"This mortal... he wields the full power of the Immortal Realm. Even with our combined strength, we cannot overpower him," the dragon growled, smoke billowing from its nostrils.
The phoenix spread its wings, glowing even brighter.
"Then we fight to the end. For the temple. For the disciples."
They roared in unison, attacking with renewed vigor. The dragon charged forward, claws glowing with an ancient blue hue as it delivered a series of powerful swipes aimed at the Ancestor. The phoenix, from above, unleashed a massive burst of flame that descended like a falling star.
But the Ancestor merely laughed.
"Petty tricks," he snarled, unleashing a blazing vortex that consumed their attacks entirely. With a wave of his hand, chains of fire erupted from the ground, binding the dragon and the phoenix mid-attack.
The two struggled against the fiery chains, but the Ancestor's power was far too strong. He approached them, a victorious smirk on his face.

But before their argument could escalate further, the Ancestor summoned a massive flaming sword, its size dwarfing the battlefield.

The Ancestor unleashed a devastating surge of power. Flames roared to life, and in moments, Chen Franz's magnificent temple crumbled into ashes. The sight broke Lim Kris's spirit as she cried out,
"NOOOOOOOO!" Her voice, filled with grief, echoed across the battlefield.
The Ancestor turned to Lim Kris, now sensing an incredible energy within her. His gaze locked onto her chest the source of the Golden Heart of the Sea. A sinister grin spread across his face as he proclaimed,
"Such divine power... it will make the perfect Immortal Pill for me."
The injured sacred beasts, realizing his intent, surged forward, but the Ancestor easily repelled them with a single wave of his hand.
"Stay back, beasts. This treasure belongs to me!"
With a swift strike, he reached into Lim Kris's chest and forcibly extracted the Golden Heart. The unbearable pain wracked her body as she let out a heart-wrenching scream. Her once-glowing aura dimmed, and she collapsed to the ground.
Lim Kris's body trembled as her vision blurred. She struggled to breathe, her strength rapidly fading. Tears streaming down her face, she whispered silently to herself,
"Master... I've fallen in love with you... I'm sorry, this is where my journey ends."
The Ancestor of the Fire Clan held the Golden Heart aloft, its radiant glow illuminating the battlefield.
"This divine treasure will elevate me even beyond the heavens," he proclaimed, his laughter echoing across the desolate land.
