It was about midday with the sun blazing and hot air blowing. There was not even a single cloud in the sky, just an endless blue horizon. Even taking a breath was hard as the heat seemed to melt the lungs. Even with these conditions the school still had people working outside picking up trash and scraping away stains left by the kids. It seemed to be the weekend as not many people were present at the school.
Amidst all the calm there was a girl with long brown wavy hair with tips slightly brighter than the rest and bright emerald green eyes running hand and hand with a boy smaller than her, the boy had black hair and brown eyes. The taller girl running, turned her head back to look at the smaller boy and said with gasps in between her words "where… is your..classroom Jay?". Jay, taking a minute to stop and pull on his sister's jacket, bent over with his hands on his knees breathing heavily and said "it's not that far from here, but can we please stop for a moment? I need to catch my breath."
"No" said the older sister "we are already late and you know how important this is" she finally stops and looks at her brother who is red in the face and sweating bullets. She sighs and then said "we can walk the rest of the way, we're not that far….Right?". Jay's eyes quickly look up and he began to shake his head wildly. "Yes, it's just up ahead behind that corner through the hallway" said Jay grabbing his sister's arm, leading the way with quick steps.
He turned the corner passing by a stone rock in the shape of a square with sharp edges that children sit on at lunch or on breaks. The older sister looked at it with a concerned look on her face as she thought -why is there something like this in a high school?- before shaking her head and continued to follow her younger brother. They quickly arrived at the door to the hallway and the older sister then said "why is there a random hallway not connected to a building here?" Looking at her brother who had his hand on the doorknob.
"I don't know, it's always been here" said Jay as he opened the door letting a gust of cool air rush into my face, I smiled at the sensation and quickly stepped inside before closing the door. "Man it's still hot but better than out there" I said closing my eyes and fanning my face. Jay with a sigh and was also fanning his face said "ya it's like heaven in here". I chuckled then looked at him and said "so~ what door is your classroom?"
He stoped then looked at the many doors in the hallway and quickly pointed to the one in the middle and said "it's that one over there in the middle". I smiled then said "ok let's go then, we're already late" as I began walking towards the door.
Jay nodded and quickly jogged to catch up as we entered the classroom. The meeting began as usual and ended later than expected. I checked my watch every few minutes when the meeting began to drag on and was beginning to become nervous. I had an interview for a job after this and I still needed to go home and change. As soon as the meeting ended I said my goodbyes and said my apologies for my rushed behavior before grabbing Jay's hand and running out the door.
Jay quickly said "what's wrong? Why are we running?" As he tried to keep up. "I have an interview at 5 and it's 4:30 right now" I said as I ran towards where we came from. Jay didn't say anything after that and we just ran to the car. I quickly turned the corner dodging the square rock and continued to run. When I was almost at the parking lot I saw another one of those rocks that I had not seen before when I was running to the classroom.
I stumbled in my shock and fell face first toward the edge of the rock. "Eh" was the only thing I said as I fell, hitting my head as a deafening crack sound came from my head. I was shocked and in pain as I slid to the floor with warm liquid flowing from my head. Everything felt blurry and distant as I heard my brother's muffled shriek before everything fell into darkness.
I was soon jolted awake only to find myself in a dark space. I was shocked and frantically began to search for Jay "JAY" I called looking from side to side. "You here?" My voice cracked when I called again as I grabbed my legs trembling. -Why does it have to be so dark- I thought squinting my eyes to try to see further. The room then began to have white spots apear as they gradually began eating the dark before everything was white.
I was stunned and thought -well now it's too bright, it would be better if it was a light blue or something- and the room again began to change into a light blue. -what the…- I thought -can I control this room?-. I began to seriously look at the room then thought -I want to room to be hot pink- and to my amazement the room became hot pink.
-wow that's so cool- I thought before a light green screen appeared before me. It came without notice and jump scared me. I looked at the light green screen as dark green words began to appear on it.

I was stunned -what the? What emotional turmoil can I possibly have- I thought before a scene flashed before my eyes. -that's right. I'm dead, my brother saw me die, will he be ok?- my thoughts became rapid before i suddenly was enveloped in a green glow and calmed down faster than I could ever imagine. -is this what that screen meant when it said it will calm my emotional turmoil?- I thought looking at the screen again. The words began to fade as new ones took its place.

I was again stunned as the words began to fade away again leaving a search bar and many species names under neath it, each name has a picture of the creature above it. There was foxes, dogs, and every the option to be human again. I began to ponder and thought -do they have dragons?- as I thought this I reached for the search bar and tapped it. As I did this the screen flashes and a translucent keyboard appeared in front of me. The keyboard was a light green in color and had a dark green light around all its keys, not letting any of them touch.
I stared in fascination and then began to type. I was sitting criss cross apple sauce flouting in the air as I pressed {ENTER}. The words on the screen then disappeared replaced with a loading circle that was continuously moving. After a minute or two of waiting the screen flashes again and I was immediately taken aback at the number of dragon species that were shown.

On the side was a scroll bar and above that was a number. The number shown was {13,637,967 species found}. I smiled wildly as I began to scroll the screen down. I then clicked on a dragon that was gold in color and without wings that was wrapping around a tree with the name shown as {GOLDEN EASTERN DRAGON} below it
When I clicked on it the screen began to load again but almost as quickly as it appeared it disappeared showing the dragon's information.

