"Uh...are you done staring....lady?" The cute guy asked.
"Miss Robinson,this is my son...Lucas. Lucas, this is Miss Robinson and Miss Clyde.....their fathers are the great funders of the school...so please be respectful" The principal said.
"Oh.....Dad is this the people you take bribe from in the name of funding the school....
...no wonder they look like spoilt bitches" The guy named Lucas said.
"Watch your tongue guy" Carmie and I said in unison, then we left the principal office.
"What a rudie....Just because he is hot, he thinks he has the right to speak to us like this....what a scum bag" Carmie said out of frustration.
"Carmie, since it's the last class we have...Let's go grab some Boba tea" I suggested.
"Agreed...Let's go...." She replied.
We got to the Boba shop and began to drink boba till we were full.
We were about to go back to school when we spotted that Lucas guy.....apparently he got into some trouble with the police officer.
"Sir....I'm telling the truth.....I ain't the one who trashed this place" Lucas said.
"Am I expected to listen to a lowlife like you?" The officer asked.
"I am not some crazy folk who will just see police officers and throw money at them..and best part is that you will take it with a smile.....Officer not to be rude but the lowlife here Is you" Lucas said.
"You.....I am...." The officer said before I cut him off
"Officer...sincere apologies.....my friend doesn't know the rules around here....he's new in town....." I explained.
"You got lucky this time kid....Next time,you won't be" The officer before turning to leave.
"I don't need your help" He sneered.
"I can always call the officer back" I retorted
After the boba drinking with Carmie and the word sparing with Lucas, I went back hone to try what Carmie told me
"Here goes everything " I thought.
"Hi...How was your day" I texted.
"Terible" The stranger replied.
"You up for a video call" I asked.
"Nah...I pass. I wouldn't want you to see my face. We are just online buddies and nothing more. We are not dating that I have to do a video call with you.....So please don't bring up the video call talk again" He texted back.
"Oh...I just remember I had something to do" I said.
"Well then.....bye....talk later" He texted.
After the text session, I cried my eyes out because this is the first time a boy has ever rejected my approach. The guy even vented his anger on me.
"Alexis..honey, what's wrong" a voice asked.
I instantly knew it was my mom.

" Mom, when did you have your first crush?" I asked tearfully.
"At your age my dear. Why did you ask? Alexis, is there something you are not telling me?" She asked.
"Mom, I fell in love with an absolute stranger" I said lightly.
" Huh, what did you say?" She said with shock written all over her face.
"It's true mom. I have fallen in love with a stranger, I even wanted to video chat him but he declined" I explained.
"You can't force someone to love you my dear child. It's not love but teenage crush. It happens to every girl" She explained.
"I need to be alone" I said.
"If you need me, I'll be right down the hall" She said before leaving.
I don't know why I'm in such excruciating pain. I've always had boys who stalk me only in the name of love.....silly me has always declined their token of affection.
I've always declined them telling them that they are wasting their time.
So this how rejection feels.
We are not even dating and I already feel like crying. Maybe Lucas was right, maybe I am a spoilt bitch.
Just because I didn't get what I want, I am already in tears. Pathetic.
I cried myself to sleep and when I woke up, there were dark circles below my eyes.
Even with makeup, one could tell that I didn't had a good night sleep.
"What's up Alexis? You didn't even answer my calls....Whoa!What happened to you?It looks like you just see a ghost" Carmie said.
"The stranger rejected my video chat offer" I said bluntly.
"He wouldn't, would he?" She asked with shock written all over her face.
"He rejected my approach" I said.
"Alexis, you are being delusional. Once again, how can you fall for a stranger who you don't even know where he is" She asked.
"My God.....how many times do I have to tell you that we've got a connection?" He said.
" Alexis, as your friend...you are being dead on hysterical. You can't always get what you want. Money can't buy love Alexis. It's better you stick to being friends with him than expanding this fairy taled relationship. Just because you got a 95 percent in the couples test doesn't mean you are meant to be" Carmie said before turning to leave.
Maybe I was being babyish about this matter. I think it's better I let him go but I can't just seem to shake off the feeling that this stranger has stolen my heart.
I was busy thinking when I hit someone.
The person phone fell down. I immediately reached to get the phone when something caught my eye. How did this person have the chat of the mysterious stranger who stole my heart and my conversation ?
It only explains one thing...this person I bumped into is my crush.
I looked up only to meet a pair of dark eyes staring at me coldly.
"You...what are you doing here?" I said.
" I school here remember?I guess when you bumped into me.....you lost your memory. Please pass me my phone" Lucas said.
"You own this phone" I asked.
"Yeah....now please pass the phone Miss Robinson, class is starting soon" He said before collecting the phone from my hand.
So my mysterious love is Lucas?
