Manifestation?
Manifestation authority?
Then!
Vorthis suddenly had a very bold idea.
Although it's still unclear what kind of world this is, that doesn't stop Vorthis from having a daring thought.
Since manifestation can bring anything in the world into being,
What one thinks, one gets.
So, could he manifest a body for himself?
It seems... like it might actually work!
I create myself!
Vorthis began to imagine the shape of his new body in his mind. The first thing he thought of...
"It has to be handsome!"
Ahem, but just being purely handsome seems to lack depth, it needs some layers, otherwise, it would be unattractive.
After all, there's a saying: "Extremes turn into opposites!"
Applying this here, I believe it still works.
Therefore, the new body can't be too handsome.
It needs to include other elements.
Hmm, this body...
Handsome with a touch of elegance, elegance with a hint of charm, charm with a touch of cuteness, cuteness with a hint of adorableness, adorableness with a touch of refinement, and refinement with substance.
A white-haired young male body thus appeared in Vorthis's mind.
Next, Vorthis added the clothes—a mystical, ethereal style dominated by white, accented by gray, with a touch of light blue as a finishing touch.
In short: it looks great!
"Hmm, face, body, clothes—everything's set."
"But it still feels like something's missing..."
Vorthis stared at the image of his body in his mind, which seemed perfect and made him quite satisfied.
But he just felt like something was still lacking.
"Right!"
Vorthis suddenly realized!
He knew what was missing.
Power!
This body was too weak, it lacked strength!
The enormous meteorite crater he was in looked somewhat intimidating, and he, being someone with the power of manifestation, certainly wasn't the only one with power here.
Could others be powerless?
For the sake of protecting his life, he'd certainly need to wield powerful strength.
So, how much power would he need?
Vorthis prepared to find a point of reference.
"Worst case, something like Morax from Genshin Impact?"
If he could wield that kind of strength, he should be able to survive in this world, at least... maybe?
Hmm!
Let's do this!
Vorthis checked again to make sure everything was ready.
Now, it was time to manifest his body.
Manifestation!
"Ugh!"
Pain! Terrible pain! It felt like he was being torn apart!
Vorthis immediately felt a massive amount of something being drawn from his body.
Then, within the fog, a body began to form.
The body, originally pure white, gradually solidified into reality, somewhat resembling a 3D printing effect. Vorthis didn't know why it hurt so much.
It was highly likely that the manifestation consumed so much of his power that it caused this tearing sensation. Could it be that it injured his essence?
Vorthis, a newcomer to this world, didn't understand these things.
He just felt so drowsy... so drowsy...
"Crap... I've overdrawn too much power... I'm about to fall asleep..."
Due to the excessive depletion of his power, Vorthis immediately felt his consciousness growing heavy, as though he was about to fall into a deep slumber.
But he held on.
In the mist, his essence appeared as a hexagonal crystal.
The manifestation crystal.
In the final moments of his fainting, Vorthis controlled the manifestation crystal and flew it to the body he had created.
It then sank into the heart of the young body.
Just as Vorthis was about to experience the joy of having a new body, he collapsed from the overexertion of his power.
In the dangerous wilderness, a young boy lay quietly on the ground.
It was practically a gift from nature.
One hungry wolf could have carried the unconscious Vorthis away.
But no wolf came.
A golden light flew in his direction.
This had once been the site where a star fell, and the impact had created a vast, deep crater in the wasteland.
Later, the star had left the earth, leaving the massive, deep chasm behind.
At that time, Morax happened to pass by and saw a white meteorite crash into the chasm. He sensed a familiar aura and decided to check it out.
"Scatter."
When he arrived, Morax didn't see the white meteorite. Instead, he found a mass of white mist at the center of the chasm.
The white meteorite must have been related to this mist.
So, with a casual wave, Morax used his power to easily disperse the mist.
Once the white mist dispersed, a young god-like figure appeared on the ground.
Morax could feel the demonic aura emanating from him.
However, it seemed like the boy had encountered some trouble.
"Well, since I'm here, I might as well help."
Morax, now more inclined to make friends, couldn't just leave this fellow god in a coma.
"Has his essence been damaged?"
Morax moved forward to examine the boy's condition.
He noticed the boy's essence was damaged.
But he didn't know exactly what had caused the damage.
Typically, there are two things that could damage a god's essence.
One is being attacked by someone else, and the other is overexertion of power.
The boy didn't seem to have been in a fight.
Had he overdrawn his essence just after being born?
A strange god...
Didn't he know that overexerting his essence would weaken his strength? What if he encountered some danger out here?
Morax shook his head, not continuing to dwell on it.
Instead, he raised his hand and hovered it over the boy, pouring golden light into his body.
What he could do was only replenish the boy's depleted power to help him wake up.
But as for his essence, there was nothing he could do.
The essence of each god is different, so Morax was unable to help with that.
