Chapter 1 - Crow's new life

A crimson glow covered his eyes. Itachi Uchiha knew it was the end. The pain of death tormented his body, every cell screaming defeat. He saw his younger brother, Sasuke, his hatred and thirst for revenge, but in Itachi's eyes there was only calmness, and... hope. Hope that his sacrifice would not be in vain, that the future of the village would be protected.

But instead of falling into eternal darkness, Itachi felt something else. An unknown force, powerful and unfathomable, was tearing him apart and then putting him back together again. The world around him turned a kaleidoscope of bright colours and then fell into absolute silence.

He opened his eyes. Not the tired eyes of a warrior who had seen so much pain, but the small, clear eyes of a baby. He was lying in a cradle, warmly wrapped in a blanket, and a strange woman with a soft smile was leaning over him.

'Welcome to the world, Itachi,' came a melodious unknown voice.

Itachi? Had... Had he been reborn? His new name was the same as it had been in his previous life, and it was the only thing he could remember.

Time flowed, and Itachi grew up in a new world. His adoptive parents, Adeline and Adrian Blackwood, were kind and loving people. They were wizards, but lived in a quiet village where strange phenomena were sometimes spoken of. Itachi grew up watching and absorbing knowledge like a sponge. He learnt to read and write faster than his peers, his mind was sharp and inquisitive. However, he still remembered his past life like a dream that never left his mind.

He was cautious. He realised that his past powers were not with him. He had only the rudiments of magical energy, like all the children of this world, and a strange connection to his past life. He tried not to stand out, to seem like an ordinary boy. In his heart, however, he realised that his fate in this world would not be peaceful.

In Itachi's eighth year, a strange thing happened. Sitting in his room, he was going through old books when he felt a burning sensation in his eyes. A sharp pain shot through him and the world around him went dark. When his vision returned, he saw everything in a new light. His irises were bright scarlet, and two tomoes flaunted on them.

Sharingan!

Itachi couldn't believe it. Had his power been reborn with him?

He was startled and immediately suppressed the awakening of his power, returning his eyes to their former colour. This had become his secret. Itachi realised he had to be careful, he couldn't give away his true nature. He trained in secret, developing his magical abilities, but always remembering his former life. His goal in this new world was not destruction or revenge, but to protect his family, he did not want a repeat. He wanted to create a world where there would be no war and suffering, even if it meant doing dark things.

Itachi's eleventh birthday crept up unnoticed, like a silent beast creeping in the night. He woke up feeling a strange excitement, as if he was expecting something important. The morning light coming through the window of his room seemed especially bright. He went downstairs where his foster parents were already waiting for him with a small cake and presents.

Adeline and Adrian were smiling, their eyes glowing with love. They had never made him feel adopted, he was their own son. Itachi tried to respond to them with the same warmth, though deep down he felt that something would change with this day. He blew out the candles, accepted the gifts and thanked his parents, but his mind was far away.

Later, after breakfast, Itachi retired to his room. He pulled out an old, tattered diary and began writing down his thoughts. He wrote about his training, his dreams, his past life that seemed far away and yet very close at the same time. He wrote about his Sharingan, which he still couldn't fully control, and how he tried to keep it hidden from view.

Suddenly, his musings were interrupted by a strange knock. Not at the door, but as if at a window. Itachi went to the window and saw something strange. On the windowsill sat a huge owl, with feathers the colour of night and large, intelligent eyes. In its beak was clutched a thick parchment tied with a purple ribbon. The owl didn't move, as if waiting for something.

Itachi carefully opened the window and took the letter. He knew immediately what it was. A letter from Hogwarts. His heart beat faster, as if anticipating the inevitable change. He printed out the letter and read it, trying to contain his excitement. The letter said that he had been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There was a list of things he needed and instructions for the start of the school year.

Itachi carefully read the letter several times, trying to memorise every detail. He knew this was a chance, but also a new danger. He couldn't just go to Hogwarts like a normal kid. He needed to prepare himself.

He decided to tell his parents everything first. When he told Adeline and Adrian about the letter, they were sympathetic. They promised to help him in any way they could.

In the weeks before he left for Hogwarts, Itachi had been studying hard. He read books on magic, studied the spells he had been sent with the letter, and trained his Sharingan, trying to improve his control over it. He learnt how to quickly switch it between its normal and activated states. But he always remembered to be careful, he didn't want to reveal his true potential.

He also took the time to train his body, for not everything at Hogwarts could be solved by magic. He knew that his shinobi skills would come in handy, and he tried to keep them in shape. He trained in the quiet of the woods behind the house, honing his skills.

Finally, the day of departure came. Adeline and Adrian walked him to platform 9 where he was to board the Hogwarts Express. Itachi hugged his parents and promised to write to them. He felt the sadness of parting, but at the same time he was overwhelmed with curiosity and excitement.

He walked through the wall, and found himself on the platform. Crowds of students and their parents filled the platform, each with their own suitcases and pet cages. Itachi looked around, trying not to draw attention to himself. He saw a huge scarlet train, steam billowing from its pipes, and realised that this was the Hogwarts Express.

