Chapter 1 - One hour Power Nap

You ever go to take a nap on your couch, only to wake up and not know what time zone your in, or why your oddly wet?

Well, something like that is what I'm currently experiencing, except I don't remember falling asleep in an endless ocean, and I really don't remember going to bed with no clothes on.

Ok, let's take. A few steps back, what exactly do, we remember, well, my name is Theodore, Theodore Digger, I know, bad name I prefer to go by Theo, I remembered that my little shit brother calls me door to piss me off, I remember I'm a big fan of fantasy, like, The Hobbit or The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe I also like to talk to myself, is it out of boredom? Some deep seeded trauma? Mental desease? Fuck if I know, all I do know is that I do.

What's the last thing I remember, right I was… I had just gotten done for the day with my Janitor work at Peaks Horison, I got home, I was so tired, so I just flopped onto the couch for a quick Power Nap… and then…

I was here.

Where is here? Like I said before it's seemingly an endless body of water, I'm spread out all star fish like, I really hope no one's around, especially with my… stuff… just hanging out down there.

On second thought, I think my life is worth a little public indecency…

Here's the thing, the water is warm, well, not warm warm, just, luke warm? But it also feels like I have a second layer of skin that doesn't have a sense of touch, like all of the sensations around me are dulled, as if I both am and am not covered in something…

I look down at my body, and nope, nothing off here, just pale skin and a bunch of flab, though I guess in this situation insulation is pretty good.

That's not really the only thing, either, (I know, a lot of things, but I'm getting through them as fast as I can here, ok!) it's the sky and the sea.

The sky, is a sleet grey, like there are a bunch of clouds about to pour down rain, but the sea is a vibrant azure blue, as if the sun were out and there was not a cloud in sight, and the only reason I have for thinking the thing I'm floating in is anything like an ocean at all is the way my body is bobbing up and down, and the subtle waves…

Shadows work weirdly here, I still cast them, but they don't seem to effect the ocean, in fact, the only reason I can't see to the bottom of this sea is simply that I don't want to get too much salt water (?) in my eyes.
