Chapter 37 Fat Peter

"Hmph~" Norton was walking down the street, carrying a bundle of ingredients and planning to make a feast. Suddenly, his Spider Telepathy tingled. He looked up and spotted Miles flying through the sky with a chubby version of Peter in his arms, pursued by police cars. "Hehe, that's really interesting," he thought. If he had brought a camera, Norton would have loved to take a snapshot of the fat Peter to show the Peter in his own universe.

Early the next morning, Norton and his two companions made their way to Oakmax Company in the Hudson Valley. "Wow, this is the power of technology," Gwen marveled, taken aback by everything she saw. Moments ago, Rosa had produced a universal capsule containing a motorcycle, which she explained was invented by Norton from her universe. "My dad is omnipotent."

Norton only took that as a compliment to himself. The three of them climbed onto the motorcycle, started the engine, and headed to the Hudson Valley. Not long after they entered the valley, they noticed Peter and Miles being pursued by the female Doctor Octopus. "Whoa, whoa, Otto," Norton remarked with a grin as he parked aside and put the motorcycle back in the capsule. "Be serious, it's time for us to make a move," Gwen said, patting him on the shoulder.

Meanwhile, Peter and Miles were relieved to have escaped. "Hahaha, I really am a good teacher from back then. You're talented, but not as good as I was," Peter bragged. Suddenly, Peter felt a strange sensation in his body and collapsed, weak and in pain. Miles wanted to catch him and the host, but they were snatched away by the female Doctor Octopus who had rushed in, tying Peter and Miles to a tree with webs.

"What the hell?" Miles wondered as three figures appeared before them. "Your show time, Gwen," Norton prompted, leaving it to her to handle the situation. Happily, Norton approached Peter and Miles. "Hey, guys." He removed his mask and greeted them. "My God! Dawn!" Miles and Peter exclaimed in surprise, realizing that the chubby Peter also existed in this universe. "We got it, we should go," Gwen announced, approaching with the host in her arms. "How many Spider-men are there?" Miles asked, bewildered by the sight of three different versions of Spider-Man.

"Go to Comic Con and see for yourself."

"What is Comic Con?" Just as Miles was pondering the question, Peter pulled him along and flew away with him.

On the bus, Peter stared at Rosa, who was being held by Gwen, with wide eyes. "Is this really your daughter? She's too cute." Peter even thought of having a baby with his own MJ.

"Yes, she's my daughter in another parallel universe." Driven by curiosity, Norton suddenly asked Fafu Peter, "What kind of person am I in your universe?"

"Embracing left and right, the beautiful life of luxury," Peter responded enviously, wondering why Norton didn't struggle with relationship issues like he did. Perceiving Gwen's gaze, Norton forced a smile and said, "How is that possible? The joke you told is really funny." Fortunately, there are only two of them now, and he has plenty of opportunities to prove them wrong. He is not like this in every universe.

"How did Uncle Peter get fat?" the innocent Rosa asked, looking at Peter's big belly. In Rosa's universe, although Peter is not a Spider-Man, he is a cheerful person and forms a happy family with Mary Jane, unlike the current Peter, who is haggard and bloated.

"Ahaha, before I came to this universe, I was very thin." Peter could only force a smile on his face.

"Look at you, is it because of Mary Jane?" Norton, knowing Peter well whether through the original work or as a friend, asked him.

"…Yes."

"Why? MJ is a very good girl," Gwen, as Mary Jane's best friend, raised a question.

Peter sighed, as if seeking advice, "MJ wants to have a child, but I'm a little scared."

"Why are you afraid?"

Rosa said from the side, "My parents said I am their happiest child. I've never seen an expression on my parents' faces like Uncle Peter's."

Peter was silent for a while, and then smiled genuinely, "Thank you, Xiao Wen, I don't think I'll be afraid anymore."

Miles, who had been silent, asked, "So, all three of you are from your own universe?"

"Uh-huh."

Everyone discussed their curiosities on the bus, and for the first time, Miles felt how vast the world truly was.
