Chapter 1 - Chapter one

"Seek him out and bring him here Immediately!" When Mason yelled at the black-clad men, they fled like tiny squirrels. His voice made Aurora wince. Her blood froze when she looked up at him and glanced down. She suddenly lost the ability to recognise him. Mason simply didn't resemble the defenceless old attractive man she had met the day before. This was the first time she had ever seen him this way before. She was aware of the several sets of eyes on her as she glanced around. Even she didn't know the answers to some of their queries, but she could see the invisible question marks on their heads. Questions like "was she so horrible that she had to be stood up on her wedding day?" "I heard she was just a mistress who came between two lovers" suddenly began to surface.

To her ears alone, it sounded as loud as a gong. She looked in the direction of the whisper and saw that it was a sassy young woman conversing with her friend while they both giggled. She never thought she would be standing up to her fiance while wearing the most exquisite wedding gown she had ever seen. Although it wasn't in her plan, life has a way of upending our plans. "Mr. Lundy, I'm afraid I'll have to call off the wedding if your son doesn't arrive any time soon," the priest said. Mason approached the priest slowly with a smile, but the priest's expression slowly turned into one filled with fear. Aurora slowly looked in the direction of the priest's gaze, she gasped slightly. A gun was sticking out of the Jean Mason was wearing. What's a gun doing in a wedding reception, that was the first thought that crossed her mind. The priest carefully said," maybe we can wait a bit longer." As soon as the word left his mouth, a beautiful looking man walked in with 2 hefty men behind him. " Finally the groom is here," Aurora could hear someone say. She looked up at the door and saw him. There he is, the one who's mostly a stranger but definitely a good looking one, the one she has never met but is supposed to be married to.

The groom walked up, stared at her with disgust and turned to the priest. "Hurry and get this wedding done with."

The wedding ended just as soon as it began, immediately the vows and rings were exchanged, the groom was nowhere to be found. Strangers walked up to her and congratulated her while also snickering at her misfortune. It was a well known fact that Alexander, her groom has a woman who his heart belonged to and she definitely wasn't the one.

"Soon he'll come around"Mason said as he walked up to her, " he has no choice than to succum, I'm his father after all." She smiled politely not knowing what to say.

A long line of very expensive cars escorted the bride and her father in law back to the Lundy's vast estate. Servants and other family members stood outside to welcome the newest member of the Lundy's family. A family well know across the country for its generational wealth and influence.

The couples bedroom was already decorated in preparation for their wedding night, immediately Aurora got into the Lundy's mansion she was in awe, " fuck, how large is this mansion, enough to contain her whole neighborhood." She was escorted to the room by a servant. " Family dinner will be ready by 8, freshen up and let me know if you need anything, ma'am" she bowed slightly and left the room closing it behind her. "What the hell just happened," she chuckled,"I'm being treated like loyalty." With that thought in mind she gently took off her wedding dress, as the dress slides down her waist, the door opens violently. Shocked she turned to see the intruder, her gaze met with that of her groom, Alexander. He was staring at her ferociously, like a storm was brewing in his eyes. She was frightened but tried as much as she can to hide it, till he started approaching her, slowing. Her heart sank to her stomach, " what's he doing" she thought to herself, " how loud can I screamed and will anyone come save me from the savage man" he kept approaching her slowly, bidding his time as if he enjoys seeing the fear in her eyes. At that moment it occurred to her, " oh my God, I'm half-naked" her bosom was exposed to the prying eyes of Alexander, she tried using her hands to cover herself but her little hands could barely cover a part. He slid up behind her, turning her to her back while her breasts were pressed up against the cold walls. "What does he want from me? Will he hurt me? And while the fuck am I turned on by this?" Her thoughts were spiraling, several thoughts crosssed her mind but it all crashed when she felt his lips move from her neck to her ears, his hot breaths filled her ears and caused a pool in the lower region of her feminine body.

"What the hell are you doing in my room"his low dangerous voice filled her ears. Confusion rosed in the eyes. " I was told this is where I'll be staying from now." She said to him as calmly can she could bring herself to be. His hands slowly moved up to her waist, turning her so she could face him, his eyes filled with contempt. He dragged her by the arm, heading to the door, opened it and threw her out of the room along with her wedding dress. "Stay far away from me" he icily said and shut the door behind him. She laid on the ground,a little part of her ankle bruised, very confused about what just happened, she sat up and stared into oblivion. Soon enough she was fast asleep, very exhausted from waiting a long time for her groom and the wedding reception.

A servant came up to call the couple down for dinner and saw Aurora dozing off at the entrance of the room, she gently tapped her but she was fast asleep. She knocked on Alexander's door to let him know his bride is fast asleep out the room and to let him know that dinner is ready. He came out and asked her to leave, telling her they will come down for dinner soon and she left. Looking down, he saw the petite lady laying by the stairway, a little look of sympathy flashed through his eyes but was soon lost by the scorn he felt. He walked up to her, picked her up in his arms and carried her to the room.
