"Captain Steam! Blaken, do something—their number is high!" (Captain Steam)
"I'll try to stop them from coming for a while." (Blaken)
"Blaken, I'm setting the nuclear shields up. You do something to protect us from the impacts." (Captain Steam)
"Sure, always the dangerous work!" Blaken disappeared into the ground. (Blaken)
Ground Level 1
"All mages of level 150 and above, try to keep the nuclear impact as low as you can. Mages below level 150, ensure the citizens' safety. Mages above level 300—I don't need to explain what to do." (Blaken)
"Well done, Blaken! You're fit for the manager's job." (Legzer)
"Why are you here? You have to seek my permission first!" (Blaken)
"Have mercy, Blaken. It seems Captain abandoned me anyway. I need some of your mages to power up the weapons and suits, so hurry up!" (Legzer)
Hospital,
"You hellish creatures have made a grave mistake by challenging nature. Now it's time for nature to take its revenge!" (Officer)
An enemy approached him from the right, running along the wall and pointing at his neck. The creature turned its eyes and tried to smash the officer against the walls, breaking them and causing a massive collapse of rooms.
The officer used the momentary distraction to target its neck. "Phoenix Claws!" (Officer)
But nothing happened—not a single scratch.
"Don't you see? Nature can't take revenge on us. We're not going against it. We are the chosen ones—following the orders of the celestial gods to finish their creation that broke the laws of nature. You're the prey, and we are the predators!" (Enemy)
"Enough talking!" The air seemed to tighten suddenly. The officer coughed heavily. (Officer)
"It seems you're having trouble breathing. The atmospheric pressure is dropping. You'll die from low oxygen if not by our hands." (Enemy)
"You just said, 'Enough talking.' Our mages can easily handle this. Don't you worry. It's just that we haven't practiced in a long time, and now you've given us the opportunity. Thank you." (Officer)
The officer made a small cut on his chest with his blade. "Hopefully, this will help for a little while. I have to finish you now." (Officer)
His mana was running low, but he launched attack after attack, shifting and juggling his blade, only for the enemy to easily deflect them all.
Green fluid dripped onto the floor.
"A cut at last!" (Enemy)
"One cut? Why are you—" Vines erupted from the ground, tearing through the floor. Snake-like tentacles wrapped around the creature. (Officer)
"You think you can stop me with these vines?" (Enemy)
The officer sped up his movements, attacking at ten times his previous speed. "You know nothing about nature! A turtle may seem slow, but in its domain, it's faster than a snake when it's time to catch prey. And you just entered my domain." (Officer)
In seconds, the officer inflicted thousands of cuts on the enemy, leaving it half-alive and half-dead. The creature, in utter pain, tried to heal itself with fire but couldn't, as the vines were cooling its body temperature.
"Nature, my friend, has a solution for every problem." (Officer)
Ground Level 1
"Mages, it's time to get to the surface!" (Blaken)
"Captain Steam, Blaken, is anything done yet?" (Legzer)
"Trying, Steam! Mages, hurry up!" (Blaken)
The mages cast a massive magical barrier—a dark, black spatial shield beneath the nuclear shields. It resembled the mouth of a whale, ready to devour the enemy.
"Here it comes!" (Blaken)
The creatures attempting to breach the surface were obliterated by the shield, their existence erased in an instant.
"These hellish creatures are immune to fire, but not to chemical reactions. Hell yeah!" (Captain Steam)
The radiation dissipated after the impact, as the dark shield absorbed it like a black hole. The sight was heavenly—thousands of nuclear explosions vanishing in an instant. The impact covered the entire planet.
"These are the best fireworks we could ask for to celebrate the hellish invasion!" (Blaken)
Hospital,
The enemy mocked the officer, but its voice was drowned out by the sound of nuclear impacts.
The creature skinned itself, revealing a fiery red inner layer.
The officer attacked again, but the creature was too hot to handle. It lunged at the officer, crushing him against a wall and breaking free of the vines.
The officer pushed the creature out of the building, embedding both blades into its chest while burning himself. The enemy opened its wings to attack but was too weakened by poison seeping through the blades.
"You don't know anything about nature! My blades are in your veins now!" (Officer)
Together, they crashed into the city's central business district, landing in a massive pool of water
