Chapter 3 - The Soul and Emotions

One of the most misunderstood creations by mortals, yet fundamentally important, is the Soul. Though the Creators are perfect, they chose to create something intentionally imperfect: the Soul. The Soul was designed to lack the infinite perfection of the Creators, its primary purpose being the pursuit of perfection over time. Unlike the Creators, souls are finite. This finitude makes them incomplete, incapable of attaining the infinite knowledge and power of the Creators. Yet, in their imperfection lies their perfection, as their limitations enable them to learn, evolve, and change across infinite cycles.

When a soul is freed from its physical form, it begins a process of purification. Throughout this process, the soul sheds all its imperfections in its pursuit of perfection. However, as souls strive for purity, they produce a byproduct: emotions. Emotions are an inherent residue of the soul's finite nature. Unlike the Creators, who are devoid of emotions, souls were designed to feel and experience, making each cycle unique and dynamic.

Though imperfect and often destructive, emotions play a crucial role in the cycle of creation. They drive souls to act, move, and change. Without emotions, souls could neither learn nor grow. Yet, this emotional residue also gives rise to many conflicts across the universes, as the interactions between emotionally driven souls create an endless series of unpredictable events that, in turn, lead to the creation of new universes.
