Introduction

Mike is a young man in his early thirties ,he is married to Celine a blind woman whom he loves a lot. Celine Is six months pregnant and Mike is very excited about it .

Scene 1

???:Celine,Celine wake up

As Mike sat on the bed next to her she woke up.Mike handed her a cup of coffee and gave her a kiss on neck

MIKE:I have to go to work now ,but I'll back early today and then we will go shopping for the little one in ur tummy right now.(using baby talk and kissing her stomach )

Celine:uhm .

She noded taking her sip of her coffee.

MIKE got up and left his wife on the bed took his car keys ,got into his car and drove of to work

Scene 2

Mike is the best surgeon doctor in the country and as he drives he receives a phone call from the nurse in the hospital

(Restless and worried]

Candice:Mike we need you right now .

Mike:what's up?

Candice:We have a young girl she was in a bad car crash she needed surgery ASAP.

Mike:Aren't there any other surgeon doctors with you right now,Where's Donald?

Candice:Mike u are the only one close enough and in the right state to work right now, Maurice was here all night and has just left,Donald in performing a surgery right now Sabrina has a day off .

Mike :OK almost there just relax.

Call drops,Mike arrives at the hospital and rushes out the car and to the theater.

Candice rushes out and sees him she gets him to the patient.

Candice:Sammy White ,16 years old sustained a bad head injury 3 broken ribs and severe blood loss .

Mike:OK I need the X ray pictures and a team now.

Candice :consider it done.

Candice rushes to arrange the crew and Mike performs the surgery on the young girl.[after a few hours] Mike comes out of the theater looking very tired walks over to the child's parents who rush over to him

with deep concern in their eyes.

Mrs White: Oh doctor is she OK how is she doing?

Mr White :Let him speak Margaret.

Mike: everything went well she is going to be fine we handled everything .

Mrs White :oh thank you thank you[she cries]

Mike walks away as the couple celebrates their daughter's survival. Candice catches up with Mike and whispers into his ear

Candice: wow looks like you are a hero to mayor and his wife right now think u'll get a noble prize.

[She says teasingly ]

[Mike smiles it away and goes into the changing room and comes out in his clothes and goes to his car.]

Scene3

Mike is driving home he arrives there safely .His wife is getting ready to go shopping.

Mike:Hey beautiful [kisses her from behind]

Celine:Hello to the king of my heart how was work today?

Mike:ehh nothing interesting just save a life that's all? (Sarcastically)

[They both laughed]

Celine:OK we are ready now let's go.

Mike:Not yet you aren't.

Celine :what do you mean is there something wrong with my dress?

Mike:No you are perfect .(romantically as he puts a necklace around her neck.)

[Celine feels the necklace and smiles ]

Mike:I love you celine.

he moves closer to her holding her hand between their close chest

Celine:I love you too Mike.

[They kiss]

Scene 4

Mike's car pulls up at a parking lot next to a mall there is laughing and teasing in the car .Mike comes out and goes to help his wife out of the car

Mike:easy love .(as he helps her out)

Celine: [breathes out a heavy breath]Thank-you darling .Shall we?

[She holds up her hand and Mike holds it]

Mike:of course .

He holds her hand and leads her inside.They are in a clothing store at the baby section

Celine feels the clothes with her hands

Celine:Wow Mike this feels very soft and snuggly it feels perfect for our little Lucy how does it look?

Mike: Wow it's looks perfect , you know you may be blind but those mother instincts aren't letting you down.

They both laugh at it softly.

They are at the counter ,Mike pays for all the clothes and carries the bags in both hands .

As they walk out Celine leads the way .Mike stumbles and almost falls because of his untied shoe laces. He stops to tie them.

Celine does not notice this and keeps walking and walks into the middle of the road which wasn't very busy at that time . when Celine was almost across the road a car at a very high speed approaches at on the wrong lane and hits Celine .The man In the car stops steps out hurriedly he is wearing an expensive black suit and he looks at the dying woman on the ground and her walking stick .

