Eventually, the ominous presence vanished. The two breathed a sigh of relief as the tension dissipated.
"So, it seems like we will spend some time together, Silva."
"It would appear so, Alan." She bit into the meat.
"It might sound weird but where are we... exactly."
"Well, we are in the heart of Darkwood, which borders the human barony of Langwald. I won't ask why you don't know that." She shrugged. "My Mirium Forest is on the other side of the barony but I have an alchemy shop inside Langwald."
The two conversed for a bit longer, with the comforting crackling of wood, droplets of rain falling down around them and moonlight shyly peeking through the trees, exhaustion washed over them, sending both of them into dreamland.
Alan was floating in space, following a similar to him man. Looking around, he saw oddly recognizable classroom with classmates that he could, for some reason, name. Eventually his and the familiar man's eyesight landed on a beautiful girl that walked into the room. She smiled at the man beside Alan and waved at him.
Feeling the sudden, overwhelming sensation of jealousy and negativity surrounding him, Alan woke up, the purple eyes of that girl vividly bouncing in his memory.
The never ending rain seemingly stopped and a couple of sunrays were penetrating thick forest crowns.
Alan saw the elf girl still asleep, he approached her, curiosity overtook him.
Her facial features were very sharp, attractive. Smooth skin, glistening with few drops of rain sliding across her cheeks, strands of strawberry blond hair clinging to her red lips and blue eyes, dangerous and open?
"I know I am pretty but buy me a dinner first." She chuckled, slowly getting up. Alan was flustered, he stood up and turned around, appearing to pack his stuff.
"If we go that way we should be following the trail, it will lead us to the main road, it's much safer than being here." Silva pointed in a seemingly random direction. "Once we get to a town I will help you acquire ID card, since I assume you don't have one." She chuckled, winking at Alan seductively.
"We can talk about my payment after that." Silva traced her finger across her red lips.
'No, stay down!' Alan mentally scolded his second head, in his pants, as it was waking up.
"Now come on big boy, protect me". She chuckled while entering the darkwoods once more.
The duo knelt down in front of a small mushroom patch. The odd thing was that the mushrooms were glowing blue.
"Ah, now I actually need these." A sickle appeared in her hand, scavenged from the dead bodies they found while traversing Darkwoods.
"Aoi Repandum, it's one of the main ingredients in making a stamina potions." Silva very skilfully gathered all of the mushrooms while Alan was keeping watch. It was a monumental task, as Silvas ass was in his sights at all times, his younger brother was active.
'She looks great in those leather tights...'
"All done! Hello? Let's move." She smirked, shaking her ass while going ahead. To be fair there wasn't a lot for her to shake as she was quite lean and appeared somewhat fit. Alan faintly noticed a sweet smell in the air but he attributed it to the mushrooms.
For once it seemed like luck was on their side as for most of their journey, it was free of dangers, except the very creepy atmosphere. Few days have passed with Alan being tempted at every corner, his willpower to rein in his little brother was slowly faltering.
"And this is limegrass, it's great for keeping an erection going." She whispered dangerously close to his ear, her hot breath tingling his ears.
Silva turned her head to the side. "Quick, get up on the tree!" She swiftly whispered while pushing Alan towards the closest tree. Confused but willing to trust her, Alan did his best. It was a little awkward, since his armour was a bit cumbersome, but he eventually managed to get to a respectable height.
Just in time too as a pack of heavily mutated dogs ran through this part of the woods. One of said dogs circled around the tree that Alan and Silva were hiding on but eventually, as if loosing interest, the dog re-joined it's pack.
"These are mad dogs, only senior alchemists can deal with them since they are very violent but their cum is valuable addition to many potions!" She explained as the two were climbing down.
'Interesting... wait did she just say cum? I misheard... probably.'
"Lets keep going Mr. Merc." Silva winked at him.
He rubbed his head as it was slightly spinning but Alan marched on, they had to be close to safety, right?
Few more hours passed as sun was slowly vanishing behind the horizon but the duo stumbled onto a cobbled road and lit torches alongside it.
"Finally! This, my little mercenary, is a main road that goes through Darkwoods and towards Langwald. Now we can take it easy, there are soldiers patrolling this area, so stop tensing so much." She jokingly punched his shoulder.
"Ah! Here you go, before I forget. If you end up staying, visit my shop, I can give you... a vip treatment." She winked while handing him a small card.
Alan inspected it. It had beautiful, nearly magical handwriting on it. Belvederes Alchemy, Silva. 5th desire street, Langwald.
"Actually, I will just take you to my shop, I can sense you have a little bit of predisposition for magic. Also, I can introduce you to someone that can teach you swordsmanship. Am I not great?" She twirled her long blond hair.
"Yes, thank you but what do I owe you? This sounds too good to be true." His eyes narrowed slightly. Confused at feeling strong attraction towards this elf, that he barely controlled.
She sneakily looked down at his lower armour. "Well, don't worry about it. You should be happy that someone as influential as me is willing to help you! It feels like you just appeared out of thin air sometimes." She grumbled.
The two chatted about various things as they walked towards slowly approaching stone, town walls.
