Elias walked deeper into the temple, his steps measured and deliberate.
The farther he went, the quieter it became, the hum of prayers fading into the background. The familiar scent of herbs and incense mingled with the cool air, calming him slightly.
But despite the peaceful surroundings, his mind churned with unease.
He needed to speak with Fenrir.
After winding through several corridors, Elias finally arrived at a secluded section of the temple.
Fenrir was reclining lazily on a wooden bench, his arms stretched out behind him. He looked perfectly at ease, as though he had no care in the world.
His dark hair fell loosely around his shoulders, and a sly smirk played on his lips as Elias approached.
"Well, well," Fenrir drawled, sitting up slightly. "Look who's decided to grace me with his presence."
Elias rolled his eyes. He wasn't in the mood for Fenrir's games. "We need to talk."
