When Hagan arrived at his new classroom which was only a few doors down from Professor Lane, he knocked on the door and opened it. The class had about eight other students who Hagan didn't bother to pay attention to, the teacher paused in the middle of her sentence and looked towards Hagan.
The Professor looked about thirty, she had blonde hair that was tied into a bun, green eyes, a set of sunglasses were resting on her hairline, she wore small earrings and had a gold ring that was adorned with a diamond.
Behind her on the board, there were some words that were scribbling down, barely legible, on the left side. On the right was multiple names, God of The Skies, God of Time, God of The Sea, King Graham, Prince Noah, and Lee.
"Who are you supposed to be young man?"
"I'm Hagan. I just signed up for the class. Sorry I'm late, first day."
"Well, welcome Hagan, don't be late again. I'm Professor Valeria, just call me Professor V."
Hagan walked toward an empty chair and was greeted by a few curious student, he responded with a wave and a nod. Once he was seated however, he heard a familiar female voice whisper into his ear.
"The Gods are commending you, the Gods smile at you from beyond."
Hagan knew this was the same female voice from the first trial when he climbed atop the stone altar. He was quite shocked to hear her voice again, especially outside the Trial. Hagan hesitated, then raised his hand.
"Yes, Hagan?"
"Could you explain who exactly tho Gods you have listed on the board are?"
Professor V smiled and nodded.
"The God of The Skies had many talents, she was an amazing archer, noted to have never missed a shot, even while flying through the sky, she always struck true. Her real name was lost with time, just all the other Gods were, but it is believed that if anyone discoveres a Gods real name, they would inherit their power.
It's said that the God of The Skies is more revered and absolute than the other Gods, the natives of the Trial's realm seemed to hold her in a higher regard for some unknown reason."
Hagan sat deep in thought as he ingested what the professor explained.
Hagan thought that if he could manage to look into the Gods , not only would he gain godly power, he could also gain clues at to who exactly "…" was. For all Hagan knew he could have not even been a God, rather a Devil. He could have been someone who managed to discover the Gods true names but was killed, and since he inherited the power of a God, he was able to ascend into Godhood when Hagan offered himself as a sacrifice.
Hagan had a multitude of things to learn, practice, and investigate not only with the Gods, but with his personal prowess. He needed combat training deadly if he wished to survive in the Second Trial.
He would need to challenge it within 45 days so he had some time to prepare. He also needed to figure out exactly how fast he could adapt to combat with different weapons.
