chapter 2
I. THE WEIRDEST DREAM
I took a deep breath and began to recount my dream to Dominique, Professor Mac, Mr. Daniel Walker, and Fynn Blessing. I told them about the symbol on the wall, the Ghost of McTavish, and the feeling of being trapped in a living nightmare.
As I spoke, I could see the concern etched on their faces. Dominique looked like he was about to pass out, while Professor Mac nodded thoughtfully. Mr. Daniel Walker looked pale and worried, while Fynn Blessing seemed to be studying me with an intensity that made my skin crawl.
When I finished speaking, there was a moment of silence. Then, Professor Mac spoke up.
"Lilweyni, it's clear that you're experiencing some kind of paranormal activity," he said. "But we need to be careful. We don't know what we're dealing with here."
Mr. Daniel Walker nodded in agreement. "I think we should get to the bottom of this," he said. "Lilweyni, can you tell me more about the symbol on the wall?"
I nodded, trying to remember every detail. As I spoke, Fynn Blessing listened intently, her eyes never leaving mine.
When I finished speaking, Professor Mac stood up. "I think we've talked enough for tonight," he said. "Lilweyni, try to get some rest. We'll investigate further tomorrow."
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. As I lay in bed, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. I kept looking over my shoulder, expecting to see the Ghost of McTavish lurking in the shadows.
But as the night wore on, I eventually drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up feeling groggy and disoriented. Dominique was already up, studying for our upcoming exam.
"Hey, man, how are you feeling?" he asked, looking up from his notes.
I rubbed my temples, trying to shake off the remnants of my weird dream. "I'm okay, I guess," I said. "Just a little shaken up."
Dominique nodded sympathetically. "Yeah, I can imagine," he said. "But we need to focus on our studies. We have a big exam coming up, and we can't afford to fail."
I nodded, knowing he was right. As we headed to class, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The university seemed to be watching me, waiting for me to make my next move.
And I knew that I was not alone. The Ghost of McTavish was still out there, waiting for me.
As we walked into class, I saw Fynn Blessing sitting in the back row, her eyes fixed intently on me. I felt a shiver run down my spine as our eyes met.
And I knew that today was going to be a very long day.
II. The Ghost of McTavish Strikes
As I sat down in my seat, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Fynn Blessing's eyes seemed to be boring into my soul, and I could feel the presence of the Ghost of McTavish lurking just out of sight.
Suddenly, the lights in the classroom began to flicker, and a cold wind swept through the room. The students around me looked up in confusion, wondering what was happening.
And then, the Ghost of McTavish appeared.
It stood at the front of the classroom, its eyes blazing with a malevolent fury. The students around me screamed, trying to run for cover.
But it was too late.
The Ghost of McTavish began to strike, its ghostly form swooping through the classroom with a deadly precision. Students were thrown to the ground, their bodies twitching and convulsing as if possessed by some kind of dark energy.
I watched in horror as the Ghost of McTavish struck again and again, its power growing with each passing moment. The classroom was a scene of utter chaos, with students screaming and running for their lives.
And then, I saw Fynn Blessing.
She was standing at the back of the classroom, her eyes fixed intently on the Ghost of McTavish. She seemed to be...controlling it, somehow.
The Ghost of McTavish struck again, and another student fell to the ground. But Fynn Blessing didn't flinch. She just kept watching, her eyes burning with an otherworldly intensity.
I knew then that I had to get out of there. I had to escape the university, and the Ghost of McTavish's deadly wrath.
I turned to run, but it was too late. The Ghost of McTavish had already seen me. It began to move towards me, its eyes blazing with a malevolent fury.
And then, everything went black.
When I came to, I was lying on the ground outside the university. The students around me were staring at me in shock, their faces pale and frightened.
"What...what happened?" I stammered, trying to sit up.
One of the students helped me to my feet. "The Ghost of McTavish struck," he said, his voice shaking. "It...it threw you out of the classroom. You were lucky to escape."
I looked around, trying to take in what had happened. The university was in chaos, with students running and screaming in all directions.
And then, I saw Fynn Blessing.
She was standing at the entrance of the university, her eyes fixed intently on me. She seemed to be...waiting for me, somehow.
I knew then that I had to get out of there. I had to escape the university, and Fynn Blessing's sinister plans.
I turned to run, but it was too late. Fynn Blessing had already seen me. She began to move towards me, her eyes burning with an otherworldly intensity.
And then, everything went black again.
This time, I didn't come back.