Driver: she's blind she wasn't important to anyone!?

And rushes back into the car and takes off at a high steed again. Mike heard exclamations and when he looked up from his feet he saw feet of a man rushing back to the car and the car flying of again. Next to where the car was his attention was again captured but this time his wife's body laying lifeless on the road.

It's was like he lost his brain for a sec and froze .

Mike:CELINE!!

He rushes towards her he gets to her and

Slaps her face to try and wake her up.

Mike :Celine wake-up ,wake up Celine please wake Up I'm begging you celine wake up !wake up!

HE starts to let out a river of tears holding his wife 's hand and resting his head on her chest .

Mike :Celine please wake up.

[Cops and an ambulance gather on the scene there are sounds of sirens]

Scene5

[It is Celine funeral ]

[The casket is carried to the grave ]

[Mike Softly speaks to himself eyes locked on the casket, weeping Softly]

Mike: Celine ...Celine please ...If ..if you don't wake up now they are really gonna put you in that grave please wake up little Lucy too.

[As they continue to the grave]

Mike :Celine please I'm begging you.

[getting louder]

The casket is being lowered into the grave

and Mike bursts out in tears .They hold him Back as he tried to run to his wife's casket.

Mike:Celine please I'm begging you ,

Mike:Lucy! Lucy! Talk sense into her! CELINE!!!

still fighting to go toward her

He flashes back to all the memories they had together from the moment they first met ,laughing together next to a lake watching a beautiful sunset that lit the horizon with a beautiful red colour ,to the moment they got married and everyone clapped after he kissed his lovely bride ,to the moment she told him she was pregnant.and now all of that beauty was lost never to be regained, love left him in the form of tears and happiness in the form of a corpse, sealed beneath the earth, so close yet so far

Act 2

Scene 1

It has been 2years since Mike lost His family and 2 restless years of searching for their murder.

He is sitting in his house's balcony looking down at the busy road below him and with eyes filled with hatred .

His younger brother Mark walks onto the balcony. He constantly visits him ever since Mike lost Celine and little Lucy because, he changed for the worst .It was like he lost all his feelings along with Celine accept for anger,hatred and sorrow. Mark is in a suit and looks like he is heading to an important business meeting

Mark: Mike come on man you can't be like this forever ,OK,look I know you loved Celine a lot but there's nothing we can do about it it's not like we can turn back time.

Mike:You don't know how it feels Mark

[Tears starting to drop from his eyes]

Mark:Of course I do Mike do you think it was fun when I lost my 5 year daughter!? Oh here here is a clue Mike it wasn't! but did I shut away the world and bring my life to a stand still No Mike![he also starts to cry]Sometimes Mike it's like you forget you are the older one and act like a little child.[he looks away from Mike, hands in his pocket]

Mike :you miss her don't you?

Mark: Each year that passes On her birthday I add a year to her age..[sobs] and this year she would have turned 12 .[sobs]

I still blame myself for attending that business meeting instead of fetching my daughter from school coz if...[sobs] if I went to fetch her she wouldn't had riden that taxi and could still be alive today Mike [He bursts into tears].

Mike:Mark how were you supposed to know that the bridge was going to collapse when the taxi was on it?

[He turns back to him and looks at him in the eye]

Mark:I don't know Mike but ,I JUST HAD TO. Mike my point is I also hate the road. I lost so much in just a few moments because of it but you have to go on with your life and be strong. Remember,there's always a reason to fight you might not know it, you might not see it but it's there.

[Looks at the time]

Mark:Oh I have to go take care of yourself Mike.

[He leaves]

Mike for the first time in 2 years seems to be touched by his brother's words,a person's words. He starts thinking about how his brother had held his daughter, how he had laughed with her and see cry but again lose her when their bond had grown so strong. He looked back on how Celia would run to her dad everytime her mother wanted to beat her and would feel completely safe when she gets to him. It had him smile a bit , though he longed for such a bond with Lucy it wasn't already promised to him unlike Celia who had been promised to be the reson for Mark's smile since she was born. But again in his situation there was also Celine ,his lover,his everything, fell in love at the age of 19,married at 23, done apart by death at 32.

