Synopsis

Chapter 1 - Kanata and Silver haired girl.

As the morning wind whistles.

The moving grass and leaves provide a refreshing breath of life that he had missed in his Tokyo life, but even after being in this world for the past 7 years, the guy has always felt that it is far too pleasant for a shut-in like himself.

'Another nice day to start some dungeon diving,' Kanata muttered as he removed his shirt after brushing.

His slim figure and well-defined muscles were visible, but the explosive strength within them was not to be laughed at.

After all, he was level max in the majority of the classes he had taken, and with the boost that each level brought, even a fat guy from his world could win the title of galaxy champion if it existed in a previous world.

For this reason, he always finds pride in his impressive muscles.

Despite living alone for the past seven years, Kanata was beginning to consider leaving the place where he had lived after being reincarnated in this manner.

After that he washed himself in the river.

Dried himself with the daily-life magic.

Wore some new clothes that he had enchanted from the dungeon material.

Opened the system shop to order something to eat.

Eating the nice dishes, though at his level, he really doesn't need food anymore to live. But eating is all for the taste.

'Hmm. Should I take a rest today from dungeon diving? I can watch some new movie or something today! To spend some time.' His thoughts were chaotic, but at this moment he did not know that the fate of a star was already changing within his life.

One can avoid a decision, but one can't avoid one's fate in this world.

At this moment.

A kilometre or so away from the Kanata position, a huge figure of the deadliest prey in the desert land was flying at rapid speed.

A girl's figure was visible inside the wyvern's grasp, her eyes glowing in an odd light, blood dripping from her hand.

The girl also had bitter tears in her eyes. As she gripped her hand stubbornly, the pain twisting until she grimaced, she looked at the claw with resentment and anger before slashing the dagger she was holding inside that hand, inside the soft spot left by her guard's last attempt to slash its claw to save the girl, but all he encountered was a fatal blow from the beak, crushing him into meat paste.

'Craw!!!' A ferocious yell caused the girl to plummet from that height as it spread its claw. The wyvern appeared extremely enraged by the girl's behaviour, and with a ferocious gleam in its eyes, it ultimately chose to murder her before taking her to its nest.

"Ahh! Nice drink." Completely sipping the cold drink, Kanata chuckled at the nice weather when he felt something and looked up at the sky.

'Ohh! That's resilience.' When Kanata saw the girl still holding her dagger after collapsing in that state, ready to launch another attack, he finally considered how he could meet another human being and decided not to let her perish.

The wyvern was ready to deliver another attack.

[Class Initiate: Ranger.]

[Level: Grade 0 (Lvl.Max)]

'Skill Merge + Level 10 Pierce + Level 10 Focus Shot.'

With a slight bow pull and a small smile on his face, Kanata used basic skills to prevent the girl's injury from being caused by the magic wave of other heavy skills.

He chose to limit the two skills' mastery level to the lowest level-10, and he took his shot.

Even so, the mana condensed within that skill, causing his rusty and blunt practice arrow to shine with a fierce light.

With eagle eyes and physical skill, he shot straight at the descending Wyvern, whose speed would have embarrassed any sonic jet from the earth.

However, his arrow arrived first, and while its hardest part, its beak, was destroyed, the fierce arrow completely mutilated the Wyvern's body.

The girl was ready for her end, but the moment she opened her eyes, what she saw completely shook the girl's worldview.

The enemy that almost destroyed a whole army was blasted by what she saw was definitely an arrow.

'Legendary arrow, or something.' Her thoughts aligned toward it, never thinking it was just a rusty training arrow.

Until the arrow glowing light vanished and a rusty arrow fell down from the corpse of the wyvern, that left the girl beyond speechless.

Tears started to drop from her eyes.

Humiliation of how easily the enemy they consider a national-level threat was killed with something like a rusty arrow.

The fact, on how she lost most of her loyal friends.

The realization of how pitiful her efforts were for all her lifetime.

AND THE FACT.

That she is left alone in this world.

'Wind Cushion.' Kanata jumped from the hillside at which his mansion was created and caught the girl, who was falling down slowly due to his spell, from the Magus class.

The girl's expression looked pained. As her tears continued to fall from her eyes, with the silver hair cascading down from her head, making her look pitiful and weak in his embrace, she barely tried to calm herself down.

"It's alright. Just keep crying. We'll talk later, but before that, shall we go to my home? We need to treat your injuries too." Kanata spoke to her in a calm tone.

After getting reincarnated into this world. In reality, the god who sent him here was very thoughtful and kind, giving him a sage house with nearly everything he could possibly need, including the entrance to the infinite dungeon and abyss.

He could farm there every day to earn points by killing monsters, which he could then use to purchase anything from the system shop, which was a very useful feature.

Plus, he had a pretty happy life for the past seven years, with a waterfall for a refreshing bath and a refreshing scene in front of him every day, which truly made him a shut-in.

Saying that, Kanata simply leaped from the trees without listening to the girl's words. Then, using the wind-based boost spell, he began to climb the hilltop at a rapid pace, leaving the girl stunned as she watched the high motion and speed.

'Is he some kind of sage?'

Her eyes wander on Kanata's face.

Though still dripping with tears of relief after getting saved like that, and the intense pain of thinking how she had lost a major part of her life.

She felt her life becoming a bit dull and collapsing at a deep part of her heart. Which was noticed by Kanata, but at this moment, he kept it silent, as rashly speaking at her current stage would only put her mind into a more vulnerable state.

Kanata knew that he had to take it slow this time.
