Ovelia's POV
As Ann raced through the forest, the faint glow of light ahead grew brighter with every step. My heart pounded in sync with the rhythm of her paws hitting the ground. The scent of damp earth and pine filled the air, but all I could focus on was the hope that Ace, Ray, and Philip were safe.
"Ovelia, I can see Sir Ace, Ray, and Philip up ahead," Ann said, her voice tinged with relief and excitement.
A wave of relief washed over me, lightening the weight that had been pressing on my chest. In the distance, I could make out three figures—Ace, Ray, and Philip. They were unharmed, and the sight of them standing tall and strong made my heart swell with joy.