Scene2

Mark is driving in his car over the bridge that took the life of his little key to joy

the wound had been healed but it opened again.It wasn't busy at all .He steps out of the car and looks over the edge down to the river where the memory of her 5 year old daughter calling dad for the last time ,the memory of her little Cilia loosing her life was made her eyes blinking rapidly to show the white before loosing e life.He crys.

Mark:Goodbye my little package of joy you were too pure for this world, it was only gonna stain your dress to heaven, I do miss you believe me I do and just so you know,you left a hole in my heart that absolutely no one and definitely nothing can fill. I hope the angels are treating you well. God please treat her like a princess. [He says looking at the sky]

Mike drops his head and looks down and his eye catch a glimpse of a suspicious looking lady covering her face .He rushed to the other side of the bridge to look at her but she didn't show up ,puzzled Mark rushes under the bridge and just as he comes under he clashes with the lady.She was wearing old ragged but clean clothes.

She was startled by Mark's sudden appearance ,she was çarring a small bag in which she had a bunch of small sardines.

Mark:Hello

He says trying to peak under the cloth around her face

Lady:hi

Sĥe tries to hide her face.

Mark stretches his hand and pulls off the cloth,and the lady's face is revealed,and immediately Mark 's face goes pale.

Mark:Violet Ranger!??...

It's impossible you died!!?

Violet: [She tries to shut him up ] shhh lower your voice .

Mark:How my company buried you even the mayor attended your funeral.

Violet :calm down will you come with me .

She leads him holding his hand and they come to a bushy area the lady opened a small wooden door that was hidden in the grass .

Violet: come with me .

They go down to a place that looks like an abandoned subway under the ground .

The lady leads Mark to a train and they get in and sit down.The inside of the train was set in in a way that it showèd that Violet has been living in it for a long time now. Mark: [Mark still puzzled] ok what's going here ?

Violet: promise you won't tell anyone plz I will tell you everything.

Mark: OK Ok now explain this to me.

Violet: I was a worker Lazybone theater you know the movie theater opposite of the mall ,and 2 years ago a terrible accident happened on that block and, my friend she worked with the cctv cameras. They were told to erase that footage of the accident but she did something sneaky.She got the footage in a USB and then removed it from the computers,I don't know who or how,but ,unfortunately someone found out and snitched on her.

She found out that they were planning to kill her and so, she handed it to me ,told me to give it to the police and then fled from the country. Well I thought I was going to hand it over the following week over the weekend because I was busy, I had to work overtime so my kids have a proper life and a higher standard. That following week I heard she was killed in Germany and the suspects were from this country, So I faked our deaths and fled with my kids . I was scared to ɓe taken away from them while they are so young.

I'm begging you please don't tell this to anyone one .

Mark astonished

Maŕk: Wait do you still got the USB ?

Violet: yeah I do [looking suspiciously at him]

Mark: May I have it?

Violet :o...k.

She gets up and goes to fetch the it. Mark's head is filled with thoughts of Celine.

Violet comes back with it .Mark plays it on the train and in did his brother's wife's death is revealed.

Scene3

Mark is frozen after seeing his sister in law's murder .

Violet:Hey are you OK?

Mark:OK listen we have to expose this person ...

Violet:what No I'm not doing that you...

Mark :Hey ,hey don't you want to be free from this prison you have locked yourself in ?..

You do right? so listen we have to expose him so he will no longer be a threat to you or anyone else, Violet you've got to help me here.

[Violet after thinking about it for a while]

Violet:promise me and my kids you will get us out of this hell hole.

Mark:I promise.

Violet:So what's the plan ?

Mark: we go to court.

Scene 4

[A few days later)

Mark comes running back into his brother's house.

Mike: whoa what's going on!?