These dragons are often found on mountains and have to ability to fly even without wings. This species sometimes eats its own kin but they have a kinder or indifferent nature to other creatures. These creatures mate for life and will choose to die with their partners. There are many different kinds of them such as the BLUE EASTERN DRAGON and the RED EASTERN DRAGON.}}
I pressed the X button on the top left and this lead me back to the dragon search log. I then thought -hmm, I would like to have wings and I want to be fast- so I quickly scrolled up and pressed the search bar again. The keyboard again appeared in front of me and I began to type {FAST FLYING DRAGON WITH WINGS} and pressed {ENTER}. The screen began to lead again before the dragons appeared again. I quickly looked at how many dragons there were and chuckle to my self.
The screen said {37,967 species found}. -wow- I thought as I looked at the drastic degrease in the number of dragons. "Well then let's see what you have for me" I said out loud with a hum in my voice. I began to scroll, clicking on dragon after dragon and reading there information before clicking off and continuing. -I want a cute dragon- I thought as I kept scrolling.
Before long I found a relatively cute dragon that was black in color and read its description.

About the species
Night Furies are black dragons with large, visible scales, and are known for being fierce, fast, and dominant in the sky. They are a nocturnal species that have retractable teeth, and their bodies are durable, tough, and fireproof. They have jet-like wings and sleek body's allowing them to fly at supersonic speeds, faster than any other dragon apart from the Light Fury. This dragon much like the light fury has a cloaking ability, but instead of using their plasma blast they use lightning, although the effect is the same it takes more energy to accomplish. A Night Fury will use its teeth as makeshift fishing hooks to grab onto prey before swallowing it whole. They have many abilities, including stealth, camouflage, and plasma blasts. It is considered to be the most intelligent of all the known dragons.}}
-oooh- I thought as I quickly pressed the X button and went to the search bar and typed {NIGHT FURY/ LIGHT FURY} and pressed {ENTER}. The screen again began to load but this time it was much faster than before. When it was done loading the screen said {2 species found}. I was exited and quickly picked the light fury and the screen again began to load

About the species
The Light Fury is a member of the strike class of dragons, which are known for their speed, strength, intelligence, and accuracy. The light fury have scales that are perfectly layered together making the body appear smooth. When hit by light, the Light Fury's scales scatter the light instead of reflecting it, making it difficult to see. This species has a cloaking ability that is similar to the night fury's, when light fury's pass through their plasma blast their skin heats up which causes their scales to have a mirror like quality making them practically disappear. This subspecies can fly as fast as Night Fury's, has the same stamina, and can fire oxygen plasma charges and settling charges. The pale white bodies or glitter-like mirror scale of Light Furies allow them to easily blend in with clouds and the sky in a similar way that Night fury's blend in with the night. }}
"Ow wow, they are cool AND fast" I said pressing the X button and returning to the fury dragon page. "Now which one do I choose?" I said looking at the two dragons. "Hmmmmm, well I don't want to be a subspecies and the night fury looks cooler" I said looking at the night fury and clicking it. I scrolled to the bottom of the page and saw a button saying {CHOOSE}.
Without hesitation I clicked the button and the screen again began to load before two options appeared.
{MALE} OR {FEMALE}
I wanted to see the difference between them just to see. I already knew what gender I would be anyway. I clicked {MALE} and a black dragon with a blue tint appeared before me. It looked cool as it was sitting on its hind legs almost like a human. I chuckled then clicked {FEMALE} and the dragon got a bit bigger but not too much bigger, the female looked to be less then an inch taller than the male. I chuckled and continued to observe, they looked similar but the female was a bit slimmer. "Nice" I said before clicking between the two to see if I could find any more differences before clicking on {FEMALE} again and pressing {NEXT}.
The screen then began to load and a number line appeared next and there was a picture of the female night fury above it. I moved the dot back to the start and the night fury turned into a pitch black egg with some lighter blue speckled spots on it then I moved It all the way to 300+ and my night fury grow and became old with warn wings and long spikes. I was shocked at the transformation but found it cool before scrolling to the age of 18. -this should be good- I thought before pressing {NEXT} and the screen again began to load.
What appeared next was a customization screen. I was exited as I loved customizing things. I quickly began to shift and look through everything, taking in the colored and the possibilities. It took about 5-6 hours for me to be satisfied with my creation. The creature I had colored had a dark blue hue and a slick black body, It had mint colored eyes. Under the wings there were millions of blue dotes neatly arranged to look like the constellations, there were even some small lines connecting the dots to make the constellations, I tried my best to copy it from memory. The underside of the tail fins also had the same blue spots and small thin lines of different constellations.
I was very proud of my work as I admired it while spinning the dragon around. I was happy and then looked at the {DONE} button on the bottom right hand corner. Just before I tapped the button my hand froze. -what about my brother? Can I just move on like this after I had scared him for life?- I thought before a green light again enveloped me, I felt better but was still hesitant. I then began to look at the green screen more carefully, I began looking at the corners and every inch of the page. Before long I found something on the top right corner. It was lighter than the other words and almost blinded into the light green background.
The text was {ADD CLAN MEMBERS}. I was shocked but still elated and quickly pressed the button. The screen then began to load, replacing my dragon with a search bar and had {0/23 MEMBERS FOUND} right under the search bar. I wasted no time and quickly pressed the search bar as the keyboard appeared in front of me again. I began to type my brother's name {JAY} and pressed {ENTER}, the screen again began to load the results came out. {73,594,267 people found} was there in the same format as when I was choosing my dragon species. The people had names under their pictures and when you press on them they give you their information, the pictures were mostly all of the elderly. I soon realized that I needed to put his full name if I wanted to find him. I hit my head with my palm and went back to the top of the screen and clicked on the search bar again.
