Chapter 1: A Strange New World
Aidan slowly opened his eyes, feeling an overwhelming dizziness. His head was pounding as if someone was striking it repeatedly. He tried to move his hands, but his body felt heavy and stiff. Gradually, he sat up, looking around. The view before him was entirely unfamiliar—the sky was a deep purple, dotted with twinkling stars, and towering trees with glowing blue leaves surrounded him. The ground beneath his feet shimmered with a light blue hue, and the air felt fresh but carried a scent he couldn't quite place.
"What happened?" Aidan whispered to himself, trying to make sense of the strange situation.
He looked left and right, but all he saw was the forest—an alien forest that he had never seen before. Not just the place, but the entire atmosphere felt... different. There was something powerful in the air, something mysterious that made him feel like he didn't belong here.
Aidan stood up, still feeling disoriented, his body weak. He tried to focus, to remember what had happened before this, but his mind was clouded. The last thing he recalled was sitting in his bedroom, reading a book, and then… darkness. After that, everything around him seemed unreal.
Panic began to rise, but he quickly forced himself to calm down. In the fantasy novels he read, the main character always found some clue or guide when they were transported to a new world. Aidan decided to follow that logic. If this was some kind of strange world, he would figure out what to do next.
He started walking, his steps hesitant at first. "I can't just stay here forever," he muttered, pushing forward. With each step, the oddness of this world became more apparent—trees that shimmered, the glowing blue earth, and the light, almost magical air—all of it made him feel like he was in a dream.
After walking for a while, Aidan heard the sound of flowing water. Without thinking much, he headed toward the sound, hoping to find something—anything—that could explain what was going on.
The further he walked, the more strange this world became. The air was charged with energy, and everything seemed to pulse with an unknown force. But Aidan pressed on, determined to find answers. He knew he couldn't stay lost in this strange land without understanding what was happening.
Eventually, he arrived at a calm river. The water glowed softly as it flowed peacefully through the forest. In the middle of the river, a large stone stood, radiating a golden light. The stone seemed to beckon him, calling him forward. Aidan felt a strange pull toward it, as if the stone held the answers he was searching for.
He approached the stone, and as soon as his hand touched it, a bright flash of light enveloped him, nearly blinding him. He staggered back, startled. But as the light faded, a voice—deep and mysterious—resonated in his mind.
"Welcome, Aidan, the traveler from another world," the voice said.
Aidan froze. His heart raced, and the reality of his situation began to sink in. He was no longer in his world. He had been transported to a place he didn't recognize. But who was this voice? And what did it mean by "traveler"?
Before he could gather his thoughts, the voice spoke again, this time softer, as if offering guidance.
"Do not be afraid, Aidan. You are here for a purpose, and your journey has only just begun."
Aidan felt a mix of fear and curiosity rise within him. The world around him pulsed with energy, and he had no idea what awaited him. But one thing was certain—his life would never be the same again.
