Chapter 1 - The Reborn

The story begins like so many others... with a death... a tragedy... a life...

---

"Okay, so I'm dead." Thought a spiritual form. He was dead. One moment he was walking down the street listening to music, the next, a flash of light, followed by indescribable pain, and then... he was here, staring at this... thing.

"Yes, struck by divine lightning." Despite its otherworldly appearance, the being's voice was the clearest he had ever heard.

"How?" he asked, confused, angry, sad, trying to make sense of how he'd been hit by divine lightning. At that, the being vibrated, and suddenly, a wheel appeared—one that wouldn't seem out of place in a game show. It spoke in a tone that could only be described as childlike excitement.

"Well, first I spun this wheel, which has all the universes, then randomly selected, and the name I chose was yours. I killed you, brought you here, and now we're having this conversation." Even though he couldn't begin to comprehend this being, the man could hear the smile in its voice.

He was stunned for a moment before asking, "Why go to all that trouble... just to kill me?"

"Why go to all that trouble?" Everything calmed for a moment.

"To tell the truth, I was unbearably bored, so I thought of this." It gestured toward the wheel, then sighed and shook its head before adopting its jovial tone again.

"But enough about me, let's reincarnate you!" the being declared cheerfully.

"Why me?" He questioned the indifference of this entity—no, *this God*—standing before him.

"Because you had a good life. You lived in a small town where everyone knew each other, making crime rare. Your family wasn't rich or poor, just comfortable. You were going to get married, live happily, and die with a big, loving family… but that would've been *so boring*. So, I did you a favor and killed you by accident, and now here we are, having this conversation!" It explained, sounding both cheerful and indifferent.

"But… what about my family? They'll worry about me!"

"Your family? Oh, relax… I killed them too."

"What?" He… couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Oh, come on. If I sent you where I wanted, you'd just try to go back, and I can't have that. I need you to entertain me. So, after you died, I made sure to kill them with an earthquake and sink your town. To really seal the deal, I sent an asteroid to destroy your planet. So, zero survivors. Oh, and I erased their souls, so you can't even find them in the afterlife. You're welcome." The being finished, raising its arms joyfully, as if it had done him a favor.

"Y-YOUUUU!" He had never felt such rage in his soul as he did toward the being before him.

"What are you going to do, brat? I'M GOD! You're just a human! And why shouldn't I do it, huh? Because you're human? Please. You judge and oppress animals, kill them for sport or convenience, just because you deem them less intelligent than you. So tell me, why can't I do the same? After all, you don't know even 0.001% of what I do. If we compare, I'm a human, and you're ants! I possess omniscience and awareness of everything in the omniverse, while you can barely comprehend your own minds and world! So why should I pity killing apes less evolved than me? After all, you do the same with animals."

"…" He couldn't respond because… the being was right. Humans judge other species as inferior, and this being was a God. It had every reason to see itself as superior.

Ignoring his existential crisis, the being conjured countless wheels. Four of them hovered directly in front of the dead man. They read: *POWERS*, *APPEARANCE*, *VERSE*, *TIMEFRAME*, *UNIVERSE VERSION*.

"So… everything will be decided by these wheels," he muttered, still numb, his emotions dulled—likely by this damned God.

"Exactly!" the being confirmed, agreeing with both his thoughts and words. For the first time, it seemed serious before shifting back to its cheerful demeanor. "Now!" it shouted dramatically, "Spin the wheels!" Though it gave him no explicit order, he knew it expected him to spin them in order, and defiance would accomplish nothing.

Suppressing his dulled emotions, he approached the "POWERS AND APPEARANCE" wheel. With all the strength of a man betting his entire existence on these spins, he spun it.

As the wheel spun, its clicking sound only heightened his nerves and the God's joy.

*CLICK*

*CLICK*

*CLICK*

Each click was agonizing. Thousands of worst-case scenarios flashed through his mind until it landed on…

*IKOMIKIDOMOE*

Instantly, his form transformed into the character. Descriptively, his new body was:

A massive, frog-like creature with elongated arms reaching nearly to the ground. His forelimbs ended in large claws, while his hind legs were much shorter. His neck was no longer visible, with his head extending directly from his body. His forehead bore hexagonal markings, and a structure extended from his nose across his cheeks, ending in large circles beside the hexagonal marks. A long beard hung beneath a small fragment of a Hollow mask.

