Right sorry you're probably asking or saying to yourself "why am I getting a monologue on human behavior" or something like that right?, well I had to see whether or not you'd make it this far since most people wouldn't so if you did I applaud you.
Okay now that's out of the way let me introduce myself my name is Zephyr Lunaris and I'm currently 17 and from the Luna family. My family or rather clan is known for our magic and well money. We are able to tame some of the rarest mythical creatures known on our dear planet, siren. The magic we possess is very powerful, with us being able to shift through time itself or go to different worlds.
My magic is somewhat the same, going through another timeline is a piece of cake to me , so whenever I want to explore ill just open up a portal to a different place.
Now forming connections is one of my "chores" since I'm going to be the family head in 4 years so I have to do all of the things , useless in my opinion and not only that but I have to find someone I have to marry or my family will which I don't want but oh well. The thing is since my family is so well known on our planet that I'm going to use my magic to find someone from another planet or a different timeline and hope for the best. ( spoiler it went not as I expected)

Telling my dear parents of this plan obviously didn't go well since like any other family, they wanted their power to stay within the family or with people they knew. They don't exactly care who I end up with, girl or boy it just has to be someone they know. That's why I told them that maybe taking someone from another world would be beneficial for us to increase our power, they just has to be strong. My parents as usual says "that's not traditional within our family we have to preserve our power". Father thinks me finding a "mate" is troublesome and mother thinks they have to be pretty. So I'll find someone based on what they think will fit into our family.
