Synopsis
I stopped under a tree to relax a little, the tree had a bench under it and a woman wearing a black coat, a black pair of sunglasses, and a black hat was sitting on the end of the bench. I sat down on the other end of the bench and relaxed for a little while, while I was relaxing, a song which I didn't like began to play on my headphones so I pulled out my phone and changed the song. The lady looked at me and looked away. "That's weird."  She said. I had my headphones on so I didn't hear her clearly but I knew she said something, I looked at her and removed my headphones. "Excuse me?" I said. The lady remained quiet for a little while. "I always thought members of the Blur never go out with their phones." The Blur is the name of our gang so I was shocked she knew I was part of them. "What are you talking about?" I asked curiously. The lady opened her purse, pulled out a black lipstick and slowly applied it on her lips. "Every morning you jog past this place, I've been watching you and your every move and I must say it, I like your personality, you seem like a pretty tough guy." "Okay listen to me lady, I don't know who the fuck you are and I don't know what you're talking about," I said, stood up and headed out. "Cole Nicolas AKA number one hundred, the son of Adam Nicolas, AKA number one." She said which drew my attention. I turned and looked at her, "Who are you?" I asked curiously. "With time you'll know, in the meantime, I have an offer for you." "I'm not interested bitch." I said and turned to leave. "I love the plan you came up with to rescue your father, honestly nothing could go wrong." Out of curiosity, I asked. "What are you talking about?" "The prison break, your father, or rather number one is going to die in two days and you're planning to rescue him today, or is it today or tomorrow?" I became extremely puzzled hearing this. "What the fuck?" I whispered. "Now I'm not going to speak about the offer here, but I'll listen if I were you, I could ruin your plan." She said. Cole Nickolas finds himself in a critical situation where he has to defend himself against hundreds of hardened criminals who want to kill him, things get even worse after he toils with Robert del Piero a dangerous Italian man who was the leader of the Pentagram estate.

Chapter 1 - Death Penalty

I was in the bathtub smoking some marijuana and drinking alcohol while listening to Bob Marley's music, ask a drug addict, they'll tell you that's the best combo ever. I always take long in the bathtub because I find the bathtub extremely comfortable. I had a couple of marijuana ready to be smoked so when I was done with the first one, I tossed it on the ground and picked another stick from the fancy portable table very close to the tub. I grabbed my lighter but before I could light it, I heard a vibrating sound, I noticed my phone ringing as I glanced at the fancy table, It was a call from our family lawyer. I stretched my hand to the phone and swiped the answer button to the left. I put the call on speaker to hear the other person's words without putting the phone on my ear.

The person on the other side of the phone said, "Hello, Mr Cole," but I didn't answer; instead, I lit my marijuana and continued to smoke because it was the one thing that brought me joy.

"Are you there sir?"

I answered in a very relaxing tone, "Yes."

"I'm sorry I have some bad news, sir,"

What he has to say doesn't fucking worry me. My words were, "Go on," after a brief pause.

The lawyer stated, "We didn't win the case, he's going for the death penalty."

After hearing this, I continued to smoke and remained silent. He said, "I'm so sorry sir," but I didn't respond. The lawyer, who felt terrible for me, enquired, "Are you okay?"

"Why would I be? I'm about to lose my dad," I answered with a grin on my face and a very composed tone.

The lawyer who anticipated my sadness remained silent for a while; I could sense he wanted to question me about my composure but was unable to do so.

"I'm sorry sir...if there is anything you need, you can always call."

"Actually there is one thing I need." He was intrigued by what I said.

"Okay, what's that?"

"Can you by any chance convince the judge or whosoever is in charge to keep him alive for at least four days, I wish to spend the last few days with him, there are things I need to say to him, things I need to apologize to him about, can you do this for me?"

"Well yeah, I mean even before you asked he was going to die in four days, that's how we do it, so whosoever is getting killed could say a proper goodbye to his friends and family."

After a little silence, I exhaled and said, "Wow, I never knew that's how it works, I mean it's not like I've had a loved one who ever went for the death penalty."

I laughed softly.

Even though he was perplexed by my calmness, the lawyer didn't enquire about it; I suppose he recognised it shouldn't be his business.

"Right, I should go now, do have a lovely day sir." He responded.

"You too," I answered before he hung up. I relaxed by leaning my back on the tub. Although it's awful that my dad is facing the death penalty, I'm not depressed; I don't know why, and I'm sure I'm not high on marijuana. Shortly after, I received a notification on my phone. I grabbed it up and looked at it to discover that it was a text from the girl on my dating site. I've been texting this girl online, April, and she seems like a great girl.

'Hello, Michael I'm sorry for the delayed response; I just returned from work.'

She seems like a pretty amazing girl even though I've not been completely honest with her, for a start my name is Cole, and she thinks I'm Micheal because I've been lying to her.

'It's okay April, how was work?'

I texted back, dropped my phone and rounded up in the bathtub, when I was done, I got my phone and headed to my room, I arrived at my room, walked to my closet, got one of my jackets then headed out of the house without my phone, I never leave the house with my phone.

I got into my car and drove off. While I was driving, my eyes were kinda blurry because I smoked a lot of marijuana and drank some alcohol. I drove carelessly and even when the traffic light was red, I didn't care.

30 minutes later I arrived at my destination, It was an abandoned supermarket. I got down from my car and headed straight in, when I got in, I saw some of my buddies.

Now these guys are dangerous, among them are drug dealers, organ traffickers, hackers and other hardened criminals. These guys never use their real names, they use numbers. The leader of drug dealer's name is number 7 because D is the 7th letter of the alphabet and D stands for Drugs, the leader of organ trafficking's name is number 15, because O is the 15th letter of the alphabet, and the O stands for Organ, and about the hacker, we only had one and his name was number eight, while the other criminal's street names, I've not been able to learn them. My name is Cole but they call me one hundred because I'm capable of doing everything they do.

The moment they saw me, they were excited. I arrived at them and embraced them because it's been a while since I came here.

"How are you doing hundred?" Number seven asked, even when we are alone, we never use our real names because we are the most careful gangs ever, anyone who mistakenly called our real name would be killed instantly and that was our first rule.

"I'm doing great."

"It's been a while since you came here man, and seeing you here makes me think you're here for something, what do you need?"

"Well, I need some men, I need to save my dad."

"Yeah that's true, what did the lawyer say?" Number 7 asked.

"He's going for the death penalty."

They all exclaimed when I said this.

"Man, this is bad."

"Yeah, in four days, he's going to be killed, so I need to save him before then."

"But how? We can't just storm into the prison holding heavy weapons, we need a plan." said number 7.

"Exactly, and again I'm a wanted asshole, I can't let the popo see my ass." said number 15, the leader of organ trafficking.

"Don't worry, I have a plan but I'm going to need an extra hand, it's why I'm here."

"You know we got your back."

"Good. Tomorrow night I'll tell you the plan, but the first step in achieving the plan is something only I should do."
