After dancing for a while,Liu Daxun walked back to the counter. Xiao Hui and Li Yunxi were busy serving drinks to customers. He was sweaty , thirsty and exhausted. He ordered a drink to quench his thirst before realization hit him; Gu Shan was missing.
"Where is ShanShan?"He asked clearly tense his eyes searching the place.
"He just left and said he'll be back."
"When was that and what direction did he go?"Liu Daxun pressed clearly panicking.
"He left like an hour ago but I didn't see clearly where he headed to."
"Fuck! Something must have happened to him!"Liu Daxun snapped jumping down from his seat ready to search every corner for his friend. A pang of guilt struck him with a million thoughts about something bad happening to his friend flooding his mind. He was the one who dragged him there. He wouldn't be able to get over the guilt if something had actually happened to him.
"Why don't you try calling him first?"Xiao Hui proposed trying to sound positive.
Liu Daxun quickly fished out his from his pocket,his trembling fingers scrolled down the contacts till he found his target and he immediately dialled the number. As he waited the call to be received at the other end,his heart pounded hard against his chest and he began sweating profusely.
"Hello?"a slightly drunk voice answered from the other end.
"Where are you?" He asked impatiently.
"I went back to the apartment. My mom called and said she has booked a morning flight for me so I came back to prepare,"he explained.
"Fine then,"Liu Daxun disconnected the call and released the breath he had been holding for a while as he felt relief wash over him. The coldness he had been feeling earlier due to nervousness suddenly disappeared only to be replaced with the warmth of feeling relaxed.
"Where did he go?"
"He went back to the apartment. His mother booked a morning flight for him so he had to go back to prepare,"he said literally taking the exact words out of Gu Shan's mouth.
"Where is his hometown by the way?"
"His mother lives in Shenzhen,"Liu Daxun replied briefly.
"I'm going back to the dancefloor,"Liu Daxun declared and walked away leaving the two bartenders by themselves.
Li Yunxi was strangely quiet and seemed to be contemplating about something. Xiao Hui being curious about the details of the so called fan service with Su Liang decided to break the silence.
"How did it go?"
"Just the usual. She keeps saying she'll make me love her one day,"Li Yunxi revealed sounding exasperated by the girl's actions.
"As long as she doesn't harm you, you can just let her pursue you she'll give up one day."
"I don't know if I'll be able to tolerate her for that long," he sighed,"When will you be leaving for Tianjin?"Li Yunxi asked changing the subject.
"The day after tomorrow. And you?"
"I have no where to go. I will just stay here and work to make some extra money,"Li Yunxi said in a wistful tone.
"What about your relatives?"
"I don't think I have any relatives I can depend on."

Ever since Gu Shan went back to Shenzhen he had been in a pensive mood. He found himself zoning out most of the times. There was some sort of malevolent spirit roaming inside him urging him and pressing him to carry out revenge on Su Liang and his new lover. He had tried to get rid of it but it seemed to overpower him and he finally gave in becoming possessed by it.
A perfect revenge required a perfect plan in order to increase the chances of succeeding. He had decided to meddle with their situationship and not let them have each other formally. First he had decided to pick Li Yunxi as the perfect pawn to use in his little revenge game. He would make Li Yunxi fall in love with him and then he would break his heart at the end. Of course he wouldn't use pure seduction to woo him because it would become too obvious. He would subtly flirt with him and simultaneously break his own rules for him just to make him feel special and Li Yunxi would naturally become inclined towards him.
He would slowly break down the walls Li Yunxi had built around his heart and invade his caged heart. He would then intoxicate him with his love,allow Yunxi to mark him ,declare him as his and when he feels Li Yunxi's addiction towards him is beyond redemption he would drop a bombshell on him and reveal his new girlfriend,reveal he has never been his,has never really belonged to him and he'll never will just to prickle his poor heart like needles or thorns prickling the skin and then his heart would shatter into unfixable pieces.
Gu Shan could sense Li Yunxi's attraction towards him even if the attraction was little and maybe nonsexual,he believed it would still be an ideal catalyst to precipitate the chances of his grand plan succeeding. In his first attempt to date Li Yunxi would get heartbroken - he would never be able to recover from such a heartbreak.
What a heartbreaking heartbreak!
Perfect! Just perfect! Gu Shan thought like a maniac.
At the end of the day he would have also snatched Li Yunxi from Su Liang to achieve his perfect revenge. It was like killing two birds with one stone. That day he suggested the threesome was just to piss them off but this time he was sure he would get a bigger reaction from them.
Gu Shan's baleful look almost tore his surrounding like a piece of paper and he let a sinister smile paint his face as his mind brewed the wicked thoughts.
"You're ruining it!"the young girl beside him cried.
Gu Shan snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the crumpled red paper cutting in his hands he had just unconsciously destroyed.
He and his younger sister Gu Li Na were doing decorations for the Chinese New Year. It was a day he was supposed to have clear thoughts and focus on celebrating with his family,look forward to a new beginning but there he was thinking like a villain character in a political struggles drama.
"Why do you seem distracted lately? Is something wrong?" Gu Li Na asked in a concerned voice. The two siblings were close so of course she would notice something was wrong with him. Gu Li Na was just six younger than him but her mental age was most definitely more than her current age. She was very observant and contemplative at the same time - always analysing others' behaviour especially his brother.
"You're overthinking. I'm just thinking about random things,"Gu Shan responded forcing a smile.
"But why would you look sad when thinking about random things?"She pressed voicing out her observation.
"Are you guys done?"their mother's voice suddenly interrupted them and Gu Shan thanked her internally for saving himself from his sister's inquisitiveness. He knew she would definitely ask him about it sometime later but by then he would have concocted a perfect excuse to fool her.