He found an empty compartment and sat by the window, watching the crowd of students enter the train. His heart was pounding. He was in the middle of the world of magic, and he didn't know what awaited him. But he was ready. He was Itachi Uchiha, and he would protect this small but important piece of the world

The train touched down, and the Hogwarts Express began its journey into the world of magic. Itachi looked out the window, watching the scenery outside the window change.

Green fields were replaced by forests, and everything was filled with some special, magical atmosphere. He felt the magic hovering in the air, like an invisible force permeating everything around him.

He was alone in the compartment, and that suited him fine. He could calmly think over everything that had happened and plan his future actions.

He realised that Hogwarts wasn't just a school, it was a place where he could gain the knowledge and skills he needed to achieve his goal. But he also realised that he needed to be careful. He couldn't trust anyone, at least not until he knew them better.

They were gathered at the shore of the lake, where small boats were waiting for them. Itachi looked around, and his attention was caught by the reflections of the castle in the dark surface of the water. A light haze hung in the air, adding to the mysterious atmosphere.

He saw a huge castle perched on a hill, and its grandeur amazed him. The castle was majestic and mysterious, as if it held many secrets.

The freshmen were seated in boats, and they slowly floated down the lake towards the castle. Itachi sat quietly, watching what was happening. The castle towered above them, its windows shimmering like eyes looking down on them. He felt that the castle held many secrets and mysteries, and he was ready to uncover them. This place aroused both curiosity and wariness in him at the same time.

The freshmen were gathered and led to the Great Hall where their distribution awaited them. Itachi followed the crowd, trying not to draw attention to himself. In the Great Hall, he was struck by the many floating candles creating a mysterious atmosphere and the four long tables where the upperclassmen sat. He saw the professors sitting at the main table and realised that they were important people in this magical world.

The distribution ceremony began, and one by one the freshmen sat down on a stool and the Distribution Hat told them which faculty they should go to. Itachi watched this process carefully, trying to understand how this hat worked. He felt that it could see into his mind and his past, and that made him a little uneasy.

Finally, it was his turn. He sat down on a stool, and the old, tattered hat came down on his head.

'Hmm, interesting,' the hat spoke in a voice that seemed to resound in his head. 'A very interesting mind, sharp and perceptive. And potential... Oh, what potential! But there is darkness too, deep and dark. Ambition, cunning, lust for power... Slytherin, no doubt. But there are other paths, brighter ones...'

Itachi remained silent, trying not to give away his emotions. He knew that the Hat could sense his past life, his true nature. He tried to suppress it, but it was difficult.

'No, you've chosen your path,' the Hat muttered, and then, loud and clear, announced: 'Slytherin!'

Applause erupted at the Slytherin table, and Itachi, slightly relieved, rose from his chair and walked towards his new faculty.

Itachi's first days at Hogwarts were filled with new discoveries and challenges. He began learning magic, attending classes and getting to know the other students. He was quiet and reserved, but his mind was sharp and he learnt new knowledge quickly.

Life in Slytherin was not as easy as he had expected. The other Slytherins were ambitious and cunning, they tried to assert their superiority, and not everyone was friendly. Itachi tried not to get into conflicts, but he wasn't about to bend to someone else's will. He was his own master.

He noticed some of the older students, such as Draco Malfoy and his minions. He also noticed professors like Snape, who seemed very mysterious and stern. Itachi studied them all, trying to understand their motives and goals. He realised that Hogwarts was not only a school, but also a battlefield where everyone had a role to play.

In his free time, Itachi continued to train. He trained his Sharingan, trying to improve his control over it. He also studied magic spells that seemed useful to him. He realised that his powers were his advantage and he should use them wisely.

He began to make plans. He knew that there were dark forces in this world that wanted to take over, and he had to be ready for battle. He realised that he couldn't just sit back and wait for things to happen. He has to take action. He must protect this world, even if he has to get his hands dirty to do so.

Itachi Uchiha, reborn in this magical world, was no ordinary student. He was a shadow watching from the darkness, and he was willing to do whatever it took to protect this world. His journey was just beginning, and he knew that many challenges awaited him.

After buying all the essentials for himself and boarding the magical train he Came to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Itachi was amazed. The castle was grand and full of mystery, and the students seemed so naive.

Itachi realised that in this new world, his mission remained the same. To protect. And he would do whatever was required of him. He would be the dark shadow playing his part in this magical chessboard. He will be the one to protect the world from the impending threat, even if he has to get his hands dirty to do so.

He will not be a hero, no. He will be a shadow, watching from the darkness, and doing what is necessary. His heart, holding the memory of pain and sacrifice, was ready for a new battle. Itachi Uchiha, in this new world, once again stood up for himself, and even though his actions would not always be clear, they would always serve one purpose: preserving the peace, even at the cost of his own reputation. He will, as he did in his previous life, defend this world from the shadows.
