ALICIA'S POV
'Wake up!! Everyone wakes up! Time to get ready for school, "said Matron Betty. I felt like my whole world was falling apart. I hate waking up. I'm kind of a heavy sleeper. I enjoy sleeping more than anything. I guess I have to get ready to go to that hell hole I call school. I'm sure you are wondering why I hate school. Well, let me just say I'm a less fortunate one, and I'm different.
I'm Alicia. I was raised at an orphanage, and I don't know who my parents are since I was found in the woods with a pendant engraved 'S' when I was 3 years old other than that, I don't know anything about my parents. I'm light skinned a bit tan with white eyes and blonde hair. I would say I have different features some people don't have. I'm slim and petite. I'm a wolf less wolf. When I turned 16 years old, a few years back, I was supposed to get my wolf, which I didn't, so I got bullied for it by other werewolves. And guess what? Tomorrow, I'm turning 18 years old. I'm just hoping that I find my mate. Maybe he will save me from this misery since no one loves me, and I only have one friend her name is Emily, and she is also an orphan. I share the room with her. We have been friends since I was 9 years old her whole family was killed by the Rouges when she was 7 years old, then she was moved to the orphanage when she was 9 years old. So basically we are the same age.
I went in the shower and I realised that the hot water was finished. I hate this place. I can't believe it, now I have to shower with cold water. It was difficult, but I had to. I then went back to my room to get dressed. I wore a maxi long skirt with a long sleeve t-shirt that is a crop-top. Then I tied my hair a bun with a side-swop. As I check the time,"Damn, I'm late." And Emily already left. I guess I will see her when I go to class since we have the same class in the morning. I quickly ran downstairs outside and took a mountain bike since the school bus left me, and school is a bit far it's like a 30-minute walk. Me walking it can never be me.
I got to school. I was 10 minutes late, but I didn't care less since I knew I was going to face detention. I'm kind of used to this life it doesn't seem to amaze me much now. I entered the hallway and I made my way to the class as I opened the door Mr Ace was busy with his lesson as he stopped and looked at me as I entered. Mr Ace, 'If it isn't Alicia, you are always late in my class', Alicia," I was...." as I was about to explain why I was late I got cut off by Jessica the famous drama queen and the packs slut. Jessica, "How can she wake up early if she doesn't even have a wolf?". Everyone started laughing and calling me words like 'outcast and weakling'. I just said sorry to Mr Ace and I made my way to my desk as I was about to seat my chair was pulled by Damon the future Alpha of the pack causing me to fall on my back. Everyone started laughing. Damon," Sorry I though the was something on your chair". That made me boil to the edge I then took the water bottle I had then I poured him with it. Immediately I saw his eyes change pitch black as he was about to lunge at me Mr Ace reprimanded us. Mr Ace," Order in the class!! Alicia and Damon you have detention for the whole week for causing disruption during class". Damon kept on sneering at me and he came close to me and leaned on my ear and said, "Watch your back!!". I soon regretted what I did and I went to sit on my chair praying that the lesson takes longer cause I'm in trouble. I got a text from Emily,' Hollysh*t that was dope but you are in deep sh*t. Damon won't stop until he gets his revenge'. DAMN!! Even my bestfriend knew I was in trouble.
Suddenly the bell rang. My heart started skipping 10 beats per second. I'm sure whoever was next to me knew I was scared let alone Damon can smell my fear. I stayed in the class acted like I was not done copying the notes and he left. Then after 5 minutes when everyone was gone I left as I was about to open the door heading to the corridors I heard a voice behind me, " You thought you could runaway from me princess" as I turned I immediately knew who it was...Damon. He then lunged to me and grabbed me by my hair and pinned me to the wall and started to choke me. Damon," Don't you ever disrespect me ever again in your life.Do you hear me!!" I squirmed," Yes. I'm sorry you are hurting me Damon". He starter gripping me even more and continued saying," I will make you regret the day your parents abandoned you!!". Those words hurted more than what he was doing to me. He then let go of me I felt tears streaming down my cheeks I just ran to the toilet. I sat there the whole day waiting for school to be over.
I then left when all the school kids left and I arrived at 5pm at the Orphanage Home. Emily ran down stairs worried about me and I explained everything that happened to me. Emily,' He is such a dickhead!!'. Then shae changed the topic to discuss tomorrow since it is my birthday and I am turning 18 years old. Emily,' Enough about sad stories what are we doing tomorrow since you are turning 18 years old...Omg I have an idea we can go watch movies and then go to the forest to see if you will shift maybe to your wolf'. Alicia," Not again we are not discussing this shifting thing Emily it ain't gonna happen I don't have a wolf that's it I feel like we should stop talking about it and accept things as they are". Emily,"But you know you can't runaway from this Alicia I can smell a wolf scent from you while some other wolf's from the pack can't I think you have a wolf. Please trust me do it for me it is a Red Full Moon tomorrow at 10pm I think you might shift". Alicia,"Okay fine we can do it" Emily suddenly stood up and started dancing. She was happy that I'm doing this and she thinks I might have a Silver Wolf which is the rarest wolf that went extinct 100 million years back due to other Rouges Packs trying to take the power for their own use such as having immortality and strength. We chatted and went to sleep since we were planning our day tomorrow.
I woke up and went to school today I was early since I had to finish some stuff early to be able to celebrate my birthday and to top it off I had detention. When I was at the packing lot I got hit by a musky wood rain smell and I felt butterflies running down my spine...could that be my mate? I shrung the the feeling off as I knew I didn't have a wolf so I thought it was my imagination . I arrived at the Detention Hall and guess what the devil is there the all mighty Damon and it seems like it is only me and him I haven't seen him since the day started. As I walked in I smelt the smell I smelled earlier of the musky wood rain smell and butterflies started running down my spine. My eyes locked with Damon which were now pitch-black as he spat out 'Mate!'.
He suddenly stood up from his chair making his way to me. I was shocked and scared with everything that was happening luckily I was saved by Mr Ace who entered the class to make sure we are behaved during our detention. Mr Ace," Be seated everyone I don't want to keep on reminding both of you rules of the Detention. No noise and No talking to each other!".
Time went by as soon as detention was over as we are about to leave Mr Ace wanted to talk to me regarding my academics. I felt like the Moon Goddess was on my side she knew that I needed to be saved, let alone being paired with the Alpha it is crazy who would want to be that psychos mate. Mr Ace,"I like how you achieve your academics.You produce outstanding results you should start applying for collages and bursaries it will help you since you don't have any funding. Have you thought of what do you want to do when you get to collage?". Alicia,"No Sir I haven't". Mr Ace," Then today your task is to find out what do you want to do". I nodded to Mr Ace and I took the documents he handed me then I made my way out. I was so relieved that Damon left but I thought wrong as I was about to turn to the last corridor leading me to the exit he came out of nowhere and grabbed me by my waist and pinned me on the wall as I try to get off his grip. Damon,"Hi Mate!". He said that as he started grinning and smirking at me.