Mark:Mike ,Mike I know who hit Celine I have got a disc with the whole footage It shows the number plate and the driver of the car ,Mike we are going to court.

Mike's heart filled with joy along with anger

Mike:who did It ?

Mark :come on get into the car I have already arranged everything the trail will take place in 2 hours.

He grabs Mike's hand and leads him to his car .He then rushes to the driver's seat and starts driving. Violet in in the back seat with her kids Dora and Emma.

Mike :OK can you please tell me what's going on Mark and who is she.

Marķ:She's is violet and she has evidence about who killed Celine .

Looks at both of them expecting an answer

Mike: Who was it?

Mark :It was Mr White

Mike's face went pale that instant

Mike:The.. the mayor?

Mark :Yes Mark the mayor ,I also didn't believe at first but it's the truth.

Tears started to flow down on Mike's face memories of him standing for hours trying to save their daughter's life colliding with memories of Celine laying still and life less in her casket.

Mike:Why me ?..Why am I being punished this way .

Mark:I'm sorry Mike..I'm sorry.

Scene 5

They arrive at court they find the mayor is held in custody.

Mr White: OK Ok won't your atleast let me make a phone call .

The cops let him loose and he begins to turn to walk to the phones but he meets with Mark's crew. He goes blank for a moment after seeing Violet but then continues walking. Violet also seems intimidated by the encounter.

Violet:guys go inside I'll be out here with the kids .

Maŕk: are you sure ?I mean don't you want to see his face after defeat ?

Violet:No I'm sure .

Mark:Okeyyy

Dora and Emma: good luck uncle Mark .

They had established a powerful bond with each other, Mark was very fond of the girls because they reminded him of his little Celia.They also loved him Back because of the way he treated them,to them he was like the father they never had.

The brothers entered the court room after a while Mr White joined the room looking lighter than when the cops had him.

The trial began,progressed and the evidence was displayed .They lost the case as the judge said the evidence was obtained illegally and its could be false as they were just trying to frame the mayor.

Left alone with his brother in the court room.

Mike's head was spinning, after all these years when he finally had her murdered in his graspe he slipped away just like water in the palm of one's hand. Rage filled him in an instant.

Mark:Hey calm down ok ,

Mike :How can I do that u saw what just happened !!

Mark:Well we'll just keep pushing ,a lot is at stake this time there is Violet and her little ones who I promised a better life!!

Mike:Can't you see we have lost it all?

Mark :It's Can't be,It's impossible Mike,Cleary the judge was bribed

A phone rings in Mark's pocket he answers it .

Mark: .....What !?

He starts running out

Mike :Hey Mark wait!

He also stands up and runs after his brother. They run to behind the building which is usually just quiet as there were a lot of bushes used to decorate the area they find a crowd of people gathered.

They push through with Mark leading the way .They find a dead body, It was Violet, She was shot to death.Emma and Dora were nowhere to be found though the cops concluded by saying they were kidnapped by their mother 's murder.

Act3

Sncene1

Mike and Mark spread the video about the mayor on social media also linking it to Violet 's death .They lead a march fighting for justice for Celine and Violet. Large crowds joined .Cops we called to disperse the crowds ,They fired at them with rubber bullets but the crowd was stronger and didn't stop the march .The mayor then ordered the cops to shoot them down with real bullets. They fired randomly and the people started running ,250 people lost their lives during the shootings.

Mike and his brother were arrested for Vandalism and were charged with the murder of the 250 people. They were locked in a cell and were waiting to go to court on the following Monday.

Mike: Mark we have to do it my way now ,we've got to avenge them .Celine, Violet the kids every one !! We have suffered a lot because of him.

Mark looks at him from the side and turns his head forward again.

Mark:you have made your choice haven't you?

Mike:...yes.

Mark:And I can't change your mind can I?

Mike:...No you can't.

Mark:We'll I guess I too have no choice .

He puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out a key for the cell. 3 days before the court.

Mike:When did you even steal that.

