When the tournament began, the weaker participants banded together to fight the stronger participants, this increased their chances of winning. Meanwhile others chose to take the weaker ones out first in order to have more space and one of them was Lucius AKA Love Fool.
What the participant's didn't expect was for the humanoid beast that Love Fool came with to actually have such insane defensive capabilities. Nothing could penetrate through its scales, not lightning, not fire, nothing. But the creature did have a weakness, its speed was very lacking so Lucius couldn't run around with it but had to stand in one spot.
