She felt a tap on her shoulder as she turned, her eyes slowing getting use to the little light, squinting a bit she looked up and saw Ruby staring down at her with a sly smile on her lip.
A confused look in her eyes as she looked at her as she saw Ruby's eyes turn mischievous, she felt a tug on her wrist, her body roughly lifting off the couch as she staggered violently. Stil drowsy from sleep she tried fruitless to pull herself out of Ruby's grip. " What's going on" she asked Ruby a bit scared. Ruby snickered and said, "Alexander wants you out of his house right now." How's that possible, we're married, how can he say that, a million thought crossed her mind immediately. Before she could say a word, she was roughly dragged out of the house with 2 men waiting outside. They dragged her to the trunk of the car, and pushed her in, locking it immediately. "Take her far away from here" she could hear Ruby say to them as she banged on the trunk, asking to be let out. Soon she felt the car moving, far away from the Mason's mansion, she could barely see as the trunk was congested, her breath slowing as each minute passed, she felt congested due to the lack of ventilation. Slowly, she could feel her breath slowing down as she passed out.

The smell of antiseptic filled the room, it was so strong but Aurora couldn't open her eyes no matter how much she tried. "Am I dead" she asked herself almost like a whisper, passing out once again.
Aurora's eyes slowly opened, looking around her, she noticed she was in a hospital, a man with his back turned to her was talking to the doctor, as if noticing she was already awake, they both turned. The doctor rushing up to her, took her temperature and checked her eyes. "Seems like your situation has stabilized, you just need a little rest and you can leave."
She nodded gently, trying to look over the doctor's shoulder to see who it was. A head filled with dark hairs slowly unveiled showing Alexander. What could he be doing? She asked herself and quickly closed her eyes. A shadow towered over her, she open her eyes a bit and came face to face with Alexander. A little smile could be seen on his face, Aurora swiftly shut her eyes again, this time a little chuckle escaped from his lips as he lightly pinched her check.
"Ouch" she gasped staring at him wide eyed, "that hurts." He gently brushed his finger over her cheek and smiled at her.
"Couldn't you have been a little more careful? landing in the hospital just few days after joining the family, have you always been this careless?" he asked her.
The memories from the previous night came rushing back to her, should she tell him his precious lover was the one behind it? Will he believe her? " I'll try to not cause trouble for you anymore, I'm so sorry" she said to him. He stared at her intensely trying to figure out why she was so lost in thought, after trying for a while, he turned and left the room, his security at the door following right behind him.
"Find out how she ended up where she was found" he said coldly to his head of security, Vincent. Vincent gave a little bow and left with 2 of the men.
Aurora spent the next 2 days in the hospital with Gretchen and Adrian visiting her at the end of each day. She never got to see Alexander again after he left with his men. She wasn't complaining tho, the man made her nerves spiral.
The gate of the Manson mansion appeared before her, she never realized how fond she have grown of the place, as she stepped into the house, a sense of fondness over came her. The smell of fragrance and dishes being made filled her nose as she salivated. The meals served at the hospital was nothing to write home about. A maid escorted her up to her room, carrying her bags, she noticed that they were not heading to the direction of the room she shared with Alexander but to the opposite direction. She said nothing as she followed behind the maid, they stopped in front of room, the maid brought out a set of keys and opened the room. The door opened and she was dumbfounded, the room was beautiful, almost as if everything in there was customized just for her, the lighting was like a cherry on top. She walked in, slowing taking the scenery in,heading to the balcony, the view was breathtaking.
"Young Master Alex asked for the room to be prepared for you, let us know if anything is not to your liking" she heard the maid say. What could possibly not be to her liking? She loved the room. " I love it, thank you" she said to the maid. "Your clothings are already in the closet and more were added" the maid said opening a big walk-in closet filled with dresses, shoes and bags. Aurora walked into the closet, her eyes bulging, with a wide smile on her face. "These are so beautiful" she said with a big smile on her face. "What can I call you?" She asked the maid. "Prisca ma'am" she said bowing a bit. "Prisca thank you, I love them all" Aurora said.
"Ma'am you should say thank you to Young master Alex, he handpicked them himself" Prisca said with a little smile while bowing.
Alexander did this? Why do I feel so warm knowing he did this? It probably wasn't a big deal to him. She said to herself trying to brush out the warm feeling within her as she realized he was probably in the hand of another woman at the moment.
"I'll prepare a bath for you now, after freshening up, dinner will be ready." Prisca said to her and left.
Aurora stood in her position for a while before taking a sit. I guess we're just married in papers, we even have separate rooms now. A look of sadness flashed in her eyes but was soon masked. She changed out of her dress and went to take her bath.
