This book is about a girl with a lovely, caring family, she's the eldest among her siblings, Tommy and clara, ever since her father fell ill, she hasn't been able to focus on school so she dropped out, she wasn't able to finish college. Two years later her father died from stomach cancer, her mother started working two jobs, things weren't easy at that moment, later on she became depressed and started drinking alot, she did everything to make sure her mom quit drinking but to no avail. A year later her mother got in an accident and has been in a coma ever since. Ashley is left to fend for her siblings and herself.
Will ashley be able to live her life or will she continue to sacrifice for the good of her siblings.
