A colossal figure moved through the forest fog started to thicken as it moves, its massive frame blending with the eerie mist as it ventured deeper into the forest. Each step caused the ground to tremble slightly, the sound of crushed leaves and snapping branches echoing through the silence
Soon its eyes lay on a cave that is covered by a large bolder
'Growl!... ' the mist surrounding the bear starts to thicken as the bear approaches the cave.
Soon the entire cave is covered in dense mist as the bear readies itself
BOOM!
A deafening explosion echoed through the chamber, the force of it shaking the very walls. Dust and loose stone tumbled from above, scattering across the ground.
Jack's body tensed. "What was that?"
His head snapped toward the source of the sound back the way he had come.
His heart pounded as he rushed toward the pond. He peered upward, eyes locking onto the jagged opening in the cavern's ceiling the hole he had fallen through.
And then he saw it.
A massive, hulking figure loomed above, its piercing eyes glowing like burning embers in the darkness. A thick mane of fur bristled as it bared its fangs, saliva dripping from its maw.
"Demon bear..." Jack whispered in terror as he locked eyes with the monstrous beast that had chased him. The same one that had nearly killed him.
"It followed me here.." Jack's breath hitched as a sudden tightness gripped his chest. His hand instinctively pressed against the spot where his wounds had been healed.
"does it want to finish our battle or am I just a prey" jack thought as the phantom pain crept in.
A sharp, crushing sensation, like claws tearing into his flesh all over again. His mind recoiled, dragging him back to that moment—the desperate chase, the unbearable agony, the feeling of his ribs cracking under the beast's monstrous strength.
His breath quickened. The cavern around him blurred, replaced by the memory of blood-soaked ground, of his own screams echoing in his ears.
It should be gone.
It's already healed.
Then why does it still hurt?
His fingers trembled as he clenched his fist, forcing himself to breathe.
"I need to take it down I am stronger now" But as he locked eyes with the demon bear, the terror clawed its way back.
'No.I need to get away from here' the thought echoed in jacks mind
Before he could react, the bear lunged.
With a thunderous roar, the creature leapt straight into the pond.
SPLASH!
A colossal wave erupted as the beast crashed into the water, sending shockwaves rippling through the chamber. Jack staggered back, shielding his face as droplets rained down around him.
Then, something changed.
Jack's eyes widened as the pond's ethereal green glow the very energy that had healed and strengthened him began to fade.
Dimmer.
Weaker.
It was being absorbed.
Jack swallowed hard. "The bear… it's taking it."
His fists clenched. He could already feel it the energy that had once surged through the water was now flowing toward the beast.
The bear's massive form pulsed with power. Its wounds closed at an unnatural speed, its muscles bulged, and a dark, almost malevolent aura began to seep from its body.
The bear's massive form twitched as the power took hold. Its wounds sealed shut in an instant, its muscles bulged unnaturally, warping and expanding, veins surging with raw strength. Its fur darkened, shifting to an almost abyssal black, pulsating as if alive.
A low, guttural growl rumbled from its throat—a sound so deep it vibrated through the stone. The air itself grew heavy, thick with something vile and unnatural.
Then, the bear lifted its head.
Jack's blood ran cold.It was getting stronger.
"This isn't just something I can fight anymore," Jack realized, as the bear let out a deep, inhuman snarl and then, it grinned.
Jack took a step back.
He was trapped.
