed Todo.

"We don't need to fight," Naritoshi tried to avoid a battle that was obviously unwinnable.

"You also had no reason to try to kill Itadori, but you did it," I answered without hesitation, and then added, "Don't worry, I won't kill you... maybe."

While we were talking on the ground, the little witch Nishimiya Momo, who had been flying above us before, decided to try to escape, hoping that there was no lightning near her when she was warned, naturally I wasn't going to let her go.

- Where are you going? - a purple flash lit up the area for a moment, and then everyone heard the scream of a girl who a moment later fell next to her classmates, holding in her hands what was left of her broom.

- A-aa, maybe you'll let us go after all? - Momo looked at me pleadingly, clutching the broken, damned instrument to herself.

"No," I answered categorically, nevertheless, not rushing to attack, however, I didn't need to, because Mekhamaru and Naritoshi began to move, as if my words served as a signal for them to begin.

From the android's parted mouth, a real gun crawled out, with obvious intent, while Naritoshi finally opened his eyes, with a bloody mark forming around his right eye, and then he, joining his palms in front of him in my direction, began to squeeze the blood.

- Slowly. - I said calmly, and then the attackers were struck by lightning, and if I weakened the lightning that hit Naritoshi to the level that it would not kill, but at the same time he was no longer able to fight, then only ashes remained from the android, after all, it was not in vain that I was filling my burst of elements with energy all this time.

- Eeeee! - Momo immediately squealed in fear. However, Mai and Miwa, despite their more restrained reaction inside, were not far behind her, after all, they knew very well how strong one of Mekhamaru's androids was, and then he was destroyed by just one lightning bolt, as a result, our surroundings again sank into silence.

"You won't attack?" I asked curiously.

- Are you kidding me?! - exclaimed May.

- How did you want to win then?

"Todo was supposed to fight you," the girl answered sullenly.

- Ahh, I see. At first you wanted to pit me against Todo, and then bam, you were ordered to kill Itadori. Yeah, it sucks to be you.

- What are you waiting for? Finish it already! - Mai's nerves finally gave out.

- Oh, okay, I honestly hoped that you would attack me and show me your technique, and then I would calmly hit you, you are so bitchy. - I sighed in disappointment, having calmed down even after taking the android Mekhamaru and Naritoshu out of the game, and decided to act differently.

- Okay, let's do it this way, you use your damn technique, and in exchange I'll let you go. You'll be useless anyway. - I suggested, completely ignoring how unpleasant my words were to them.

"Okay," Mai replied, grimacing, and then extended her hand forward, palm up, on which a moment later a real bullet appeared, which, due to the cursed energy in it, was much more dangerous.

"Great, go away," I answered with a smile.

Hearing me, the girls did not waste time and grabbed their unconscious leader and immediately ran away. Perhaps someone is wondering why I am so happy about Mai's technique? Everything is quite simple here, although this technique is so expensive that it takes all of its small reserve to create one bullet, but the joke of this technique is that it is a literal technique of creation, that is, while there is energy, you can create a lot, although I do not know to what extent, this will require experiments.

- Well, all that's left is to wait for the guests. - With an anticipatory smile, I looked at the storm clouds, which were becoming increasingly saturated with my energy.
