Joseph paced in his room, running a hand through his hair.
This wasn't supposed to happen.
He wasn't supposed to feel this way about Pharita.
But every time he saw her, he lost control.
His heart raced.
His thoughts became a mess.
And worst of all—Lisa noticed.
Lisa always noticed everything.
Joseph groaned, flopping onto his bed.
He needed to get a grip before things got worse.
Pharita, on the other hand, couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
She kept replaying the moment she had locked eyes with Joseph.
The way he froze.
The way his face turned red.
It wasn't normal.
And now that she thought about it…
It was Joseph staring at her the entire time.
But why?
Pharita wasn't the type to overthink things, but something told her that this wasn't just a coincidence.
Felix had been silent during the visit, mostly staying in his room.
But he wasn't blind.
He had seen the way Joseph kept glancing at Pharita.
Felix smirked.
"Interesting."
Joseph, his quiet and reserved younger brother, had feelings for someone?
This was something Felix never expected.
But Felix wasn't the type to interfere.
If Joseph wanted Pharita, he'd have to figure things out on his own.
Felix, however, was going to enjoy watching how things unfolded.
That night, Lisa knocked on Joseph's door.
"Come in," he said, his voice flat.
Lisa walked in and leaned against the wall. "You like her, don't you?"
Joseph stiffened. "What are you talking about?"
Lisa crossed her arms. "Pharita."
Joseph didn't say anything.
Lisa smirked. "Your silence says everything."
Joseph sighed, rubbing his face. "It doesn't matter."
"Why not?"
"Because she probably doesn't see me that way."
Lisa rolled her eyes. "Are you serious? Joseph, you're literally driving yourself crazy over her. Maybe instead of hiding, you should do something about it."
Joseph looked away. "It's not that simple."
Lisa sighed. "Fine. Do whatever you want. But don't blame me when someone else takes her first."
With that, she walked out, leaving Joseph deep in thought.
