Walking in the Winter Snow in what was in summer a grassy plain. Mugene, two wives, and his men march forth in the winter season. Upon a hundred mile journey into "Hermit Wizard Garedon".
"Why not just teleport there your liege?" - Captain Hugo
"Because, the wilderness is field with trouble, if caught off guard, may lead us to entrapment and catastrophe of being captured." - Mugene
"Look, footprints, orcish in nature, if we don't eliminate them one by one, they will feed on us by the Great Hording numbers, we can't have that." - Mugene
As they went onwards with their march, a sight of scouts from orcs were seen by one of the guards. Giving his report to Mugene, Mugene immediately gave off a command.
"Everyone, Everyone, Hold! Hold!" - Mugene
"Everyone, Everyone, On Guard! - Guard!" - Mugene
"Everyone, ready heating crystals! Make base here! And always stand guard!" -Mugene
"Sir, we need to act now." - Captain Hugo
"Yes, for the "whisperers of fate" might have influenced the orcs telepathically already - ". -Mugene
"Have men stationed at my quarters (whispers), and bring a group of hunters to be released into the fields for which to hunt the scouts. All orders on patrol are now on my schedule. Gather information for a suitable ground for a counter attack. We have been discovered!" - Mugene
"Yes, your liege." - Captain Hugo
The hunters have gathered under the direction of a "hun" named "Bashagar". Bashagar and his team are now task with a difficult task. "To cut off the connection fast by killing the scouts to not make it possibly known of the discovery to enemy troops.".
Meanwhile, the patrols on station and on the fields are looking for a suitable battleground for a counter attack.
1) In it, the conditions are not to be surrounded by the opponents.
2) Condition to control the battlefield throughout all counters of the orcs.
3) Location that will leave them able to survive for days of guarding.
These conditions were pressed to the patrolmen. Then a location was found suitable. Just somewhere in the grassy plains lies a mountain. In that mountain lies a cave. They are to explore it and look for clues if it is susceptible for battle.
This is where Captain Hugo comes into play. He checked the caves if the entry had an exit so that they wont be trapped. Upon inspection, the cave has, aside from the 1 entrance, other 3 exits. There they can enter and leave without a problem. Now comes tracing, they need to hide the other exits so that they won't be spotted by the orcs. But knowing that the orcs do have familiarity with the mountain, they might be at a disadvantage.
So Captain Hugo suggests to Mugene that such facilities better be handled with care. Rather than a strategic counter of an attack, it be used as a stronghold. To bring men and supply a chance to breath and a chance to relax from this type of a campaign.
Mugene, then agrees, by then, he suggests to use the mountain as a base for the coming plans of attacks against the Orcish bases, situated at their North.
