"huh, huh, huh, huh,"
"Down to the final quest, let me complete and finally exit this damn game."
A man clagge in black armor muttered, slashing away the blood stains on his daggers as he moved away from what seemed to be a black dragon corpse; its head completely severed from its body.
{Quest: slay the black dragon}
{Reward: 600000 black gold}
{Status: complete}
{Amount: 600000}
{Current balance: -100000 Black Gold}
"Thigh, I'm gonna get out of here and make sure I destroy this game. I'll make Bankrupt Online go bankrupt."
He paced on after closing the system interface on the game, walking out what seemed to be a dungeon as the black dragon corpse began to disintegrate turning into cubes of code. With his dagger vanishing in the same manner.

"Mark, it's go time."
A woman who seemed to be in her early twenties announced as she barged into a simple room in the slams.
The room only had a table at its center; a few used-up utensils lying on it. A bed lay in the corner of the room, it laying on the dirty ground that seemed like it hadn't been swept in weeks, and on it lay a young man who looked around the same age as the girl who walked in.
"Mark, let's go. The others are waiting."
She paced on, moving closer to the man who lay on the bed; pulling off the dirty blanket that covered him.
Feeling a little chilly since his body had been exposed to the cold weather of the night, he tossed around, slightly opening his eyes as he yawned and got up, looking at the woman, who had given herself a seat on his bed.
"Martha, what do you want in my room."
He said with a sleepy yet rude tone, expressing his dissatisfaction with the sleep.
The woman, now identified as Martha, had a fair complexion that was tainted by dirth and minor scars, proof of the fact that she was living a hard life. Even with them, she didn't look a tad less beautiful, her blue eyes, complemented by a small nose and cherry-colored lips giving her a very attractive appearance. Her smooth face with a flat chin and cheeks, baring long black hair that she had tied into a ponytail made her face a hot stop for men's attention when she walked around.
She stood an estimated height of 6'3 and wore a tarted geans with a long-sleeved jacket that mostly served the purpose of covering her scars.
"You are really a kill joy Martha, I was having the best dream ever."
Mark said as he got to his feet, picking up some dirty shorts and putting them on as Martha replied to his statement.
"You were dreaming of becoming rich again isn't that it."
Mark flashed a glance at her, his lips showing a small grin, proof that she had hit the jackpot.
"Typical, you'll never grow up and accept the reality. Thigh, so childish." She muttered beneath her voice, annoyed by Mark's dream.
"I'm done, let's go."
Mark said as he bottomed his dirty shirt that looked like a rag. She stood up and waited for him to finish as she turned to look at him afterward.
He had average facials, baring brown eyes, and a relatively bigger nose as compared to Martha with chocolate-colored lips that matched his complexion.
He stood an estimated height of 6'9 being slightly taller than Martha, as they both walked out of the door, closing it behind them as they left.

"Yoo guys! How ya doing!"
He said, waving to three people who stood in the distance.
"Hay, why is there one more person?"
He asked since his party normally comprised of four people.
"Mark, seriously, stop it with the childish acts, act a little mature for once. Can't you see we have a visitor? "
She muttered with an annoyed tone, lowering her head in shame.
" You always act like this Martha, but you know, that's who I am. I can't change. "He said, flashing a smile at her.
" Hmmm, you're hopeless. " She muttered.
They reached the party that stood awaiting them, exchanging weird greetings as the new person started to speak.
"Guys, today we're going on a big one. It's a CEO's house, I got everything mapped and planned out, all we do is enter, get the goods, and scram. Afterward, no more slams for us, we'll be living the big life. "
" Yeah, it's about time!"
" We're finally gonna leave this place!"
"... "
"... "
They said in cheering tones, expressing their thoughts about their current life in the slam.
With it being the year 2060, the world had developed immensely, the slams being the only places that didn't. All the buildings were on the brink of collapse with no electricity or clean water. It was like hell itself.
After giving their excited words, they gathered themselves and started moving towards a light source that cast its rays between two skyscrapers.
"Let's go, to a better life!"
One exclaimed, showcasing his pumped-up adrenaline for this mission.
Hence they stepped out of the dark slams into the light of the thriving city. Skyscrapers and holographic billboards could be seen from every corner, the city lit up in the darkness of the night, burning away the coldness that could be felt in the slams.
Since during that era, people who lived in the slams were considered trash amongst humans, they were treated as such. Hence dark glares and ill whispers could be heard emanating from the crowd as they walked, each of them bowing their head to avoid the flying insults.
After reaching a quick and empty street, a "Knock" sound echoed through the silence, but they didn't pay any attention to it as they kept their heads down, trying to avoid whatever that would be without making any fuss.
"Ah!"
Martha exclaimed, raising her head and turning towards her right.
"Martha, what's wrong?"
Mark asked upon seeing her sudden movement. She remained silent and continued to turn, seeing a child around the age of ten, standing at close range with a rock in his hand.
"Go away slam trash!"
He yelled as she threw the rock in his hand at Martha. She remained silent and lowered her head once again, not trying to cause any trouble as she knew it wasn't worth it.
The rest of them acted oblivious to it as well, excluding Mark who stepped up for her.
"Beat it, kid, didn't your parents teach you how to respect your elders!"
He exclaimed, trying to bottle up the real rage that welled up in his heart.
"Mark, no need to, we might get in trouble"
Martha spoke out, looking at Mark with tears welling up in her eyes. The child began to run, pretending to cry.
They returned to their quiet state and continued their walk as loud noises could be heard from the distance.
"Slam trash, how dare they lay a finger on a true citizen! Let's get them!"
People began to run out of the small crowd, each holding at least two stones. They began to throw it the them after getting in range.
Mark's group had no choice, and they began to run, some of the stones hitting them as they fled.
"Those slam trash, that will teach them a lesson."
