Aaron headed straight to the study, his mind heavy with concerns. He studied the map of the south, now flooded from the recent heavy rain. The flooding would be difficult to manage, and he agreed with General Sam's assessment that if they were to head to Jenal City, which had been overrun by bandits, they needed to act swiftly.
After tomorrow's inspection, they would leave the day after. While Aaron wanted to stay in the capital with Ace, duty called. He had to navigate the obstacles and twists laid out by the original plot. In the original story, the bandits had kidnapped John, sparking Stephen's fury and forcing the Crown Prince to go after him personally.
"System, is this how the world is supposed to be?" Aaron couldn't help but question it. Everything felt off. The world seemed out of order, especially when the protagonist was an evil, scheming John. Every character in the plot seemed shrouded in mystery. Only by uncovering the truths about everyone involved could Aaron hope to understand what was truly going on.
"It shouldn't," the system replied. "Due to the arrival of viruses, these worlds have fallen into the wrong plot. There are always loopholes that people like John can exploit to advance. They're not suited for their current roles. To set things right, we must gather souls and exchange benefits with them."
Aaron nodded thoughtfully. "I thought so too. One more question, is this world real?"
"It is," the system confirmed. "Every story has a beginning and an end. Novels are worlds in themselves. We, the systems, are created to oversee them. These worlds exist to help lost souls and provide a place for others to maintain them. The points collected from these worlds help souls return to the reincarnation cycle. But not everyone can participate. Only those chosen can enter these planes."
Aaron didn't ask further questions, waving his hand. In an instant, the system vanished. His thoughts, however, remained focused on the people in this world. If they followed the original plot, the flood in Jenal City would claim countless lives. The people there were reluctant to leave, and they would perish when the flood hit. Additionally, with John's kidnapping, the entire army and officials would be consumed by the search for him, throwing the entire plan off course.
"This time, maybe the outcome will be different from the last. The people are moved by the official with no intervention from Jon and," Aaron said under his breath, recalling Ace's flush and lustful look. With his face turning red, Aaron recalled in his mind the sexy voice of Ace, making himself take a deep breath.
"It's bad. I have to do something." Something so to distract my mind from the gutter. He never knew he was this obsessed with coupling. They did all day long and even after this he still felt an erection in his lower part. 'If this is not insane, then what? Oh!! God!! I'm going crazy!!' his heart screamed.
He sat on the chair, making himself think about the plotting of the story and nothing. He tried several times but failed, at last, he took a cold shower and again sat in his study room. Feeling calm and normal again, he took the chance and jumped his brain into the plot line.
In the original plot, John hadn't been in the capital until the final banquet. He had stayed with his maternal grandfather, the youngest of his siblings, showered with the most affection. His older brother and sister had already settled down, and none of them played a part in the story from start to finish. It seemed safe to assume they would remain silent, as always. If the plot followed its original course, Stephen would likely be somewhat obsessed with John by now. But this time, Stephen and John hadn't even interacted, leaving little to no chance for that connection to form.
Aaron narrowed his eyes, a cold glint flashing in them. But if people like the King and Queen get involved, the plot could change again.
The world consciousness had adjusted to this new setting for quite some time, making it possible for other characters to influence the course of events. The King and Queen had a good relationship with the Right Minister and held a favorable view of John. This was why no one had stopped Stephen from going to rescue John by himself in the original plot.
Aaron knew he had to inspect the army tomorrow and head to Jenal the day after, hoping to keep John out of the situation. If the story didn't shift, John would reappear five days later. Until then, Aaron could control the course of events. If everything went according to plan, it would be easier to handle. There wouldn't be any kidnappings, and Ace wouldn't have to step in to rescue John. The outcome would be manageable, and he could divert twenty percent of the plot's course. Even if John showed up tomorrow, Aaron was determined not to let him join them again.
Aaron's gaze sharpened as he studied the mountainous region on the map. He quickly scribbled a note and called for Jerry, who was standing outside. "Send this to General Sam and ensure he reviews it."
Jerry nodded, his speed unmistakable as he dashed away. Aaron couldn't help but smile slightly. Jerry was always swift when it came to work, though he slowed down only when dealing with his sister, Jenny. The sibling pair brought a sense of warmth to Aaron, so different from the coldness of his own past.
He sighed, his mind drifting back to the painful memories of his previous life. Every moment, every hardship was etched into his memory. He could never forget. With a heavy heart, he closed his eyes, and before he knew it, exhaustion claimed him. He fell asleep in the chair, the weight of his thoughts finally giving way to rest.

