Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: One last chance.

Sophia was starting to feel uncomfortable, her eyes darting around the unfamiliar surroundings of the American airport. She had just arrived, and the last thing she wanted was trouble. She turned to Rachel, who was sitting calmly beside her, and tried to drag her arm, signaling for her to stand up.

But to Sophia's surprise, Rachel gently jerked her hand free from Sophia's grip and firmly pulled her back down into the chair. Sophia's eyes widened in alarm as she looked at Rachel, wondering what she was doing. Was she asking for trouble? The men standing in front of them looked like they weren't to be trifled with.

Sophia whispered urgently to Rachel, "What are you doing?" Her concern was palpable.

Rachel nodded slightly, her eyes locked on the men in front of them, signaling to Sophia to stay calm.

But Sophia was confused. She had been willing to give up their seats and find another chair, but Rachel's actions seemed to suggest she was ready to take a stand. Sophia feared that Rachel's stubbornness might trigger more drama.

The men watching the scene unfold were surprised by Rachel's boldness. One of the bodyguards, his face reddening with anger, shouted, "Are you deaf? Didn't you hear my boss ask you two to stand up and find another chair?"

The bodyguards of the young man, Coby, were starting to feel annoyed. Normally, they would have kicked Sophia and Rachel out with force, but this was an airport, and they didn't want to attract unnecessary attention.

Coby himself was starting to lose his cool, his eyes narrowing as he took a step forward. But before he could say anything, Rachel spoke up, her voice firm and commanding.

"Leave here now, or else things might get worse for all of you," she warned, her eyes flashing with a hint of steel.

Bang! Rachel's words struck the air like a challenge, leaving everyone within earshot stunned. Passersby stopped in their tracks, their eyes fixed on Rachel as if they couldn't believe what they had just heard. The bodyguards were equally shocked, their faces frozen in a mixture of anger and surprise.

The atmosphere around them seemed to freeze, the only sound the soft hum of the airport's machinery. Sophia's eyes were fixed on Rachel, wondering what she had just gotten herself into.

The little crowd that had gathered to watch the drama unfold could sense the tension escalating. Those who knew Coby's background started to discreetly slip away, not wanting to be implicated in the impending confrontation. Even Coby himself was seething with anger, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity.

Nobody had ever crossed him before, and Rachel's words were like a slap to his face. Sophia, standing beside Rachel, was the most surprised of all. She didn't know much about Rachel, and they had just met, so she didn't want to interrupt just yet.

"Boss, let's just finish them," one of the bodyguards shouted, breaking the silence. Coby turned to him, his eyes narrowing.

"They're just innocent girls, and it seems they don't know me," he said, his voice low and even. As he spoke, he turned back to Rachel and Sophia, still seated on the chair.

"I'll give you both one last chance to stand up and leave this place immediately," he warned, his voice stern and calm. He was furious inside, but he wanted to avoid a scene in public.

Rachel didn't even let his words sink in before she spoke again, her voice firm and defiant. "And I'm giving you one last chance to leave this place, you and your goons. We were here first, and we're not going anywhere."
