Fifteen minutes later, I met Jade at the cafe we agreed to meet.
"Hey Jade what's up?" Sellisa asked taking a seat.
"Hi Lisa, you know you kept me waiting." Jade said.
"I know and I am sorry, it wasn't intentional. It was my mum." Sellisa replied.
"What happened to your mum?" Jade asked.
"Oh My Goodness Jade, it's not that serious don't worry. It's just that after I told my family about our plans she became emotional, she didn't want me to leave but after much persuasion she finally agreed to let me go on a condition." Sellisa explained. "Guess the condition." She added.
"Sellisa please just tell me, I don't like this suspense." Jade said impatiently.
"Aren't you even going to try?" Sellisa asked and Jade shock her head negatively. "Okay fine. I actually thought her condition would be impossible but I was actually shocked to know her condition. She said if I want to live on my own I had to call her every single day even if I am very busy, can you believe that?" She explained further laughing.
"Hahahahaha." Jade laughed. "Seriously, that was her condition?" Jade asked.
"Yes and this was exactly how I reacted when I heard her condition." Sellisa replied.
"You know your mum took sometime to agree to the plan but my mum was the first to agree from my side, she said as a girl you need to be independent." Jade explained.
"She's absolutely right, your mum is totally different from my mum, my mum is so emotional." Sellisa replied.
"I'm so glad that our plan has succeeded and we can now stay on our own. Right?" Jade asked excitedly.
"Yeah, that's right." Sellisa answered and they gave eachother a high five.
