After getting over her little heartbreak that she brought on herself,Su Liang returned to her usual self. Since Wei Nuo had moved in with her,it was convenient for them to go to classes together. Everything was normal but one thing had definitely changed - what she and Gu Shan had was now history . In class she could only steal glances at him but from her own observation the guy didn't seem to be affected by their breakup. He was attentive in class jotting down the notes and answering questions of whatever the teacher asked. So far he was the best student his program of study and the lecturer's pet.
As other students left the lecture hall,Gu Shan stayed behind packing his things in his backpack. Since he was seated in the front, students from other rows passed by him on their way outside but he didn't pay much attention to it until a familiar feminine voice greeted him garnering all his attention.
"ShanShan..."Su Liang greeted him with a wide grin. Her friend stood beside her with her hand wrapped around Su Liang 's waist.
Gu Shan didn't respond;instead he stood up threw his backpack over his shoulders and walked out of the room like Su Liang never existed. He wanted nothing to do with her. Liu Daxun who had been watching that scene silently also walked out of the hall chasing after his friend hoping to get a clarification of what had just happened. He was still curious why they broke up but since Gu Shan warned him not to ask he decided to suppress his curiosity for the time being but that scene just now had sparked his nosiness.

"Why did you do that back there?"Liu Daxun pried finally catching up with Gu Shan.
"You don't have to know,"Gu Shan replied coldly.
"Come on will it hurt if you tell me why you broke up?"Liu Daxun pressed.
"Fine. I will tell you,"Gu Shan exasperated by his friend's nosiness finally spilled the beans explaining everything except the guy's name and the details of his sexual encounter with Li Yunxi.
Liu Daxun was left shocked that he didn't ask further.
"But why don't you seem hurt at all?It's her fault but she seemed to be affected more by your break up,"Liu Daxun couldn't help but question his friend's indifference towards such a crucial matter.
"I don't have to waste my sadness on someone else's mistake,"Gu Shan sassed.
"You really are a detached guy,"Liu Daxun nodded chuckling with amusement.

Li Yunxi and Xiao Hui were in their third year studying clinical medicine. The two were almost inseparable be it at school or at work. On a Monday late afternoon ,they sat surrounding a large table in a coffee shop with a group of other six students. They were working on a group assignment . Li Yunxi and Xiao Hui had to complete their school assignment before heading out to the club they usually worked part-time.
The coffee shop they were in was owned by a student and was conducive for learning and was regarded the most favourable meeting place for several students intending to carry out group tasks.
Su Liang and Wei Nuo not being left out frequented the place to carry out even their individual tasks together. Once they settled in their own place,they immediately spotted the two familiar figures in the group and Su Liang immediately blushed watching how sexy Li Yunxi looked while explaining whatever concept they were studying. His lip movements - with him moistening his lips every now and then and it made her imaginations run wild. She wasn't the only one captivated by him even other students in the group were keenly listening to him. Wei Nuo smiled seeing her friend hypnotized by that particular guy.
"Why don't you talk to him again?"Wei Nuo suggested.
"No, he already rejected me,"Su Liang pouted and reluctantly withdrew her gaze from the guy.
"You know my ex boyfriend didn't like me at first. I was the one who pursued him and he rejected me several times claiming I wasn't his type and he said things like he hated relationships but I captured his heart at the end of the day. So it's about determination. You can try again and approach him."
"Try again? Won't it be embarrassing if he rejects me again?"
"If you want to pursue someone you ought to be shameless."
A perfect opportunity presented itself when Li Yunxi's phone rang and he excused himself walking out of the shop to receive the call .
"Follow him,"Wei Nuo encouraged her.
Motivated by her friend's words,Su Liang composed herself before leaving the shop to pursue her dream guy. When she reached outside she saw him still on the phone. She stood at a distance away from him offering him privacy . She could feel the butterflies in the pit of her stomach when the guy finished his call and turned around gazing at her in surprise. As he walked towards her she looked down feeling embarrassed that she had exposed herself about how much she likes him.
"Hi,"Li Yunxi spoke in a casual tone.
"Hi,"She replied blushing really hard.
There was a slight lull in their conversation with Li Yunxi watching her blush relentlessly. If she was a girl he was interested in he would obviously find it cute but he didn't. She didn't give him sleepless nights or any wild thoughts that would make him bed her again.
"What did you want to say?"Li Yunxi finally broke the silence gazing coldly into her soft eyes.
"I know you already rejected me but I have hopes you'll accept me one day so I've decided I'm going to pur....,"
"Yunxi we'll be late for work,"Xiao Hui interrupted walking towards them but his solemn expression changed and his gaze softened seeing who Li Yunxi was talking to.
"Su meimei,hi."
"Hui-ge,hi ,"Su Liang bowed politely.
"I'm sorry I have to take him away but why don't you come see him at the club tonight?"Xiao Hui suggested.
"No need I will be quite busy at the club. I will text you to meet up,"Li Yunxi said and walked away. The last thing he wanted was to have a face to face conversation with the girl. Her stubbornness irritated him even more.

"What did he say?"Wei Nuo asked eagerly when her friend finally returned inside.
"He'll text me,"She revealed smiling.
"I hope it goes well,"Wei Nuo responded smiling as well.
"Me too."