Now, as Ikomikidomoe, he stood trembling, his body shaking from both fear and excitement. His new life might be entirely meaningless, but he chose distraction. Taking a deep breath, he muttered:

"You know, this isn't half-bad, depending on which version I end up with. Hopefully, the rest of the spins are in my favor." He stepped toward the "VERSE" wheel and spun again.

*CLICK*

*CLICK*

*CLICK*

The wheel stopped on… *BLEACH*.

The realization hit him like a ton of bricks. A world in constant conflict, where the afterlife was just as dangerous as existence itself, and where the ultimate destination was Hell.

If he survived long enough, he'd either be killed in some mastermind's plan, descend into insanity, or worse—become a living weapon devoid of free will, like a suspended sword! But now? Now he was Ikomikidomoe! A walking natural disaster destined to lose all freedom.

"Hahaha… I'm going to die!" he screamed, teetering between sanity and madness. "If it's not Aizen, it'll be the Hollows or the Zero Division! Hahaha… I'm going to die… die… DIE!"

Amused, the God played with a miniature universe in its hands, laughing softly as the man spiraled further into despair.

As Ikomikidomoe continued to waver between sanity and madness, the God watched a clock. After a faint hum, he spoke over Ikomikidomoe's screams:

"You know, fear and madness took much longer to seep in than I thought. Now, what to do while he's like this?"

After an indeterminate amount of time, the being was seen playing with what seemed to be a globe, but it wasn't an ordinary globe. No, it was a universe in itself. Playing with the globe meant unleashing numerous horrors upon it before obliterating it with a flick of his finger, destroying the universe. A sigh of discontent followed, as boredom spread throughout existence.

When he was about to summon another universe to play with, he heard the sound he had been waiting for all this time.

CLICK.

CLICK.

CLICK.

Looking grim but determined, Ikomikidomoe spun the "POWER ALLOCATION IN THE UNIVERSE" wheel.

CLICK.

CLICK.

CLICK.

It stopped at "PEAK." Although Ikomikidomoe did not smile, his relief was palpable. He wasn't completely doomed by the roulette. He would at least retain his original powers and ensure his survival. Having done that, he walked towards the "DATE" wheel. In the middle of his steps, he stopped, turned to the being who had brought him here, and simply stared.

Witnessing this, the God's emotions once again spread through existence. This time, instead of boredom, confusion was felt. The confusion lasted only a moment before being replaced by realization, followed by a soft laugh.

"That wheel dictates when you arrive in the canon!"

Turning to the roulette marked "BEFORE," "DURING," and "AFTER" canon, he spun it again.

CLICK.

CLICK.

CLICK.

It landed on "BEFORE," and silence engulfed everything until Ikomikidomoe laughed.

IKOMIKIDOMOE WAS LAUGHING!

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Madness had infiltrated him. He was descending into blind insanity, facing an uncertain fate.

But finally feeling his emotions fully return, he quickly turned to attack the one responsible for all of this.

The being who had killed him.

Stolen his destiny.

Killed his family.

Destroyed his world.

His hope.

His EVERYTHING.

But it was all in vain.

He felt himself being skinned alive!

Then he felt himself being forced into slumber.

"Sorry, buddy, but like it or not, you're going to entertain me..."

"God... I HATE YOU! I WILL KILL YOU! GOOOOOD!"

"HEHEHE, good luck with that... mortal!"

And so, his inner vision was blinded, and he soon fell asleep. His soul was cast into the chaotic Greek world, as the new primordial Hollow—or better yet, IKOMIKIDOMOE.

『"When the spiritual world had not yet fully assumed its current form; when Shinigami lacked weapons to call their own, the Menos Grande thrived in Hueco Mundo. During the era of the dawn of Hollows, their evolution was chaotic. They evolved to the Adjuchas level, unable to achieve humanoid forms and lacking willpower, persisting for a long time.

One such ancient spirit, particularly powerful, fought against Baraggan Louisenbairn and others who had reached a new level of evolution: the Vasto Lorde and Arrancar levels.