Mark:A magician never reveals his secret.

He opens the cell and they escape during the night.

Mike goes to a dealer and gets a gun .

It's 9 pm and they are at the mayor's house. With the silencer on the securities were shot to death,he breaks in while Mark waits in the car.Just as he in shooting range on of the mayor's goons flips him across the room smacking him down on the floor . Mike's gun was sent flying across the room.

GOON1: look what we've got here, looks like this little rat was planning on taking the mayor's life.

Goon2: We'll sadly the only soul living It's body tonight is yours.

Breathing heavily

Mike: So you guys are killing people for him !? What does he promise you huh!? Money, Power. !? Do you think he will ever leave the spot to you?

Goon1: (he laughs out loudly) C.C.C.C.C

Haven't you learned anything. MONEY is Power.How do u think he won that court case after you brought solid evidence huh, How do you think he got the police off his back after getting his 2 favorite sex toys huh ? Money

Mike's rage awoke again without thinking, he grabbed the goon talking and his gun fell from his hand, he smacked him against the floor with harsh pulling force. He jumped for the gun and fired instantly at the other goons before they could get their guns.Mr white who was watching this from a distance started to panic and ran to one of the rooms where he kept Dora and Emma locked up. Scared of what he does to them, they both held on another tightly and ran to the corner .

The first Goon got up and attacked Mike while he was still laying down ,he took the gun from him but when he tried to shoot him there weren't any bullets left ,so he picked him up and threw him across the room multiple times until he was bloody. When the goon tried to pick him up again he broke a vase that was close to him on his face and the goon blacked out.

Mike took the gun and repeatedly hit the goon on his head.

He then continued to search for the mayor in his house. He stumbled across the master bedroom where he found Mrs White holding her daughter's new born baby .

He was immediately pissed and walked away.The did see him at all as he peaked through the door then he came across a room where he had endless sobbing ,he tried to open the door but it was locked, he broke it down .Inside were Dora and Emma they looked scared for their lives and they rushed to him when they saw him .

Dora:(scared and whispering) he is tin the closet .

Mike:OK run outside you will see Uncle Mark ok ,Don't worry no one will hurt you now I am here.They both did as Mike said.

Mike then continued to the closet he opened it and there was Mr White hiding like a cold rat. Out of rage he smacked him in the head hard with the gun Mr White lost consciousness.

Scene 2

Mike then went to the garage and harvested fuel from the cars which he spilled around the entire house accept the room with Mrs White ,Sammy and Sammy's new born daughter. After that he dragged the mayor to the master bedroom with a gun in his other hand .

Mike:Don't you move .

He says pointing at them with the gun. He drops Mr White.

Mike: OK tie him up and then tie each other up.

They did as told.Mr White woke up .

Mike :Ahh you are awake good because I want you to know you did this to them ,and finally I will show you what it's like to lose someone close to your heart.

Sammy:(crying)please, please don't do this I have a little baby.

Mike:Oh Really Am I supposed to clap for you well because Your father took away mine before I could even hold her ,Are you proud!!?

Sammy:please I'm begging you .

Mike :You knew what your father did right?...and you kept quiet about it.

Sammy: He's my dad how could I get him arrested?

Mike : Nope ,I'm sorry I don't think I would like to spread people like you and your father to the world.

Mike :I LOVED HER and you took her away, and now you must pay.

He lit a candle and placed it under the bed. The bed started burning until eventually the whole house was on fire. Mike emerged from the fire. Mark brought a blanket to his brother and covers him .

Mark:It's all over now huh?

Mike: yeah.

Mike :Thanks for being with me through it all man.

Mark:Bro I was with you the moment I was brought in our mothers womb.

He lays his head on his brother for a moment.

Mark:OK let's get away from here before we become suspects luckily Emma and Dora are asleep .

Mike : Do you plan on adopting them ?

Mark :yeah they are good kids why not .

Mike :congratulations and being a dad again .

They both laugh as they drive away
