Chapter 1 - Rebirth

Flashbacks from WandaVision

"You don't know what you've unleashed!" Agatha shouted, her voice echoing with desperation.

"You'll need my help" she added, smirking as if she held a secret card.

"I guess I do" Wanda replied calmly, her gaze cold and unwavering. "But for now, play the character you've chosen for yourself—the nosy neighbor."

With a flick of her wrist, Wanda drained Agatha's powers, transforming her back into Agnes, leaving her powerless and ordinary once again.

UNKNOWN'S POV

"Princess, time has called you once again. His mercy has been granted to you once more," an eerie voice whispered through the shadows.

I opened my tear-filled eyes, glowing purple with power and a thirst for revenge. The air around me crackled with raw energy, igniting the dark room with an ominous purple fire.

I stood at the center of a circle of flames, my hands and feet bound by heavy iron chains. The room reeked of damp stone and ash, and the flickering firelight danced on the walls. I could barely move, my body weak from the relentless torment.

As a tear rolled down my cheek and fell to the ground, the fire began to dim, its intensity faltering. Suddenly, the chains that held me captive weakened and snapped. Pain surged through my body as I screamed, the sound piercing the silence.

The curse had been broken.

DIVING INTO THE MULTIVERSE SAGA: REBIRTH

---

Back to my daily life, where no one knows my identity. Here's a quick recap:

I'm Peter Parker, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. During a high school science trip, I was bitten by a radioactive spider, giving me superpowers. Since then, life has been a rollercoaster.

Tony Stark recruited me to fight alongside him—my dream come true! But things escalated quickly. From battling in space to turning to dust, and even losing Tony Stark, I've been through a lot.

Doctor Strange helped erase my identity from everyone's memory to protect me, but it cost me dearly. My girlfriend, MJ, and the rest of the world forgot who I was. She's happy now, but it hurts not being part of her life anymore.

Back to the Present

After school, as I walked home, I noticed a girl running toward me. She wore a black tracksuit and a mask, her silky hair flowing wildly behind her as she moved. Physics, why are you so unfair?

Behind her were four men armed with guns. My spider-sense kicked in. As she neared me, I grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the side, pinning her against the wall to hide her from view. The men ran past us, oblivious to her presence.

"You're safe now" I said, meeting her gaze. Her eyes were filled with fear and exhaustion.

Blood dripped from her hand, and when I tried to check it, she fainted. I had no choice but to carry her to my place. Her wound wasn't deep, just a graze, but it was enough to bleed profusely.

The next morning, I checked on her. She hadn't moved. Panic set in.

"Is she dead?" I muttered, leaning closer to check her breathing.

Her eyes shot open, and bam! She punched me square in the face.

"I was just checking if you were breathing!" I yelped, clutching my nose.

"Sorry" she whispered, wincing as she tried to move her injured hand.

"Don't move. Someone tried to shoot you yesterday. If I hadn't intervened—"

"Thanks" she interrupted, her voice soft but firm.

She removed her mask, revealing a stunning face—Peter, focus!

"Why were they chasing you?" I asked cautiously.

"They're SHIELD agents. I stole classified information from them" she replied nonchalantly.

"What???" I got shocked, Was I helping a traitor???

"Looks like you already know about SHIELD" she said, her voice laced with suspicion as she observed my reaction.

I didn't respond, trying to play it cool.

"Only SHIELD agents know about it..." she added, rising slowly from the bed despite her earlier injuries.

Let's talk about SHIELD: The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. It's a top-secret agency that handles everything from alien invasions to rogue superhumans. Oh, and yes, the Avengers work with them.

Nick Fury? The infamous one-eyed director? Yeah, I've dealt with him. Let's just say SHIELD probably knows Spider-Man exists, but thankfully, not who I am.

"Who are you?" she asked, stepping closer, her sharp gaze almost dissecting me.

"Just a student, Miss" I replied casually, avoiding eye contact.

"And I guess everyone knows the childhood rumor about the one-eyed man running a secret agency of agents. SHIELD, right? I used to love those theories as a kid" I added with a shrug. "Didn't think they were actually real, though. Makes sense now."

"Evren" she said firmly.

"What?"

"Don't call me 'Miss.' I have a name—it's Evren," she corrected, her tone softening just a bit.

"Oh. I'm Peter Parker" I offered, trying to keep things polite.

"Parker... that sounds familiar" she murmured, her brows knitting together briefly.

She adjusted her outfit awkwardly before continuing, "Sorry for causing trouble. I shouldn't even be here."

"But you're not okay! Bullet wounds take time to heal. You'll feel weak or—maybe even faint" I pointed out, concerned.

Her lips quirked into a small, almost teasing smile. "What wound?" she asked as she began unwrapping her bandage.

I froze, my jaw practically hitting the floor. Where is her wound?!

"How did—" I began, but she interrupted me.

"Where is the Sanctum Sanctorum?" she asked, cutting straight to the point.

"Bleecker Street, 177A... wait! Why do you need to go there?"

"Wow, you're quick" she replied with a smirk, as if amused by my skepticism.

I instinctively ran my hand through my hair, trying to act unfazed.

"Thanks, but—"

"I'm Doctor Strange's assistant. Or, well, his newly appointed one" she revealed matter-of-factly.

Doctor Strange. The Sorcerer Supreme. Or... he was until Wong took over after we all turned to dust for five years. Anyway, I've worked with Strange. Fought Thanos (the ugly purple pumpkin alien), saved the universe—or at least tried. He's also partly why my life is so chaotic now.

"Doctor Strange's assistant?" I repeated, my tone skeptical. "So, you're saying being his assistant somehow explains why you're... woundless?"

She gave me a pointed look. "I thought you were smart enough to figure that out yourself, Parker."

"Hmm. Makes sense" I admitted, nodding slightly.

Grabbing my bike keys, I motioned for her to follow. YES, I'm officially a bike owner now!

We rode in silence to the Sanctum Sanctorum, the air thick with unspoken questions.

"Thanks" she said as we arrived at the grand, mystical structure. Pausing at the entrance, she glanced back at me.

"Aren't you coming in?" she asked.

"Nah. I've got other stuff to take care of" I replied, trying to sound nonchalant.

"As you wish" she said, her tone neutral as she turned and walked inside.

I watched her disappear through the door, feeling like this wasn't the last time our paths would cross.

Bonus Scene

"Sir, do you really want to do this?" Maria Hill asked, her tone filled with concern.

"What's the report?" Nick Fury asked, his gaze fixed on the vast expanse outside the helicarrier.

"He killed five agents and two scientists yesterday" Maria replied gravely.

"He's moving too fast" Fury murmured, finally turning to face her.

"Are you really going to use MI-009?" Maria questioned.

"I already did" Fury said, his face as cold as steel.

"But it wasn't ready! Are you sure?"

"Hope for the best" Fury muttered, picking up a phone.

"What's the status?" he asked, his voice low. After a pause, he ended the call.

"I told you" he said to Maria with a smirk, his expression unreadable as he prepared for what was to come.