This Hollow belonged to no group, opposing the hegemony of Baraggan's faction in the sea of Hueco Mundo's sands. A creature endowed with intelligence, it continued to evolve, possessing a torrent of reiryoku. It consumed everything in its path until one day it left Hueco Mundo, spreading its influence to the Living World and the reishi-rich Soul Society, where Shinigami were powerless.

It continued absorbing everything into its body, breaking and destroying everything in its path like a hurricane. A grotesque figure with limitless evolution, it bore some resemblance to the 'Gluttony' ability possessed by the Gillian later known as the Noveno Espada, but that's a different story. Unlike that ability, it couldn't retain the skills of those it consumed but gained a proliferative ability. Instead, the reiatsu of what it consumed accumulated inexhaustibly within its body.

As its reiatsu, compressed within the body of an Adjuchas, grew, it was recognized by Baraggan, who ruled over 'senescence,' as a 'walking disaster of infinite evolution.' The two reached an agreement never to interfere with one another.

One day, after a climactic battle against Shinigami, including the young Yamamoto Shigekuni, it ascended to the heavens to devour the Soul King but was defeated by the Monk and sealed by Nimaiya Ōetsu.

It was given the name 'Ikomikidomoe.'

The Monk used 'Ichimonji' to strip it of its name and rewrite a new one using 'Shin'uchi: Shirafude Ichimonji.' It was then forged into a blade by Ouetsu with its reiatsu sealed as it was.

Its original existence wasn't erased from the cycle of reincarnation, as eradicating the immense number of Hollows condensed within it would have tilted the world's balance.

Until a Shinigami worthy of wielding this power appeared, the blade remained sealed deep within the Phoenix Palace by Ōetsu. A millennium passed in the blink of an eye. The seal was broken, and the blade was entrusted to a new entity. A child without a birthday. In the hands of someone destined to become the King of Souls, this blade was fated to devour him." 』

In the desolate areas of Hueco Mundo, there existed a being that defied all logic known to the creatures of that realm.

"Hollows."

The entity was undoubtedly a powerful Hollow, yet it was distinct in many ways. The creature was larger than usual, even when compared to a Menos Grande, and it had taken the grotesquely beautiful form of an Adjucha, resembling an ōgama.

Unlike humanity, Hollows can grow large enough to pierce the heavens; even when their advantage is derived from equipment or technique, after crossing a threshold not easily overcome, they obstruct the path of progress for the Shinigami. However, the reason this is described as "some sort of advantage" depends on the fact that it is not omnipresent.

It is possible for a Shinigami, who has mastered the Zankensoki to a certain level, to kill even a Hollow ten times their own size. In many cases, Zanpakutōs also have the capacity to rival a Hollow of such enormity. Hollows grow by consuming one another, eventually becoming enormous beings known as "Menos Grande," capable of hindering the Shinigami at every step. Yet from this point, it is common for growth to diverge.

In the process of evolving from Gillian to Adjuchas, and further into Vasto Lorde, the size of a Hollow shrinks, as though the reishi that had expanded their body were gradually being condensed.

But for this Hollow, things were different. Even with its massive size, it was possible to sense among nearby beings the wave of **PRIMAL FEAR** that this entity emanated simply by existing.

However, what was strange was how a being of such magnitude stood still, appearing peaceful—a contradiction to the very nature of Hollows.

Was it calm?

Was it a peaceful being?

A Hollow different from others, seeking something beyond its savage instincts?

No!

Sometimes, a person's wrath becomes so immense that it turns into calmness—and a calm fury is far worse than an explosive one.

A calm fury tends to be more controlled, methodical, and calculated. While explosive anger manifests immediately and visibly, often without much strategy, calm fury is cold and rational, allowing the individual to analyze the situation, plan their actions, and strike with greater precision and effectiveness.

And so—

[That damned god…] A voice that seemed to reverberate from the depths of the earth came from the being that was furiously calm.

It was, in truth, a soul FORCED to reincarnate when a god decided to play games. A mere random soul had been chosen to become the new consciousness of this body. One from outside this world, though that mattered little to the gods in their amusement.

[If that deity thinks I'll be an obedient dog and stay silent, you're mistaken…] After a moment of silence, Ikomikidomoe muttered to himself before letting out a roar within Hueco Mundo that seemed intent on obliterating everything.

