Synopsis

Auxiliary Skill

(Note: I wrote this auxiliary chapter to delve deeper into Glenn's abilities and clarify his incredible aim and balance, avoiding confusion. This is Glenn's special skill, which has been part of him since the first chapter, although he is unaware of it and hasn't fully explored it yet. He woke up from the "dream" before understanding the "auxiliary skill available," but over time, he begins to notice subtle changes in himself, beyond the skills granted by the dream.

I've only watched the first episode of the series Alphas, but I came across this skill in a CYOA and liked the idea. I decided to adapt it to a more "human" level, without exceeding the laws of physics. Glenn will have impressive reflexes, exceptional acrobatic abilities, and almost superhuman accuracy, similar to Deadshot in Suicide Squad or the Jackal in The Day of the Jackal.)

Hyperkinetic - Peak Human Level

Glenn represents the absolute pinnacle of human potential when it comes to motor coordination, reflexes, precision, and balance. His brain, muscles, and senses work in perfect harmony, allowing him to achieve feats that seem impossible to most people, while still remaining within the boundaries of human physiology.

- Main Abilities -

Exceptional Balance:

Glenn possesses an impeccable sense of balance and can remain stable on narrow surfaces, such as building ledges, ropes, or logs, even while in motion. He adjusts his posture almost instantly to prevent falls or compensate for sudden changes in terrain.

Elite Precision:

Glenn can aim with near-perfect accuracy in favorable conditions, rivaling world-class marksmen. His ability to calculate angles, force, and trajectory allows him to hit moving targets with incredible consistency, whether using firearms, throwing objects, or striking in close combat.

Quick Reflexes:

Glenn's reflexes are at the limit of human capability. He reacts almost instantly to visual, auditory, and tactile stimuli. He can dodge punches, block unexpected blows, and avoid thrown objects, provided the distance and timing allow for a realistic physical response.

Advanced Motor Control:

Glenn has absolute control over his movements, making them precise and efficient. He performs acrobatics with the skill of an Olympic gymnast and executes delicate tasks, such as disassembling and reassembling small devices, with extreme ease.

Instant Adaptation:

Glenn can adjust his physical and motor strategies in the heat of the moment, quickly adapting to new situations like a highly trained martial artist or athlete. In combat, this means he can reposition efficiently, evade attacks, and use the environment to his advantage.

-Limitations and Challenges:-

Dependence on the Laws of Physics:

Despite his incredible skills, Glenn is still bound by gravity, physical strength, and the limits of human endurance. He cannot perform movements that require force or speed beyond what the human body can achieve.

Physical Fatigue:

Glenn still tires, although he has greater stamina than most. Extreme or prolonged efforts can exhaust his body like any other human.

Adverse Conditions:

External factors such as poor lighting, muffled sounds, or intense distractions can impair his effectiveness, as he still relies on normal, though enhanced, human senses.

Limited Speed:

His reflexes and movements are incredibly fast, but they are still constrained by the maximum capacity of the human nervous system (approximately 0.2 seconds to react to visual stimuli).

...

Summary:

This version of the power represents the peak of Glenn's abilities as a human being. He is like a blend of elite marksmen, Olympic gymnasts, and legendary martial artists, pushing his motor skills, reflexes, and precision to the highest level possible for a human.
