Chapter 2 - chapter 2

Meanwhile at the hospital a nurse entered Sean's room to check on Sean's condition.

"Greetings, Mas Sean," said the Bunter. "It's time to be checked."

Sean was shocked and confused to see Buster holding a plastic bag full of fruit. "Sister, what are the ingredients?"

Sutter put the plastic bag on the table. Oh, I just found it in front of the request, Mat.

Don't we cry?" Sean tentu naje bengung

Tya Maybe earlier someone wanted to visit Mes Sean, but because they were afraid of having to wait, they did it in front of Pito. The nurse concluded that she had to inject medicine into the injection.

Sean was confused, "Was there someone busy earlier? Who was it? He asked himself.

The nurse injected medicine into the IV line attached to Sean's arm, then wrote down some short notes. "Anything else you're complaining about?" the nurse asked.

But Sean was lost in thought, thinking about the fruit bearer.

"Mr. Sean?" called the nurse.

Sean was shocked. "Oh? Yeah?"

"Are there any other complaints?" the nurse repeated her question.

Sean shook his head slowly. "Oh, nothing, Sister. I'm fine."

"Okay, have a good rest, Mr. Sean." The nurse closed her notes.

Sean nodded.

The nurse left the room and Sean was alone again.

Sean glanced at the plastic bag on the table, still wondering who brought it. Then a few seconds later, his thoughts had shifted to something else.

"Oh yes, does Rhea already know, if I have an accident?" Sean asked himself again. "But if he already knew, why didn't he go out of his way to visit me? He didn't know yet, right? But it's not possible that he didn't know, Abel must have told him immediately. If Rhea already knew, why didn't he come? I have to call him."

Sean grabbed his phone and called Rhea.

Rhea was still in the taxi when Sean called her. Rhea, who was still upset with Sean, clearly did not want to take Sean's call. She even turned off her phone in annoyance.

"Huh? Why did you break up?" Sean tried to contact Rhea again but Rhea's number was inactive. "It's inactive now? What's wrong, Rhea? Isn't she worried about me?"

Sean threw his phone on the nightstand in annoyance and then lay down on the bed with his arms folded behind his head. "Is Rhea mad because the dinner failed? But that's not what I wanted either? Who wants an accident anyway?"

Sean changed his position lying on his side while observing the fruits in the plastic bag. "Why Rhe, you still can't accept me? Until when do I have to wait?"

That night Rhea studied alone in her boarding house. Even until the evening she still had not activated her cellphone. She was lazy to receive calls from Sean because she was still upset. Rhea tried to divert her thoughts about Sean by busying herself studying the most difficult subjects so that she could occupy her brain, but the result was nil. She still remembered Sean.

Flashback a year ago

Rhea cried in Sean's arms.

Sean hugged her and stroked her head gently, as if he was willing to be Rhea's host at any time, including times like now, when Rhea was sad and wanted to cry. Sean was willing to lend his chest to Rhea.

"You don't have to be afraid. I will make sure you are not alone. I am still here. I will always be by your side, I will not leave you."

Rhea was still crying.

Sean tightened his hug on Rhea. "I won't tell you to stop crying. If you still want to cry, just cry, it's okay. Rather than holding it in, it will make you hurt more later. Don't worry, I'm still waiting for you."

Rhea finally gave up and closed her book and took her phone---turning it on. There were a lot of incoming chats from Sean, as she expected.

(Rhe, are you okay?)

(Why didn't you pick up my phone? Are you sick?)

(Sorry the dinner plans fell through, but I'll pay for it another time.)

(Are you really okay? If you're not busy, call back.)

Rhea took a deep breath. "At a time like this, you still have time to worry about me? What a weirdo." Rhea couldn't believe it.

The phone was thrown back to its original place, then Rhea lay down on the bed. Not at all intending to call Sean back.

In the morning at school, Abel saw that Rhea had arrived and immediately ran to her at their desk.

"Rhe, didn't you visit Sean?" Abel asked.

Rhea is lazy to talk about Sean, she prefers to open her book and ignore Abel.

"Sean asked you to find out. Didn't you go to the hospital yesterday? I thought you went there." Abel kept pushing. "Then why hasn't your phone been active since yesterday? I've called you many times."

"What's going on?"

"What's going on?" Abel was surprised. "Aren't you worried about Sean?

Didn't you come to the hospital that night, you were so worried about Sean? But why didn't you visit him at the hospital?"

"Just accept that I was wrong," answered Rhea lightly.

Abel didn't understand what Rhea meant. "Huh?"

Rhea ignored the confused Abel.

"What do you mean?" Abel shook Rhea's shoulders. "Have you changed your mind now?"

"What should I change?"

"Open your heart to Sean."

Rhea looked at Abel for a moment then turned back to the book she was opening. Not wanting to comment.

Abel could only sigh at his friend's behavior. Rhea's heart is indeed unpredictable.
