The group loads up into the RV, shocked when Priscilla insists on joining them. Her butler protests, but she waves him off. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!" The group suspects she might be trying to escape her noble responsibilities.
As they drive, Priscilla looks delighted. "Ooo, it's rare that I get to ride in an RV! They're so nice and roomy."
Luna, still processing the sight of Priscilla in casual clothes—a stark contrast to her usual noble attire—grapples with the possibility that she might finally get answers about her brother and that fateful night. She had tried questioning Alter, but Alter denied any involvement. When Luna considered asking the devil following her, Alter berated her with harsh words that brought Luna to tears.
Humming softly while gazing out the window, Luna is joined by Priscilla, who sits beside her silently. "So, Luna, you're a two-star hunter? That's surprising. I thought being from the Gold family, you'd have a higher rank."
Luna turns quickly, startled by Priscilla's stealth despite her height. "Emmerich said making me a four-star hunter immediately would get me killed."
Priscilla, surprised at Emmerich's cautious approach, chuckles. "That's unexpected. Your instincts seem sharp, though—you noticed me sneaking up."
"I just felt you sit next to me," Luna replies, tilting her head.
Priscilla laughs warmly. "You're so humble, I love it."
"Um, thank you?" Luna responds, confused.
Priscilla grins mischievously. "You're adorable. That Sunny girl is so lucky."
Luna's cheeks flush. "W-what do you mean by that?"
Priscilla raises an eyebrow. "Oh, it's kind of obvious. The way she looks at me when I'm talking to you? I can feel her glaring at me."
Blushing, Luna stammers, "W-what? I, uh, d-do you, um—"
Priscilla chuckles. "Don't worry, darling, I won't push any further. Instead, tell me about this Game Boy you've been playing."
Eagerly, Luna pulls out her Game Boy. "I've been playing Pokémon Emerald—it's so much fun! There are so many cute creatures. I really like Fire and Ghost types, and I love Treecko and Torchic! I borrowed Jamal's Game Boy so I can have both on my team."
Priscilla smiles while listening to Luna, finding her quite charming and compelling. She thinks to herself, Sunny really is lucky to have found such a gem in this girl.
As Luna enthusiastically talks about Pokémon Emerald and another game she's been playing, Golden Sun, the RV is filled with activity. Jamal strums his guitar in the background, while Tera plays Go Fish with Priscilla—despite Luna's repeated attempts to explain that there are no actual fish involved in the game.
Suddenly, the vehicle comes to a complete stop. Luna walks over to see what's wrong but freezes when she notices a cloaked figure standing outside, holding a lantern. Her nose starts to bleed, and she stumbles, feeling faint. Before she can collapse, Sunny places a talisman on her, immediately stopping the bleeding and stabilizing her. The figure, its face still obscured, vanishes completely from sight.
Luna had already instinctively started unraveling her arm, ready to fight, with Priscilla noticing a new sense of determination from her.
JJ and Jamal both run up to the front of the vehicle to see what's wrong, but something seems off about the road.
"Sunny, what the hell is going on?" JJ's voice begins to rise.
Sunny shakes her head. "I don't know. One moment I was driving on a straight stretch of road, and suddenly the scenery changed drastically. There's no more snow on the ground, and it looks like we're near some woods now."
Priscilla steps out of the vehicle, scanning the surroundings. She lets out a whistle before stepping back inside. "Well, we're in quite a conundrum. I tried calling my butler—yes, I can summon him—but nothing. That leads me to believe we might be in a pocket dimension of some sort."
Luna raises an eyebrow. "Is that even possible?!"
Priscilla nods. "Yes, if I had to guess, it's most likely a will technique."
Luna remembers the feeling—bleeding from her nose, nearly fainting—and that man, but the previous figure didn't have a lantern, right? She shakes her head, trying to piece it together. Her breathing quickens, panic creeping in, until Sunny places a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Partner, I'm here. It'll be alright."
Luna smiles, calming herself. Priscilla sits on the couch. "Like I said, I hate bloodshed. However, if things get too dicey, I'll step in. I'll keep the RV safe."
The group grabs their weapons and steps out of the RV, ready to fight. Sunny conjures a ball of white fire. "Alright, no separating—got it!"
As they scan their surroundings, they notice another cloaked figure walking by before vanishing completely from sight. Sunny activates her Eye of Talent, gaining a crucial piece of information: "That person is unique, not a clone."
More cloaked figures appear and vanish just as quickly, until suddenly, several chains shoot out, trying to drag them into the forest. As the chains fly toward them, a thick fog sets in, and the sky turns pitch black. The group fights off the chains, but Jamal feels one wrap around his leg, dragging him away.
JJ is next, pulled into the forest. Sunny tries to prevent it, but thousands of chains block her path. Luna rapidly unravels more of her body to evade capture, while Tera, too fast for most chains, dodges and weaves. However, a single chain blitzes by, wrapping around her completely and flinging her into the forest.
Despite unraveling as much as she can, Luna is also captured, along with Sunny, both flung in opposite directions into the darkness.
While Jamal is being dragged through the forest, he is thrown into a house—a familiar-looking house. Then it clicks... this is his childhood home. Jamal, terrified, looks around at the old house: the red roof, the white paint, those crooked blinds, the lawn decorations, the slight crack in the door, and the numbers 619—his old house number. Then he hears something coming from behind him.
"Hey, son," he hears the sound of his deceased father speaking behind him.
