__________
"What is this?" Kaizen looked up and found himself on a deserted island. There was an endless blue sky in front of him, and occasionally, a few seagull-like birds flew by.
Kaizen noticed that the white shirt he had bought yesterday was now tattered and draped over his body like a rag. He vaguely remembered staying up late to watch One Piece the night before. He had been so addicted to it that he didn't notice the water cup next to him. It seemed that he had been electrocuted somehow. But how did he end up on this island?
[Ding! The system is ready, but the conditions are insufficient and it cannot be activated!]
Just as Kaizen was puzzled, a crisp metallic sound echoed, and these words burst out.
This voice startled Kaizen, and he immediately became curious, "Who is talking?"
Just as he was wondering, his consciousness was suddenly transferred to an interface. But the interface was grey. Having played games before, Kaizen knew that this meant it was unusable.
However, the introduction on the upper right side of the interface caught his attention:
[Name: Kaizen Roronoa]
[Initial points: 100]
[Berries number: 0]
[Current situation: The host has successfully crossed into the world of One Piece. Now it all depends on the host's wisdom. (The host is currently in the novice protection period.)]
Kaizen's face twitched. This sentence was so irresponsible. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being betrayed.
The initial points were probably used to exchange items in the system. He glanced at the store in the list and thought to himself. As for Berries, everyone who had watched One Piece would know about it.
Now, he just didn't know how to activate this system, so Kaizen exited the system while muttering to himself. He looked at the sea and sky in the distance. The only thing that made Kaizen feel relieved was that the air in the world of One Piece was so fresh!
"Okay! Now that I am here, Ace can't die! I have to wake up and take over the world!" After being stunned for a long time, Kaizen suddenly shouted like a lunatic, startling countless birds on the island behind him. Kaizen didn't care at all, and deliberately lowered his voice and sneered, "Drunk on the lap of a beauty!"
___
In the blink of an eye, Kaizen had been in this world for two months. Kaizen had long discovered a problem—a very serious problem—there was no boat! Without a boat, let alone taking power over the world, even saving Ace was a hassle. He didn't even know how Ace was doing right now.
Kaizen was worried about Ace but also about himself. He feared that he might die of old age on this deserted island, living off wild fruits and snails every day.
Looking at the sea and sky in the distance, Kaizen sighed helplessly. He decided not to make any more futile struggles and instead focus on figuring out what to do for dinner. But just as Kaizen was about to leave, the shadow of a ship suddenly appeared on the sea.
Kaizen immediately shouted desperately, "Hey! I'm here! I'm here! Help! Help! Yamedie! Yamedie!" Kaizen spoke three languages in one breath. Although he couldn't speak Japanese, Kaizen thought that men always cared about these three words, so he decisively shouted them, hoping for survival. But the ship didn't respond to him, as if it hadn't seen him.
Kaizen, anxious, jumped into the sea without hesitation. He waved his arms vigorously and kept tossing on the waves. The hard training in the past two months had not only tempered Kaizen mentally but also made him stronger physically. It didn't take long before Kaizen reached the side of the ship.
When he got closer to the ship, Kaizen could see its specific appearance. Most of the ship was made of wood, and the surface was painted light blue. There were ferocious cannons on the sides of the ship, just like the naval ships in One Piece.
Kaizen secretly rejoiced, because ordinary people would rather encounter a navy ship than a pirate ship.
Although Kaizen shouted loudly, no one responded to him. He knew he couldn't waste his energy like this, as he was already feeling tired. If he continued, he would die in the sea. So he stopped shouting and began to swim along the ship. After a while, he found a rope on the side of the ship. He picked up the rope with great excitement and pulled it. When he was sure he could get up, Kaizen didn't hesitate and began to climb onto the ship using the rope.
After getting on the ship, Kaizen was so tired that he collapsed on the deck. He hadn't had time to think while in the sea before. Now that he calmed down, he found that there seemed to be no one on the ship. Kaizen felt a sense of fear when he thought about it. He didn't dare delay any longer. He immediately got up and carefully examined the ship.
Where did the rancid smell of the sea breeze come from? There were so many suspicious points on this unmanned ship. Kaizen didn't hesitate. The most important thing was to find some food and daily necessities first; the rest could be dealt with later.
Thinking this, Kaizen went toward the cabin. The structure of the ship was very simple. The front was a hall, which should be the dining area, and the back should be the dormitory. It looked exactly like a navy ship from One Piece.
Squeak!
When Kaizen opened the door, a harsh sound echoed. It was a noise unique to wooden doors. It seemed no one had been in the hall for a long time. There was dust everywhere, and a few mice scurried across the floor, as if searching for food.
Seeing that there was no one there, Kaizen continued walking forward through the door in the hall that led directly to the dormitory. Although everything on the ship suggested no one was around, Kaizen still held out a glimmer of hope.
If Kaizen hadn't believed before that he had traveled to One Piece, what happened next confirmed the fact that he had.
Because he saw dead people in the dormitory. These people were lying on the boat with pale faces, frowning brows, and no signs of life. This occurred in three or four dormitories. Some of them had rolled eyes and stuck out tongues. The only common symptom was their pale complexion, most likely from dying while struggling.
If it had been Kaizen from two months ago, he would have fled immediately, but Kaizen now told himself that he couldn't escape. If he did, he would still die on this deserted island.
So, Kaizen forced himself to stay calm and approached the room with the words "Lieutenant General" engraved on the door.
Inside, there was still a pale-faced middle-aged man lying on the bed, his mouth open, eyes rolled back, and his right hand stretched out as if trying to grab something.
Kaizen came to the desk and finally found what he had been hoping for—a navigation diary.
Given the strange circumstances on the ship, the only thing that could provide an answer was this log.
"X year X month X day in the Haiyuan calendar"
Dear Lisa, I have good news for you. I have been selected by my superior to carry out this mission. My superior has promised me that as long as I complete the mission, he will promote me to brigadier general. I think it is not too late for us to get married.
"X month X day"
We sailed on the sea for two weeks and finally arrived at our destination. God bless us. If we continue like this, we will die in the vast ocean before completing our mission. By the way, Lisa, let me tell you that my general appreciates me very much and told me that this mission is to find a devil fruit for the Celestial Dragons. Damn these pig-like Celestial Dragons who can do nothing but command us. How unfair this world is.
"X month X day"
We walked around the island for a few more days. This island is really strange. The further we go inside, the darker the weather becomes. There are volcanic craters everywhere on the island. Lisa, I think if I don't pay attention, you will lose your fiancé.
"X month X day"
My dear Lisa, I have some unfortunate news for you, but it is lucky for me. The devil fruit was found, but there is an ancient fire dragon guarding it. Our generals had no choice but to let all the generals and above stay behind to cover our retreat. I think my brave generals must be in danger, and I am so lucky. You know, I was almost a general, but not only was I not left behind, I became the highest commander of this ship. This is really! Oh, God, please forgive me, I think I should feel sad for the generals.
Lisa, I don't think you know how much I miss you. I miss everything about you—your eyes, your nose, your lips, your graceful figure, and your plump breasts. Damn, I don't know how long it has been since we last met. We encountered a huge storm these days. Fortunately, our ship was not defeated by the storm, but we lost our way. Now we don't know when we can go home, do you understand? Lisa, I have regretted a little. Maybe I shouldn't have accepted this mission. The damn Celestial Dragons not only killed our general, but also killed us.
My Lisa, we seem to be cursed by that evil dragon. Our crew members began to die one after another. The scary thing is that the ship's doctor doesn't know the reason. Oh, my body is not as good as before. The six-style power that I am proud of is gradually decreasing. Lisa, where are you? I miss you!
