Chapter 10 - "Living in Chaos"

The next morning, Ji Hoon woke up feeling confused. His head felt heavy and his mind wandered around, trying to remember what exactly happened the night before. All day he felt like he was in a nightclub, surrounded by his friends and excitement. However, when he opened his eyes and looked around, he realized that he was in his own room.

He looked up at the clock on the wall that read 10am. The quiet atmosphere of the room contrasted with the memories of the noise and crowds of the club that still plagued his mind. Ji Hoon remembers the last few seconds before going to sleep. After taking Soo Jin home, he felt a little dizzy and couldn't remember clearly how he ended up back home.

However, he felt strange-like there was something left inside him, a deeper feeling than just the fun of the night. He looked down at his phone and saw messages from his friends flooding his inbox, most reminding him of what happened at the club, while others asked if he was awake.

Ji Hoon took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He knew he needed to deal with these feelings - especially the feelings he felt after dropping Soo Jin off last night. However, as he thought further, there was one thing that bothered him more: the strange and different feelings towards Soo Jin.

A little confused, Ji Hoon decided to get out of bed and try to calm his mind. He walked to the bathroom and washed his face with cold water. Afterwards, he stood in front of the mirror, staring at himself for a moment, trying to remember what happened last night. Why was there suddenly a different feeling whenever he thought about Soo Jin? He didn't know for sure, but there was something that made him feel unusual.

After cleaning up, Ji Hoon picked up his cell phone and started scrolling through the messages. His friends kept flooding his inbox, some asking if he wanted to go out again tonight, while others just sent pictures and videos from last night. However, his eyes fell on one message that took him a little by surprise-a message from Soo Jin.

Soo Jin: "Thank you for last night, Ji Hoon. I know you're a bit weird, but still... I appreciate it."

Ji Hoon read the message over and over again. He felt that there was something in those words that was different from usual. Usually, Soo Jin wouldn't express her feelings like that. That made him even more confused.

Suddenly, an idea flashed through his head. Maybe it was time to talk to Soo Jin, to clarify everything. He didn't want any confusing tension between the two of them.

Quickly, Ji Hoon sent a reply.

Ji Hoon: "I thank you too, Soo Jin. I... may have been a bit strange, but I'm glad I was able to help you yesterday."

After sending the message, Ji Hoon sat on the sofa, contemplating. He felt like there was a tension slowly building up between him and Soo Jin, though he didn't know why or how. He realized that his feelings for Soo Jin had changed, but he didn't know what to do with them.

Not long after, his cell phone rang. Soo Jin replied to the message quickly.

Soo Jin: "I know, Ji Hoon. I just felt calmer after that incident. But I also have to admit, I was a little worried seeing you last night. Be careful, okay?"

Reading that reply, Ji Hoon felt a different kind of warmth. There was concern in her words, and it made his heart beat a little faster. He leaned his back on the sofa, smiling to himself. This strange feeling was getting stronger, but he didn't know how to deal with it.

His mind drifted back to that night, to when he drove Soo Jin home and felt like something was wrong. She wanted to say it, but felt like she wasn't ready to open up about these feelings that were just beginning to surface.

However, one thing was certain: Ji Hoon couldn't ignore these feelings, and he felt like he was ready to face whatever happened next.

At home, things were a little different that morning. Ji Hoon had just finished breakfast, and he was sitting in the living room playing with his phone, trying to take his mind off Soo Jin and everything that happened last night. However, the calm atmosphere was suddenly interrupted by a noise from the direction of the entrance.

"Mr. Ji Hoon, what have you done?" came the voice of the house servant who used to call him in a gawking tone.

Ji Hoon raised his head, confused. "Huh? Why?" he asked, half-comprehending.

The maid quickly pointed to a picture on Ji Hoon's phone screen, which happened to be open on his Instagram story-a photo of him posing strangely in front of a mirror at a nightclub. "Mister, isn't this a bit much? There were a lot of people who saw your story that night!"

Ji Hoon looked at his phone screen and chuckled. "Oh, that? I was just joking a little, really. Besides, who doesn't like seeing pictures like that? Just for fun!"

The waitress shook her head, "Sir, that would make your mom and dad confused if they saw it. You should be more careful."

Ji Hoon laughed loudly, "Ah, mom and dad are out of town, so I'm free! Besides, who cares about the story? Most of my friends will see it."

However, not long after, there was a voice from the kitchen, the loud voice of his aunt who was busy preparing lunch.

"Mr. Ji Hoon! Did you forget? Don't play around too much! You almost caused trouble again!" his aunt shouted in an annoyed tone, holding a large pot.

Ji Hoon laughed awkwardly, "Take it easy, auntie. I'm just having a little 'fun' at home." He felt like he was in an unexpected comedy movie, where every step was accompanied by trouble that came out of nowhere.

Auntie shook her head, "You think this is funny? Come help me clean the kitchen."

Ji Hoon stared at the kitchen space and then made a face pretending to be confused. "Kitchen? I'd rather stay in the living room, if that." He then glanced at the waitress who was passing by with a sharp gaze, trying to find a way to avoid her.

The waiter just shook his head again, "Don't think you can go on like that, sir. You'll be very sorry."

However, despite speaking seriously, Ji Hoon's expression remained full of laughter. Even in the midst of the chaos and reprimands, he couldn't help but laugh. Everything in his house always felt like a joke, especially when everyone seemed to be watching each other. But either way, Ji Hoon knew that the freedom he felt right now, although a little chaotic, gave him a different sensation.

Suddenly his cell phone rang again. It was a message from his friends inviting him to go out again that night.

"Yeah, why not?" Ji Hoon mumbled with a smile, hardly caring about all the reprimands coming his way.

And behind the laughter, one thing was certain: Ji Hoon just can't escape the fun and chaotic atmosphere that he always brings into his life, even if it means making the people around him a little annoyed.