"____________"

His voice shook the atmosphere, transforming its turbulence into wind, and the dense, concentrated reiatsu coalesced to generate numerous aggressive tornadoes in the surrounding space.

A single colossal eye opened at the center of his face. At the same time, a massive amount of reiryoku surged forth from Ikomikidomoe's body. A blinding light engulfed part of the desert. It wasn't a Cero but an explosion of reiryoku radiating outward from himself. The ground ruptured; the quartz sands and boulders were hurled into the air by the sheer force of the blast. The explosion spread so extensively that the increased reiatsu caused it to expand downward into the sands, creating a chasm that descended to the Menos Forest.

...

After the explosion and his subsequent fall, Ikomikidomoe now found himself buried under extensive, deep layers of sand in the ruins beneath Hueco Mundo's desert, within the Menos Forest.

**[How irritating… but much of my rage has subsided.]** The ancient Hollow thought.

**[I'll just sleep and relax… yes… a nap of a few days might help… ZZZZZZZ.]**

...…

...

---

[MEANWHILE]

In the depths of Hueco Mundo, where silence was broken only by the howls of wind passing through the white forest, something had changed. The explosion of reiryoku released by Ikomikidomoe had transformed the environment. It was not merely a kinetic shock; it was a roar that shook the very essence of all beings inhabiting that desolate world.

Above the desert, Adjuchas wandering in search of weaker prey felt the impact. The energy released by the buried giant was not something they could ignore. It was as if a rising sun had appeared on the horizon, its overwhelming presence forcing them to make a choice. Those with intelligence or a sense of self-preservation withdrew, distancing themselves from the epicenter of the power, like prey fleeing an ancient predator. The less rational, driven by hunger or curiosity, cautiously approached the area, like flies drawn to light.

In the Menos Forest below the desert, where massive quartz trees stood like pillars of a shadowy temple, Menos Grande and lesser Hollows also reacted. Some shrank in panic, disappearing among the trees' shadows. Others, consumed by primal instincts, advanced toward the epicenter, hoping to find something to satiate their insatiable hunger.

Yet, others were drawn to the reiryoku released by Ikomikidomoe. Typically, Vasto Lorde remain isolated, but such a raw display of power would attract attention to a potential new predator in this eternal struggle.

"Hmmm… this energy… how many millennia has it been since I last felt it?... Is this a sign of his return? I'll be waiting for you… my old rival…" an ancient Hollow thought, seated on his throne.

'Kukukuku… such immense power~ I'd love to dissect him and uncover all his potential!' a writhing mass of tentacles trembled in euphoric anticipation.

"Such terrifying power… It seems the dark tides of war will once again consume Hueco Mundo…" A dark-skinned Vasto Lorde thought as she gazed at her beloved companions.

___________________________________

"What… is this?... Is it… emptiness? Could it be… empty like me?"

Amid a sea of colorless thorns, a solitary Vasto Lorde wondered, for the first time leaving its cocoon, intrigued by the "emptiness" it had briefly felt expanding.

Within the newly constructed palace of Las Noches, Sōsuke Aizen sat on his throne, exuding an aura of calculated tranquility. Suddenly, a powerful surge of reiryoku disturbed the serenity of his surroundings. Aizen raised an eyebrow slightly—a rare display of interest on his typically composed face.

"Kaname," his voice rang out, soft yet commanding, echoing through the chamber. Tousen Kaname approached and bowed respectfully.

"Yes, Aizen-sama."

"Summon the current Espada for an immediate meeting. It seems we have a new development worthy of our attention."

"As you wish." Kaname responded promptly, vanishing to fulfill the order.

Left alone once more, Aizen allowed himself a moment of contemplation. The emergence of a being capable of releasing such an immense amount of reiryoku was, at the very least, intriguing. In his strategic mind, he considered the implications of this newfound power.

"Interesting…" he mused, a faint smile curving his lips. "If this being possesses potential, it may prove to be a useful piece on the board. Or, at the very least, an element worth monitoring closely."

To Aizen, his associates often resembled pieces in a grand game, each to be maneuvered to achieve his ultimate goals. The possibility of a new player with significant power only made the game more fascinating.

"We'll see where this development leads,"

he reflected, his eyes glinting with curiosity.

As the Espada prepared to convene, Aizen readied himself to make yet another move in his elaborate plans.
