Chapter 32 - 32: The Bomb

They decided Lucky would have her Luna ceremony in a month, after they went through with Operation Purge. She didn't want that hanging over her head on what was supposed to be a day for joy and celebration. The ceremony would solidify her bond with Traven and with the pack. Many pack members claimed they were experiencing better health since Lucky arrived. This seemed to suggest she might have some ability as a healer, physically as well as emotionally. Her desire to protect this pack, each and every single member, grew stronger every day. Traven often joked that Lucky was more "Alpha" than he was, but Lucky knew he felt just as protective as she did. He just had to get past the betrayal, which was easier said than done. He was a good Alpha, his intelligence and strength made him well respected by his pack, many of whom expressed regret over what had happened to him, amazed at the resilience he had shown surviving all of those years in the desert.
