Chapter 37 - God of Time

Shiva's Hands

Class: Tier 3 Divine Gauntlets

Description: Shiva was born before time existed, such a thing was torturous for most. There was no worlds or realms to live upon, no corporeal forms, no spiritual forms, only the single knowledge one existed. So, Shiva created the flow of time, the arduous task was unprecedented, and with time, came worlds, realms, physical forms, and much more. Shiva was praised by the other Gods as their savior and became the King of Gods. Shiva has long lost their glory, nobody in the flow of time had offered even a thought since its creation. Such was the fate of the creator of time. Once Shiva completed the flow of time, Shiva became its sole ruler and was supposed to be forever so, until a pitiful boy sacrificed himself and earned the right to inherit Shiva's legacy, and now there are two supremes of time. 1 of 4.

'Pitiful?

Anyway, what does it mean there are two supremes of time, can I alter time how I see fit? Is there even any limits to this? And 1 of 4? This must be part of a full armor set, which means… there's probably more pieces here in the Trial or near where this was found.'

Hagan was perplexed and tried to imagine a God weaving time, but such a thing was beyond human mind capabilities. After a few moments he continued reading.

Enchantments: [Shiva's Legacy], [Beholder]

[Shiva's Legacy]: Your ability to use time is greatly enhanced. Your conscience exists outside of time whilst wearing the gauntlets.

[Beholder]: You can slightly alter time.

Hagan was dumbfounded.

Not only could he alter time, his mind was capable of being a separate entity from his body. Controlling time alone was an ultimate boon, but being able to exist outside of it was inconceivable.

Hagan had decided he would ponder on the gauntlets full capabilities at a later time, right now he needed information.

"Excuse me, sir? Would you be able to tell me where exactly these gauntlets were found? I'm interested if anything else could be uncovered."

The auctioneer turned around and was silent for a moment, thinking.

"I could but…"

Hagan reached into his time pocket and pulled out a small bag of gold coins he'd snatched from the three thugs who'd tried to rob him.

"Ah. I remember now. It was east of the capital, roughly 5 kilometers outside the city, deep in the woods, a large wooden building that was decaying was discovered. These were found inside laying atop an altar. Oh and remember this little demon, you didn't hear this from me."

Hagan turned and grinned under his mask. He looked toward a blurry figure who was standing nearby.

"Looks like we're going on a field trip, Promised."

Hagan then looked down at his shadow, barely visible, there was the silhouette of an unearthly beast with terrifying claws, sharp and intelligent eyes, and a quit, deep growl leaving its maw.

Raaz walked up behind Hagan and put a hand in his shoulder.

"Alright. I assume we're both done so let's get going, I'm dying to get some sleep."