Meanwhile, Ace was delving into Aaron's past life, his eyes scanning the details with a cold intensity. His system, ever obedient and fearful of him, had been more than willing to comply with his demands today. Ace's fierce temperament had left little room for argument.
The little fluffy ball trembled in fear, her small dispute with him barely lasting a moment before she gave in and hurriedly fled, terrified that her host might take drastic action. But before running off, she made sure to open the domain for Ace. As he browsed through it, his expression darkened with a frosty anger, one capable of making anyone tremble in fear.
He had anticipated a harsh life, but the truth of Aaron's past was far more opaque and painful than he could have ever expected.
Aaron had average facial looks, but his sharp gazes and strong aura were unbeatable. Even if his look is not that good, Ace still cannot ignore his rapid heartbeat. It is beating faster than before.
His gentle smile and polite way of talking are so cute. Later Ace saw him being manipulated by his siblings. From the start, he knew everything but still willingly stepped head. His eyes were lifeless not like how Ace saw him here. Aaron never once resisted their bullies not because he couldn't but because he didn't want to live anymore.
His Aaron lived like a servant and even died for those monsters. He was utilized till his demise. Ace's face darkened due to anger. I will make them pay so hard that they will demand dead. They dare to hurt a person like this. I will make sure that they will perish in the worst way possible.
But his expression changed with the change in the projection.
The last scene was his death. A very saddening yet peaceful suicide. He was sobered and the drug didn't have any effect on him. Yet he stepped up each stairs and behind him were his sisters and brothers snickering.
This scene made Ace angry and he without any thought screamed. He screamed, "You can't jump from that height. You will get hurt. Come down. Don't do it, please. Aaron, please don't do it."
He was pleading. But the person in the protection can't hear him. Aaron didn't wait for anyone to do anything and jumped down from the top floor. His body was a thud on the road. His head was smashed and his whole body was dyed in red. Ace was shocked and his mind went blank for a moment. He cried and saw him breathing for the last time. Ace was desperately hoping to see him alive. He waited for a long time, but the figure didn't move.
After a while, a deep, primal urge stirred within him, like a hungry beast. Aaron was his lover, and no one had the right to harm him. No one. He reassured himself that Aaron was safe now. I'll never let him suffer again. I'll never leave him. We'll be together, always, until my last breath.
Sweat dripped from his brow as he gazed at the figure before him, the person who had never woken up again. The sight of Aaron, still and peaceful, caused his heart to ache with a raw intensity. His long golden hair clung damply to his skin, and his eyes glowed with a fierce, scarlet anger.
The fluffy system, seeing Ace's distress, quickly used some points to clean up the scene. She couldn't help but speak up, "Host, don't dwell on the past. You can't change it by thinking this way. Once you collect enough points, you'll be able to go back with him and rewrite everything."
Ace took a deep breath, nodding as he grounded himself again. "You're right. I was overreacting." The fluffy system nodded in agreement before vanishing into the vortex.
Ace leaned back, a sense of calm settling over him. Right, he thought, Aaron is with me now, an immortal soul, just like me.
He will revenge on every one of them. Those filthy people, none of them deserve to live. His love, Aaron will be at peace with him. Thinking this he took a hot bath and laid down on his bed. Yet his heart denied resting.
That person should live a good and happy life. He deserves to be cared for. Just thinking about the man who was with him till a moment ago can make his heart flutter. That person wearing a black robe has long black hair and a tall figure, making him look majestic.
He sucked that person's rosy lips, licked the whole bronze-colored body, and rolled in the hay, so hard that the decisive general moaned uncontrollably. His rough moaning makes him want to do more. As if his lust for him is never-ending. He could not extract himself from Aaron. Holding the strong yet slim waist, he pushed himself within his hot inside. With the feeling of searing and tightness around his thing, he trembled with excitement. The sensation was too good to describe that he ended up moaning too.
Feeling his erection, Ace swore again and again. He did till he wanted a moment ago, and now he wants more If Aaron knew about this, what would he think? It's so embarrassing.
Wait, does he also feel the same way as I do? I want to hear, him admit that he yearns to do it with me. Slowly recalling the day with Aaron, he went to take a bath again. Soaking into the water he was again into Aaron.
The night grew deeper, and he could not control himself the next morning and went to see Aaron.
