In a world where cultivation is everything, where strength is the only path to survival and power, there exists a paradox—Li Jue the false immortal, a being who should have never existed in the eyes of all but who would soon challenge the very foundations of this world. This is the story of a boy, once humble and weak, who would rise against fate itself, twisting the very essence of cultivation to his own whims, becoming an existence both feared and despised. Chapter 1 - The Weakest of the Weak

The Eastern Azure Continent was a land dominated by powerful sects, immortal cultivators, and legendary beasts. Every child born to this world was expected to cultivate their inner strength from a young age, working tirelessly to achieve immortality. But in the quiet corner of a small village, there was a boy who was different. His name was Li Jue, and from the day he was born, he was cursed.

While his peers awakened their spiritual roots and embarked on their journey to cultivate, Li Jue discovered that he had none. He was what the cultivators called a "rootless"—a person who could never cultivate, who would remain weak and insignificant for all his days. In the harsh world of cultivation, that meant death for anyone like him. Yet, Li Jue survived. He survived by sheer will, learning how to manipulate the world around him using his wit and intellect, his unwillingness to bow to fate, and most of all, his ability to deceive.

As a child, he spent countless hours studying the ancient texts of cultivation, but unlike others who sought to grow their power, Li Jue sought the path of deception. He learned the language of the ancient beings, how to manipulate spiritual energy, and how to twist the laws of cultivation. Every book, every forbidden text, every ancient artifact that came his way was viewed not as a means of strengthening the body, but of distorting the system of cultivation itself.
